The gentleness with which the man said made Yun Meiyi forget everything from around. She simply stared into his eyes and nodded. Letting him hold onto her hand, she was about to turn to walk away, when suddenly Yun Ye Xuan spoke from behind. 

"Who are you? Were you invited here, Mister?" 

Yun Meiyi paused in her tracks as she slowly turned to look at her father with a frown. Intertwining her fingers with the man on her own accord, she stared for a while as she spoke, "Father, he has come here to pick me up. Since the party is already over, I don't think there is any need to check if he has an invitation."

Yun Ye Xuan's brows tugged in a frown. He stared at the man whose features were temptingly sharp for a moment before turning to look at his daughter to ask, "Yi Yi, let's talk later at home. It's getting late for the guests, so let's send them off first." He said and his tone sounded firm.
