Two Man in a Restaurant

"So, what we gonna do?"

Avia was asking Arceede while eating in a restaurant. This was night time real-life and they had dinner too, but now both of them had a conversation with foods in front of them.

"Actually, I wanted to meet my friends here."

Swiljar city was like any city in the real-life. The atmosphere and fashion were not that significantly different.

Even the waitress in this restaurant was wearing a suit. Although, some of them was persons with pointy ears or persons with fur all in their body.

"Let's just enjoy the atmosphere then."

Avia was still eating his food while enjoying music performed in the restaurant.

"How about you?"

"Well, I can go to auction houses or some sort, but no need to rush."

The noticeable difference compared to the real-life other than the various unique races were people equipped with weapons walking along the street.

"Hmm, how about your friend?"

Arceede was asking the question with a heavy heart. He noticed Avia's expression changed earlier regarding friends but decided to ask him nonetheless.

The expected response is shown by Avia. He lowered his gaze and not answering directly.

"I am sorry about the question, but I just want to make sure. And don't worry, you will get 3 new friends later too."

"What do you mean.. What were you apologizing for?"

Arceede was direct and Avia was like eating tasteless food now.

"It's just that if you have some friends, I will need to take some time to socialize and you better help me with that."

"Well, you don't need to worry about that then."

The atmosphere was started to become gloomy now. The music performed by the band also supported it.

The two humans have visited some stores and changed their plain brown clothes from the village.

Arceede was wearing the cloak he bought from a hunting store. The outer layer was black while the inner clothes were colored blue. If he wore his hoodie, combined with long black trousers, he could be mistaken as someone suspicious.

On the other hand, Avia was wearing somehow formal clothes.

He wore a collared white clothes and long trousers. Normal clothes for workers in real-life.

From afar they could be mistaken as someone from a company who wanted to make a shady deal. Fortunately, Arceede was not wearing his hoodie and it would lessen the sentiment.

"Have you visited adventurer guild?" Avia was breaking the silence.

"Yeah, I get some good grasp about it."

"Tell me."

The discussion started with a normal atmosphere now. Coincidentally, the music followed suit.

"I think, the adventurer will not be that much different than the civilian."

"Hm?"

"You know, only high level AI that can give us quests. For example, is the mentor who gave us path and class."

Nod.

Avia has finished his food and listening attentively.

"We will endlessly grind bounty quest from the adventurer guild. We can spam the dungeons like in the previous game, but, it will be less effective."

"Oke, I got your point."

"More than that, we will also be assigned with rank and can be called as 'Ranker'."

"Hmm.. yes. For the civilian, I will become ranker too once I finished the exam."

"True, you will start at Rank D, right?"

Nod.

"Adventurer will start at Rank F and goes on. I am not officially applied to it, but I should be at Rank F now."

"I see. Are you done?"

"Yeah, regarding the adventurer guild, I think it's enough."

Now Avia started to share the information he got.

"Civilians can be diverse."

"What do you mean?"

"I can apply to another class within the same path. I can guarantee it. I still don't have enough information regarding class from another path, but civilians potentially have more than 1 class."

Arceede was raising his eyebrow upon hearing that information.

"Continue."

He did not get the point stated by Avia.

"Okay, within me for example, I am under [Linker] now. For sure, I can apply as a designer, merchant, manager, or any other classes under the [Linker]."

"I know, but what is the advantage?"

"Hm? The adventurer is a path where you will be with that class and advance further with that class only and the exploration and experience were from the battle and bounty they got, right?

"Yeah, so?"

"My point is that civilians will get the same portion. Civilians' exploration will be from many classes we can pick. Civilians have high pessimism since this game was based on MMORPG, you know?"

"Hm.. so, it will give them advantages over the adventurer?"

"Yup, that's what I mean. The information will be a strong foundation for the civilians' community. We promote the game to the experts, you know."

"Ah, I know. I see the promotion in the forum."

"Haha, the minority is always like that, right? Small but solid."

"Yeah, can't deny the fact. But, I have something that tickled me."

"Hm? What is it?"

Arceede was adjusting his sitting position. He put his hand together under his chin before continuing his talk.

"Do you forgot who you are talking to?"

"Hm?"

Avia was tilting his head hearing the question. He raised his eyebrow out of confusion.

"I've shown you my civilian skill, right?"

Avia opened his eyes widely. He squeezed his forehead and processed the statement.

"Ugh, it will ruin the community once it opened then?"

The glasses guy was in a gloomy mood now. He wanted a reassuring answer from his companion.

"Maybe yes, maybe not. You should prepare a speech for it then."

"Can you give me some pointer? I can't think clearly now."

Avia was concerned a lot with the community he joined in. In this game, only two places that accepted him dearly now, and one of them was the civilian community.

"You should prepare something like adventurer will be a single class that advances stronger as you said earlier. Civilians with many classes to explore. And prepare something for the inventor."

"I know, how about the inventor?"

"You can say that inventor will be the intersection of it. You know what, I can choose to commit as a full job transmuter or transfuser."

"But, that will make that class the most popular to choose, right?"

"Nah, you shall tell the demerit too. I am pretty sure that the dev will explain it. And also, no one knows when will it open."

With that, he ended the explanation with a darkened expression.
