1 Chapter One

18 year old Tyler Killinger had stumbled upon a house on the edge of his territory, you could say he new everyone in his pack but that would be a lie. He was new to it all since the former alpha, his father died tragically in war. He opens the front door seeing as though the house had been destroyed, he heard a faint whimper coming from the room down the hall. He had made his way down it slowly opening the door to see it hasn't been touched everything was a rose gold color.

A wonderful sent of vanilla and lavender swirled together hit his nose making his wolf perk up. He had gotten curious of the sounds of whimper that had came from the corner of the room. In the corner there sits a child no older than 6 years old curled into a ball crying. He walks closer kneeling in front of the scared child, she whimpers curling more into herself as she starts to sob louder.

"No, don't cry." he calmly says, he gets closer to her gently picking her.

They both gasp as shocks run through their bodies.

"Mate," he finally whispers.

"W..where is m..my mommy and daddy?" The sweet angle ask.

"I don't know, baby," the scary alpha reply to her.

It saddens him that she won't know who he truly is to her till she is 16 years old. He carries the young child out of the house and down the path to the pack house. As soon as he enters the house the laughter dies down to a silence. No one dares speaks or laughs maybe not even breath.

"I need a doctor," Their alpha shouts, causing everyone to flinch, what shocked him the most was his mate had not flinched once when he had used his alpha tone.

He looked down at her admiring her brown curls that shaped her beautiful face, or how her soft brown eyes looked at him with such trust. That is when the alpha knew that he was wrapped around her small chubby finger. She had caught the alpha's heart without even knowing it. He knew deep down that no one could know that this gorgeous angel was his luna. A permit frown was set on his face as he thought the danger he could bring down on this small child.

Soon the alpha felt a hand touch his shoulder slowly breaking his gaze with hie beloved mate. His head snaps up as a powerful growl rumbles through his chest. His eyes meet the gaze of the pack doctor Renee, her head bowed,showing her neck saying she means no harm. He nods before walking into the living room setting his mate on the big couch making her look even smaller than she is.

"You need to check over her, make there is nothing wrong with her. Harm her and I'll kill you," He says roughly to Renee.

His harshness makes Renee's wolf whimper from her alpha's threat. Alpha Killinger looks behind him to see every pack member in the house staring at them intensely. He looks down to his mate seeing the fear in her eyes as everyone in the room is looking at the small child. This makes Alpha Killinger very mad, he looks back to his pack as a loud growl echo's through the halls. Everyone in the room falls to their knees and tilts their heads showing submission.

"I want you all to continue your pack duties, leave this house now," he commands loudly, everyone quickly scurries off.

He kneels next to the poor girl grabbing her hand trying to help calm her nerves. He plans to wait till she is 16 years old before he makes his move. He knows she is a child and is willing to wait 10 years for her.

"Max I want you to look up everything you know about the little house on the boarder," he says in the mind link to his third in command.

"Yes, Alpha ," Max said before his alpha cut the link off.

Alpha Killinger runs his fingers through his mates hair as the doctor examines her fragile body. The doctor pulls back taking her gloves off throwing them in the trash.

"She is smaller than normal, has a broken rib and bruises on her chest, back, and stomach. Also, she is very dehydrated, with cuts running down her legs. What I have come across is that her wolf will be omega when she shift. All cuts are small should heal with in a week or two. The broken rib will heal its self, now she shouldn't walk or play for about a month all together. She will need someone to watch her 24 hours a day and need to eat also drink a lot of water. In a month I would like to see her again to determine what happens further. " Doctor renee examples to the alpha.

"Ok, thank you," the alpha replies, shocking the doctor.

The doctor gives a nod before gathering her stuff, giving the alpha a nod of respect before walking out the door. Alpha picks up the child who is shivering from the lack of clothing covering her body. He walks over to the elevator they had in the house, he gets in pressing the number 6 which is the pent house for the alpha. It dings signaling that they have reached their floor.

The alpha steps out walking down the hall to his door pressing his finger against the fingerprint lock. The door makes a clicking sound, the alpha walks in turning on the lights. He walks to his bathroom, its pretty big because the alpha and mate will share it. Has a separate shower and bath also two sinks for when he meets his luna. He walks over to the big tub turning it on.

"Im gonna give you a bath then you are gonna eat, ok?" he speaks softly to the girl.

"Yes, Alpha." She says so softly that if he wasn't a wolf he probably wouldn't have heard her.

"What's your name?"

"I'm um Violet."

"violet."

He thinks to himself such a beautiful name for a beautiful girl. He gives her a bath letting the blood and dirt run off her body, washing her hair making it smell fresh and clean. He drys her off then putting one of his shirts on her. He smiles out how big it is on her it falls to the floor and almost falls off her body. He quickly looks through his closet before he comes across a small shirt that was from when he was a child. He puts it on her still a little big on her but will do.

He puts bandaids on her cuts and picks her up gently taking her to the kitchen. He gives her food and water watching the small girl eat almost half the planet of food. Her eyes start to fall shut indicating that she's getting tired. The alpha carries her to his room laying her in his bed tucking her in. Shutting off the light and beginning to leave the alpha hears a whimper.

"Please don't go." A small voice says.

The alpha quickly lays in bad with the small child as she crawls into his chest curling up into him. Her breath slowing down showing she is falling asleep. The alpha mind links a pack member to get her stuff before his eyes start to fall shut making him fall asleep with a smile on his face.
