30 CHAPTER 30: ANGEL AND DEVIL

Taylor rummaged through his memory for an answer to his mother's request.

'We will give you our Fantasy world ID, send us a friend request after going to the Fantasy World. By adding us, you can share your location with us. We will come and fetch you from that cave.'

He needs to give them a surety that he will be safe.

Even though Fantasy World was believed to be a game two days before, now after the launch entering the game, most people realized the changes it is gonna bring to the world.

Economy, warfare, productivity, and even the lifeline of both the world got intertwined after the launch. Both the world's basic perception of everything is gonna change. Science and Technology, with the magic's addition gonna reach a new bound. As a big upper echelon household, they had to be a step ahead than others. So their family thought kids being under them is safe, and made a decision to go where they are. To form a big party.

'In the past, they left me be free, and play as I see fit. Why now things took this turn?'

Then Taylor's eyes lit up. It's because of his dream. In the past timeline, he was a rogue. But in this timeline, he was a poor kid that had a terrible nightmare and lived his life in solitude. So his family is taking extra care of him.

Taylor felt warmth in understanding his family's love for him. However, he can't forever be under their protection. In the past, he lost them, now he wants to be the person that protects them.

The people here are his family, that he lost one time, he can't lose them again. He can't make a butterfly effect too.

God's blood.

There were two great lineages from the older days of the heavens. It's a myth but true. That is the angel and the devil lineages. The angel walks on the path of light, while devils of the path of darkness.

It is no good or bad, between them, it's just they walk on a different path to godhood. But during that journey, some of them of both the families got degenerated and became demons under the influence of demonic magic, as for who started it all Taylor doesn't know and can't be sure of how this demonic magic entered the heavens that were sacred.

However, he remembers some things he heard in the past, that, endless wars took place after the demonic being, entry into heaven. That war continued for countless years. But the Angel and Devil lineages got weaker as the war extended and at last, they got defeated. And many of the pureblood lineages of Angels and Devils left heaven and they spread throughout the universe. These are things that happened several million decades ago.

The demonic army got stronger and stronger as it destroyed plenty of planets and devoured them.

As for the Angel and Devil lineages, their bloodline got thinner as decades pass and as cross alliance occurs with different lineages. While some of the lineages had still consisted of some heritage pure blood.

The angels and Devil lineage doesn't only consist of humans. It consists of dragons, elf, orc, and many other lineages. They are spread around every planet, which Taylor came to know from the past.

Taylor's family is one of those families that maintain pure blood among humans. But they lost lots of their secret arts and heritage from the past and they themselves only will find about it in the future.

Taylor's maternal family is of the Devil lineage while his father is from Angel lineage.

Edward's family is also a Devil lineage.

The reason for Taylor and Edward's families taking espionage and assassination as a profession is because of their affinity with the Devil power, darkness.

As for his father's family details, Taylor doesn't know a thing.

Usually, on these type of inter lineage union, the kid born either gets the power of light or the darkness. But Taylor is unique, he got both the Angel and Devil's power. That means, he has both light and darkness within him. That is also the reason, why he couldn't cultivate qi. Both these power are repelling each other.

Nevertheless, he stumbled upon a God shrine on Fantasy World in the past and got a cultivation art that he could cultivate with the help of God's blood. And with that as hope, he dug through every nook and corner of Fantasy World for the God's blood. That is also the reason he didn't look at the happenings around him.

Thinking through everything, Taylor said,

Finishing his cooked up story with some truth as seasonings, Taylor looked up for their reactions.

But he became speechless on seeing their reaction. It was not the response he expected.

Taylor's father talked sarcastically,

"Yes, I'm from Angels lineage and your mother's family is from Devil's lineage, we can accept that. We were planning to say about that to you today. But you found out, yourself. But still, for you to say such an old story, it's so much of a repetition."

His grandfather also nodded his head,

"I agree with Richard on this one. When I was a little kid, in every novel I read, this is said by every protagonist to hide something. A master shield. That is three generations old idea."

Taylor's face got beet red.

'They didn't believe me at all, but im saying the truth. We are from Angel and Devil lineage'

Edward, who was beside Taylor said,

"Boss. You could have said the same story you said to me, upstairs. That would have been more believable"

Hearing that Taylor's mother asked curiously,

"What is that Eddy?"

Edward said as he looked at everyone,

"Boss said that he is from the future."

Upon that, everyone gave a weird look first, but then nodded their heads uniformly,

"Yep. That would have been a better excuse."
