"Ugh! This is annoying. I am too early for this. I take back my words! I was really unlucky!"

Hours passed. Now, he didn't know if he could kill this Big Boar.

He was also in a secluded place now. No one around him. Not even a single player on his sight.

'This unique boar, I knew I am lucky to meet a unique monster as soon as I go hunting. But it is too much. I am just a Lvl 2 with not even a single skill.'

For now, he was just running and dodging the boar attack. He has been grumbled endlessly on his mind while running away from the boar.

'Why did they change the appraisal stuff! If I knew its current HP, I will be able to face it strategically.'

The previous game always had the current enemy or mob health bar around them. So, the player would be able to know if the current enemy they face was close to dying or not.

The game still had the separate appraisal skills for further detailed stats on the mobs, but basic stats such as mobs' current HP are what reassured the player of the current hunt.

And now, in this new series, only the name and their rarity are shown. Based on the information he got from his mentor, Foreln, he needed appraisal stones and stuff to knew things such as mobs' current health.

The best thing about his current hunt now was that he was already in the forest and able to dodged easily around the trees. And on top of that, all mobs around him didn't even attack him.

'Maybe they are afraid of the boar.' That's what he thought. It was a reasonable conclusion based on the current condition.

There were packs of wolves. The current nightmare in the current state of the game. They were just staring at his battle with the boar.

Now, he could exchange attacks with it while hiding around the trees. He was also able to recover energy and take some rest.

'Now, there is still hope.'

He had some minutes to make his mind clear. For now, some options appeared in his vision.

'Ah.. should I aggro the wolves? It is a high-risk option for me. If the wolves only attack me and just ignoring the boar.. that would be a disaster.'

While he was deep in thought, the boar's roar startled him.

'No crap! Will it run away!?'

He would be so frustrated if it was really run away now. He has maintained the aggro perfectly for a long time, and it seems like he didn't miss the timing at all.

'Is it because it is a unique monster or the new game change the mechanic? Ugh, I am really naive.'

The wolves flinched and stared at him deeply. One of them howled and followed by the others. They rushed to his directions.

The current crossbowman rushed in the boar's direction. In his state of mind, he would chase the boar while bringing the pack of wolves.

The boar wasn't running away. It stands still while focusing its gaze on his direction.

In his current perspective, it looked like the boar has a smirk on its face.

'Damn, am I being toyed?'

A pack of wolves still rushed to him but he couldn't escape that easily. The boar had some nasty shockwave area attack and he did not dare to move abruptly.

For now, he was just standing still while staring at the boar in front of him. He observed the direction of the pig's eyes. And in a second after he confirmed that the boar's eyes were focusing on the rushing wolves' direction, he started to run. Not to the left or right to avoid the confrontation, but he rushed to the boar's direction.

By his current action, the boar was startled and roaring at him. It emitted a shockwave around its body.

He had already at its side while the shockwave emitted. He lost some of his HP and pushed a few meters.

He received some damage but he had a smile on his face.

'It should be the simplest and best approach.'

He looked in the boar's direction. Now, the wolves aggroed to the boar because of the shockwaves attack also hit them.

The monsters clashed. The wolves' style of combat amazed him. The coordination was great, no wonder the players were so scared by them.

Now, the boar was really in a pinch. It just let out a cry of agony. Its best attack while surrounded was just the shockwaves. It started to run away while charging at the surrounding wolves. It was able to knock one or two of them, but it was already bitten by several wolves in a lot of parts of its body.

5 of them still continuously attacked it, the two knocked also able to stand up and join the attack.

Below trees' shade not far from them. A human was aiming his crossbow in the boar's direction. His focus was at its peak.

He was not that calm, he had a frown on his face. He still grumbled in this situation while focusing on the clash.

"Ugh! If I know its current HP.. I'll be able to kill-stealing it surely and easily."

The shot from his crossbow flew to the boar's direction. It was straight to its eye. Critical damage! that's the additional damage by hitting the target's vital or weak point.

The boar let out a devastating cry, it was different than any cry from before.

"Yes! Perfect! My touch is still as sharp as ever." He let out his feeling from his mind.

He heard a series of notification, but it was not the right time for celebrating.

The wolves who lose their prey switched their killing intents in a certain direction.

Howl!

"Come! as long as it just the 7 of you, I am ready fo-"
