Earlier when Yun Meiyi had woken up in the morning, she had heard the doorbell ring. Opening the door, she was greeted by no other but a woman who claimed to be the manager of Liu Si Si.

When Liu Si Si saw Cheng Juan, her brows jutted as she scowled to ask, "What are you doing here? Didn't I say I am not coming back?"

"Liu Si Si, I wasn't able to reach you over the calls, so in the end, I have to come here. What do you think you are doing? You are not a child to pull tantrums like this. You better come with me, otherwise, I will make sure that you don't have the reputation to ever step out." Cheng Juan arrogantly threatened and at her words like that Yun Meiyi was quite impressed.

Her brows quirked up as she turned to look at Liu Si Si. And seeing her not at all surprised by her words, she could tell that this might not be the first time when her girl would have received a warning like this. It might have been regular, otherwise, there seemed no other reason to make the girl get all used to these threats.

Even if you threaten to kill me, I would just say kill me and then take my dead body to make those crazy commitments to be fulfilled. Because I am not going with you anywhere in my living form."

"Si Si, how dare you talk back to me like that? Have you forgotten that I am your manager and it's because of me that you are standing at this peak in your career? How can you gather your courage to stand this ungrateful in front of me?" Chen Juan said in a domineering tone and Liu Si Si just rolled her eyes at her attitude.

As far as I remember every script you bring for me is not reliable, it's always my acting skills and the support of my fans that bring me to success. Otherwise, with you, I would have been kicked out from the industry a way before." Liu Si Si said and her words were enough to test the small patience Chen Juan had come here with.

"You …" Opening her mouth, the manager was about to lash out but before she could even speak anything, Liu Si Si snapped to say in a sterner tone.

Yun Meiyi looked at the girl and she could clearly see her puppy tail wagging to gain her favor. Internally shaking her head at her, she asked, "What? Is there something I could help with?"

Liu Si Si would have nodded at the very instance, but right at that moment, Cheng Juan spoke with a hubristic voice. "Who are you to meddle in this? Do you think you can help her? This is something related to Feathering Heights and I am her boss there. She would have to do what I say to her. And no one can help her in this."
