16 Break-up happens when two people are in a relationship.

Yun Meiyi stared at her friend and pursed her lips. "Si Si, you have really learned well to keep things memorized. How do you even remember in your brain?" She asked, finding it really tough to keep so many things about other lives in one's memory.

But Liu Si Si simply shrugged her shoulders as if it was nothing. "It was not as tough as you think. You just have to set the person as your idol and then everything about that person would never leave your memories." She said and Yun Meiyi raised her brows at her words.

"Idol? Am I one to you?"

She asked and nodding her head profusely at her askance, Liu Si Si accepted. "Of course, you are my real-time idol. What made you think otherwise?"

Yun Meiyi couldn't control her chuckle. Laughing out, she shook her head to say, "Do you know the consequence of you taking me as an idol, Si Si. If even one of your fans would come to know about it, I wouldn't be able to take the upshot. Not to mention that you have millions on your fan list. And another thing, I really love my low-profile life. I won't want it to get messed up."

She said and Liu Si Si pouted her lips like a sullen kid who has been told by her mother that she won't be able to have her favorite chocolate anymore. "I know. That's why I have never told this in any of the variety shows ever."

"You did great. Thanks for saving my life otherwise I would have been dead even before that poison kills me?" On a whim, Yun Meiyi said it out loud, breaking into a chuckle. But her chuckle paused the moment she felt the oddness around her. Her eyes got closed as she bit her lips, avoiding the eyes that she knew were looking at her.

Liu Si Si had just returned to the country and she had not heard many things in detail. But there was something that she had heard and had deliberately ignored. But now that she has heard Meiyi saying something around the line, she could no longer show the same deliberation.

Her deep brown eyes grew big with suspicion as she asked, still in the tone that was carrying disbelief. "YiYi, I didn't hear them in detail. But were those people saying it right? What happened to you? Are you alright?"

Yun Meiyi opened her eyes and looked at the girl. Just a look at her face was enough to tell that she was already scared. For some reason, her heart warmed. At least at her funeral, there would be someone to shed genuine tears. As she thought of that, her lips tugged up in a smile as chuckling out, she looked down at herself to say, "Am I not looking alright? And what did you hear?"

"Yi Yi, I am not going to repeat what I heard from others. I just want to ask, if you are alright? Nothing is going to happen to you, right?"

Yun Meiyi smiled her way but then shrugging her shoulders, she said, "I don't know. As far as I have heard, breakups after betrayal are not that injurious. I might be able to survive it as long as I move on with the pace of my life."

She said and Liu Si Si rolled her eyes. "Please you can't even call it a breakup. Breakups happen when two people are in a relationship together. But in your case, it has been just that man. He was so full of himself that he never cared to see if you even existed around. So, there was no breakup at all."

Yun Meiyi's expression turned a bit saddened. But it was not because she missed Su Yang but because she felt like an idiot suddenly. Even the people around were able to see that there had been no relationship between them, yet she had always turned a blind eye to it.

When Liu Si Si suddenly noticed her expression like that, she felt that she had hurt her wounded emotions. Feeling guilty all of sudden, she reached out to caress the back of her hand and apologized. "YiYi, I am sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. I just said what I felt. Young Master Su never deserved you. If in place of him, it would have been any other guy, I would have prayed for him to regret losing you. But since it's him, I just wish that even his shadow doesn't fall on you again. May the Heavens keep him stuck with Yun Jiaqi for the rest of his life."

As she said that, Yun Meiyi couldn't prevent her lips from curving upwards. With those words, one thing was sure, Liu Si Si never liked Su Yang. "Really? If he was not the right one, then who do you think would be? Do you even know how many girls are eying Yun Jiaqi's position right now?"

"What's there to eye on?" Liu Si Si rolled her eyes. "Even in my weirdest situation, I won't suggest anyone choose him. His oppressive nature is just too much to take. He could hardly be suitable for anyone. As for you, believe me, he was not the one. You deserve a prince, one that princesses have in those fairytales. The one whose charms could easily challenge any soul of this universe and still remain unrivaled in the end."

When she heard that, Yun Meiyi would have burst into laughter again. But oddly her thoughts flashed with a certain face in her memories at the mention of the title prince. But then quickly, she shook it off as if she, herself, couldn't believe that it had happened.

Why would his face flash up in her mind? Not just once, but twice. First, it was in her dream, now even in reality.

Was this for real? Or has she been put into some spell cast where she was simply not able to forget him?
