It was nearly end of May. Kenichi had made all necessary preparation for their departure. New staff who looked after Cacha role had started his job.

"why do you hire people to do my job ? are you going to replace me soon ?" She was not happy.

"We need him. When we come back, you need to focus on our wedding preparation, a lot of thing to do. I need to organise the opening ceremony and our new project here also in Shanghai"

Cacha felt guilty, he was indeed very busy "Do want me to help you ?"

He put her on his lap "Yes, please. When the team finish with landscape draft for our projects, Help me to check it and tell me anything to be changes. I'll pass it to the team to look after"

"My pleasure" She was happy that she was still helpfull for him.

"Babe, You are an special landscape director.

She smiled "What's the salary rate ?"

He pulled his wallet and put it on her palm "all yours. buy what ever you want".

"Are you sure ?"

He caressed her cheek "I'll hand out all my money for you to manage after we're back"

"Don't worry. I'll be the best financial adviser and accountant for you"

Cacha phone rang, it was grandma Anderson "Nana"

"Sweet heart, are you coming on first on June ?"

"Yes. We fly at the end of the month"

"Good. everything is ready. Your parents said they come on the same day with your second brother first"

"I know. Mum told me yesterday"

"is Finlay there ? Can I talk to him"

"Wait a second" Cacha passed the phone to Kenichi.

"Finlay, We have discussed and agreed to let your mother to come. Call her, ask her to come with your grandparents" It was Kenichi big day. They wanted him to have a complete family with him, both parents and both side grandparents.

"I don't think she is willing. I'll ask her anyway"

"alright. Let me know when they will arrive"

He remember they held management meeting every week when his grandfather and his mum attended. Coinsidently, it was the next day. Talking by phone was too rude, he did not have enough time to visit them one by one. Their flight would be on three days time and he still had few works to do. So, with much regret and unwillingly, chose to come to the company.

The next day, After had his very late lunch, He went to see his grandfather ans mother. After waiting for 10 minutes in the waiting room. just after 4 o'clock, His grandfather went out with his mother and few others executives.

Kenichi stood up and walked toward them.

Every one was dumpstruck to see him there. Ignoring the rest, Kenichi bowed her head to greet the elder. After the excutives excused them self and went away, he turned his head to his mother "Dad is going to hold a party to introduce Cacha. they are asking if you want to come"

Mrs Matsunaga was still upsad at Kenichi. He did not explicitly tell her that he was going to propose his girl friend last time and made her parents lectures her for hours. Even up until now, They still brought up this matter. She put sour face "I won't come. You don't need me, I'm no one for you"

"It's ok. They asked you as courtesy because you're the woman who gave birth to me" Kenichi turned to his grandfather "Since she is not coming, it's inconvenient for me to ask you to come"

Grandpa Yamaguchi smiled bitterly. he patted Kenichi shoulder "Doesn't matter if we are there or not, You always have your grandma and my blessing"

"Thank you"

"Don't forget to let me know the big day. I need to make preparation"

"Will do. See you"

Grandpa Yamaguchi watched Kenichi disappear then he said coldly to his daughter "You did not spare time to meet his future in law family, didn't come to his important moment, now you don't even bother to come to his paternal family'sparty. Why does he need a mother like you ? you never threat him like son anyway"

"Father"

Grandpa Yamaguchi avoided his daughter eyes. He held his assistant hand "Lets go".

"Sir, young master, he"

"He's going to marry soon"

"is it true ? The buttler and his wife told me before that young master brought his girl friend home, but I didn't believe them"

Grandpa laughed "My wife and me wer3 shocked as well. Never crossed in your mind he would date her. His Fiancee is the daughter of my friend. She's young and cheerfull girl. You need to help me to make necessary prepararion for his wedding".

"will do" The assistant really wanted to meet eldest young master fiancee.

Mrs Matsunaga signed. She did really want to go, but her ego told her to wait until Kenichi or her ex-husband asked her for second time. Sadly, It never happened. When She called Kenichi few days later, his phone was off already. She did not dare to call her ex-husband too.

On the way back, Kenichi mood was low. Did he dissapoint with his mother ? yes and no. Before coming there, He had strong feeling that his mother would not come, But he still hoped she would said yes.

At that time, he was still hoping that her mother had a slight effection to him as her son. He was wrong. She was merely a surrogate mother for him. She gave birth to him and was paid by the company share.

He told him self that it was for the better. At least Cacha did not have to deal with mother in law problem because she had no mother in law.

"Does she not want to come ?" Cacha asked when they were ready for bed time.

Kenichi was dumsptruck. Was it to obvious written in his face. Of course, they had been together for one and half year. They could understand each other without saying anything.

"Don't think to much She must have something much more important. May be if we gave her more time, she would say yes"

"it must me the case" He kissed her forehead and hugged her. Her present and empathy was more than enough to amend his broken heart. He thanked the heaven to send her to him.

"Darling, why do we have to come two weeks before ?"

"No idea. Did not you ask Nana ?"

"I did but she said it's a surprise"

"Just wait then. We'll know in the next 48 hours anyway"
