Odin At the Fae Court

I was walking through the thrones of the Fae Court, my body ached with pain from seeing what had just transpired only a while ago. Never mind that I had also been fighting a war on another front, just as I normally do.

War was in my blood. War was all I knew.

However, this war—it felt different. In fact, it was entirely different.

Whatever Elizabeth had been hiding and then scheming from us all these centuries ago, it was at a precipice, just waiting to explode and flood the world with her reign of Darkness.

However, to stop her, I needed assistance from multiple people.

Brittany was one. The Fae Queen was the other.

Only the Fae Queen knew of Brittany’s heritage. Only she knew what was truly capable of, and what she could become.

If the Valkyries were going to stop her, I needed Brittany.

Honestly, it was now or never.
