Grandma and grandpa Anderson were the first to come. They arrived one day before the Feng family who were still in Alice's home town to attend her half brother's wedding. Ann asked them to stay with her. They asked Kenichi to meet them in private in that very night without bringing Cacha with him.

Grandma Anderson put a small wooden old wooden box on the table "Open it"

"What is it ?" Kenichi held the box. His first impression was he did not like the box, it was too old fashion. He opened it and smirked. Inside, it was an out of date ruby ring with small diamond scattered around it.

"It's belong to me. Your paternal great grandma gave it to me when I married your grandpa. Use it when you propose to her"

"Why should I ?"

Grandpa smacked Kenichi shoulder "Your mother-in-law gave her jewellery to her sons when they proposed their wife as symbol of her blessing. In your case, It's unlikely for your mother to do the same. So, use this. It'd a blessing from us "

Grandma poked her husband hand. "What ?"

Grandma shook her head helplessly. Her husband was really clueless "your grandpa didn't mean to insult your mother"

Kenichi did not offense at all. What jis grandfather said about his mum was a fact "Mum and us are only one generation different. But this ring was from great grandma, It's really out of date. Any way, I have prepare my own ring"

"I don't care, you have to use it" Grandma was angry.

Ann was just arrived, She sat on the sofa and saw the ring. She picked it up and examine the ring "this ring only had big stone but has to style. Who's on earth will wear it nowdays ?"

She glanced at Kenichi "My dear cousin, don't tell me you're going to use it when you propose ?"

She did not see her grandparents angry face and continued "No..no.. It's an embarrassment. If I were Cacha, I would reject you. Also, Do you want to tell the world that Anderson family is poor and can't afford to buy good ring for their daughter in law ?"

"You !! How dare you !! ungrateful child" Grandma angryly stood up and went to her room.

"I'll deal with you later" grandpa followed his wife.

Ann was stupefied p"What did I do wrong ?"

Kenichi laughed "This is belong to Nana. Her mother in law gave it to her when she married Grand. They asked me to use this to propose"

He tapped her shoulder "Thank you for helping me to reject Nana idea. I need to go now" He put the ring back inside the box and put it on his jacket.

"Hey !! don't you suppose to help me back" Ann was dully aware that she was in trouble.

"Late on. I still have few important things to do"

"You ! Are you really my cousin ?"

"May be not"

Ann was dumpfounded. She was just back to her sense when the door was slammed. She stared at her grandparents room, She aborted idea to knock their door amd went to her room. It was better for her to hide from the elders for this time being. finger cross, They would forget the incident after they calmed down.

The next morning, Ann woke up with panda eyes. She did not sleep well last night. Just a matter of fact that her beloved grandmother complained to her mother last night. Of course her mother the called her soon after to lecture her for nearly an hour. It did not stop there, her father who rarely stuck his nose on family affair gave her a good half and hour long speech.

"Morning Nana, Grand" She had habbit to kiss the elder on the morning. However, the elder pushed her away. They gave her cold shoulder.

"Lets go now" grandpa stood up. He held grandma hand and dragged their suitcases.

"Where are you going ?"

"Staying my our grand daughter in law"

"Gosh.. Nana, Grand, I'm so sorry about last night. I don't mean it"

Her grand parents just ignored her and went away.

"Oh my God" She smacked her own head. She just discovered that the elders had very good temper.

She took her phone and dialed Cacha number.

"Morning miss" Cacha was with Kenichi, they were on her way to pick up her family.

"Tell your man, my dear belove lovely cousin to help me, Please..."

"what happen ?"

"Who is it ?" Kenichi could not help but asked when he saw Cacha confused took.

"Ann, she asked you to help him"

"Put on speaker phone"

"hey" As soon as she heard Kenichi voice, Ann started her plea "My dear cousin. I really can't live any longer. Surprisingly, out fanily reunited after last night incident. Now, I'm under attack from every direction"

"You made it sound worse than reality. My dad and uncle haven't made any move"

Ann bang her head on the table. Right, thanks my dear cousin for your friendly reminder.

"Four directions are more than enough. Please save me..."

Kenichi chuckled "deal with it" and turned off the phone.

Ann phone beeped. It was a message from her sister Bell 'Good luck my dear sister. You're really brave'

Ann was really hopeless. She subconsciously called a number "Kuro.. "

"What's happening ?" Cacha asked Kenichi as soon as he hung up.

"Ann made our grandparents angry last night. The elders was too childlish, not only complaining to her parent, they told the entire family" He knew because his father called him this morning to persuad him to go as the elder wish.

"I see. Do you really have no intention to help her ? She is your cousin"

He smiled "Don't worry. We'll talk to them when they calm down. They just move their luggage to the house that we rent. After seeing Mum and Dad, they will be in better mood"

"Make sense" Cacha was agree. There was no point to talk when they were still angry. They would not listen anyway.
