Skylars P.O.V
"RAVEN, ARE YOU DOWN HERE, RAVEN" I woke up trying to rub the sleep out of my eyes
"Shreya?, what's up?" I asked Shreya as I sat up
"oh I'm sorry for waking you, Raven isn't in her room, she's not in the house" she announced rather worried
"yeah she left the house at around three? is she not back yet?"
"no, did she say where she was going?" to this I shook my head, Shreya looked defeated
"alright I'm going to ring Zoya, see if she went home" she turned and left the room to go and speak to Raven's adopted mum. I looked around realising Arimas wasn't here I decided to go upstairs, go to the bathroom, have shower, then maybe go home dads probably thinking I'm lying in a ditch somewhere, so I went upstairs and did everything I needed to when I went back down it was ten in the morning, I had been upstairs for two hours. Shreya saw me
"she didn't go home" Shreya announced sitting at the table again looking defeated,
"don't worry, Shreya, she'll turn up, she can look after herself" I tried to convince her but she shook her head
"no, something isn't right, I can feel it, something wrong, I just need to figure out what it is" she got me thinking. I sat down on the chair opposite her and told her what had happened this morning before she left, I knew deep down Raven was happy for Arimas and I so what was that last night when I finished Shreya gasped then held my hand across the table
"I'm sorry, Sky, its not like her to do this, I know something is wrong, the spirits aren't back are they?" she asked hopeful I shook my head, Shreya groaned, thinking hard, "I tried to blink to her" she said in such a low voice I almost didn't hear her
"And?" I asked not really wanting to know by the look on her face she shrugged then went on to explain
"I couldn't" was all she said I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion she looked at me then sighed lowering her head "the fact I couldn't can mean two things, either she's very weak, and my powers can't get a signal on her whereabouts, or she's .... Dead" she said sounding so weak herself she whispered the last part again and shook her head I held her hands across the table to reassure her
"Maybe we should see Ruby, maybe she knows something, I mean they were together last night" I suggested she looked up at me and I could see her mind working through this
"That's a great idea" she said standing up so fast she knocked her chair over I was still holding her hand when she blinked to the woods.
Fairies were working everywhere some were in the trees picking fruit some were tending to injured animals Shreya was looking around
"Ruby, Ruby where are you?" She called, a very handsome looking fairy climbed down from a tree, he had green eyes which meant he was a nature fairy
"If you're looking for queen Ruby she's in the queen tree" he pointed to a big oak tree
"Queen fairy?" Shreya asked
"Yes she became queen last night after the previous queen died" he said looking upset
"I'm sorry for your loss" I told him to which he nodded
"Thank you" Shreya said before walking towards the tree I started to follow but was stopped by the fairy we had spoken too I raised an eyebrow at him
"I'm Xavier" he announced
"I'm taken" I said with a smile he nodded moving out of my way I caught up to Shreya just as she entered an opening in the queen tree we had to bow down a little to fit through we walked into a living room everything was wood all the furniture too there were flowers everywhere a fairy wearing a golden dress had her back to us as she watered a plant
"Ruby?" Shreya called the fairy turned and Shreya was right it was Ruby gone was the green dress she always wore her eyes were no longer green but gold woah was all I could think
"Shreya, Skylar come, come sit" she pointed to a setee, a wooden setee, it didn't look very comfortable but we went to sit none the less we sat down on the uncomfortable looking setee but it was very comfortable, "now what can I do for you?"
"It's about Raven, Ruby, she's different, changed and we need your help" Shreya said Ruby nodded "she said she defeated the darkness yesterday, were you there?"
"Oh yes, it was amazing, she said this spell, and the darkness vanished"
"What was the spell?"
"Oh I can't remember, but I can show you" Ruby stood we stood too "each of you hold my hands" we did I held my right hand to her left, and her right hand was held by Shreya's left hand she closed her eyes and we followed suite at first everything was dark when I shut my eyes then everything went white it was so white it blinding then I saw pictures as if I was watching t.v whilst changing the channels then my vision stopped I was in the woods and Raven was standing next to me.
