9 Chapter 9

Keinichi put a lot of effort to sleep but fail. Cacha voice rang in his mind unstoppable. "Sorry about realier" He repeated her words.

"Why did she say sorry to me ? She didn't do anything bad" he asked him self.

He could not sleep well that night. He peeped on the clock on his iphone, it was 7 o'clock. He got up and went to the living room. He saw another girl from the family was tidying up the table, his grandfather was having a conversation with Mr Feng while the male from the family were bringing empty bowl and cutlery to the room.

"I am sorry, You are our guests but you guys preparing breakfast today" it was his grandfather.

"It's ok. My wife and Alice love to do it" Mr Feng smiled.

"Keinichi, come and sit here" Grandpa Yamaguchi waived his hand.

Keinichi looked around and chose to sit on the otherside, far away from the other.

"Breakfast is ready" Cacha came inside with two bowls and went back to the kitchen. She came back shortly after with more food.

everyone took their seat and for some reason, Keinichi and Cacha were next to each other. Keinichi frowned when he saw what was inside the bowl. It was brown rice, but smell quite nice.

Cacha understood his glance. So it's decided to explain to him " Grandma Yamaguchi wishes to try our food. It's call nasi goreng. it is basicly fried rice with some chicken. You can add the sunny egg if you want. Actually, we don't eat rice for breakfast at home".

Keinichi nodded then he ate his brrakfast quietly.

"Do you like it ?" Mrs Feng suddently asked Keinichi in the middle of her conversation.

Keinichi was startled, he smiled awkwardly. It was his first time to taste it, it was tasty. However, instead of admited that he liked it, he said "It's ok".

"is it too sweet ? See mum, it told you not to add so many kecap" Cacha said.

"It's good for us" Grandpa Yamaguchi glared at Keinichi.

Cacha suspected Keinichi liked the food because his bowl was already empty. She put more rice to keinichi bowl "Help me to finish it. I am full but our family habit is not to waste any food. As the result of that habbit, Look at my cheek, it is always chubby since I was baby".

Keinichi could not help but smiled. He ducked his head and finished another bowl.

After breakfast, they all went out to explore the village with the elders as the tour guide. They explained this and that.

"I came this side yesterday. I'm going to the other side, Bye" Cacha cheerfuly waived her hand and left the others.

"Cacha !" Sean shouted but she just giggled and run away.

"Gosh, this kid is getting disobedient" Mr Feng shook his head.

Mrs Yamaguchi then shifted their attention to Keinichi "please go with her. she is not familair with thia area".

"Why do you ask me ? it's her choice"

"If something happen to her, you should take responsibility" Grandma Yamaguchi was unhappy with him.

"Why me ?" He challenged them but he changed his mind "Ok. I'll do it" then He went to Cacha direction with annoyed look.

Shortly, He was able to catch up with her. He saw her for far and followed her from behind. He was battling for sometime if he had to walk closer to her or not. At the end, he decided to walk next to her.

"Why did you apology to me last night" He asked her.

Cacha who was taking picture seriously was frighten by him. She did not aware some one was next to her. She shrieked and patted her chest "Oh, You nearly gave me heart attack".

After she calmed down, she worked out how to address him. She smiled "Because I tought Oniichan is sex predator".

He was stunned and laughed "Me ? sex predator ?"

There was trace of guilty in her face, she nodded "Yes. It was like in the manga. Oniichan, please for give me".

He only noticed she called him oniichan, it sounded weird to him but he did not why he did not mind. "Try to read less of those stupid and useless book".

"It's fun. good for relax" She ignored him and walked away. She was skipping here and there while He was tailing her from behind.

After while, she sat on the big rock in the middle of the field and took her back pack off. He sat next to her and swept his surounding. It was full of tree without leave and brownies grass "If you come in other season this place is very beautifull. It is reddish in spring , turn green and purple in summer and become yellowish in autumn".

Cacha nodded " I can imagine. Winter in here is much older than back home. Here, most of tree are hibernate, beautiful tree become dry wood while in my place, there are still plenty green tree. But it's my purpose to stay longer so I can understand this kind of season. Hopefully, I can design lanscape that match every season".

Keinichi stared at the girl. Her face was not clearly visible to him due to the sun ray, but he could feel her warm, sweet and gentle smile.

She opened her back pack, the took a bottle of water "Do you want some drink ? but you have to share with me".

She drank half then keinichi took it and emptied the bottle "I'll buy you a new one when we find vending machine".

"Do you want some snack ?" Cacha took a pack of pooky biscuit from her back.

"No thank you. It's too sweet" He rejected it without looking at the pack.

"It's green tea one. so it should be bitter, unless you stare at me when you drink it, then it's too sweet" She grinned.

He snorted and shook his head due to amuzement of her confident . It was his first time to meet this kind of girl
