26 CHAPTER 26: THE PAST AND THE PRESENT

The Red Mountain Forest is one of the biggest forests in the Fantasy World. It is marked as the third-largest forest of Fantasy World. it is a dangerous place for the weak and gold mine for the strong.

In this large forest, not too close to the place were civilized people's lives or not too deeper into the powerful beasts habitat, there is a dark cave. Around the cave, for about ten kilometres you can't see a single beast other than the greeny jungle. It has been an abandoned place for half a day. Because of a powerful beast aura that came from the cave. However, the beasts that abandoned their place didn't know that the powerful beast they feared is already a cold corpse.

A melody whistle passed through this eerily quiet environment from the depth of the cave. If one entered this cave they would breathe in a thick metallic blood smell that is wafting throughout the cave.

At the centre part of this cave, in the complete darkness, four golden lights could be seen at equal distance. In front of that light is a long silver purple mixture snake carcass without its head. A long sword is pinned down on it. The sword is held by the right hand of a young man. The other hand of the young man is matching the rhythm of the whistle. He is drumming on the snake while swinging his legs. But his head is bent back and his eyes are staring at the cave top.

"Why am I here?"

The youth is Taylor. And he just remembered his past or to say his future memory. But they are broken pieces. And it's horribly broken. If you ask how much broken, then it's terrific. He only knows the beginning and somethings happend before the climax of that timeline. He doesn't know why he came here or how. Everything became an unfathomable puzzle.

Taylor formed every ounce of information he has in order,

"I travelled back in time. I have some memories of some incidents that happened after the launch of Fantasy World in my previous timeline. I have memories of people closer to me dying one after another in that timeline and that was horrible, I only have endless regret about those tragedies but not why it happened in the first place. I can't fathom how powerful were the enemies that killed them. I know that I was searching for a thing when the first war took place between the Fantasy World and Demons. And I have a great curse due to the same gift I got both in my previous timeline and now 'the cloning ticket'. If both my avatars die and that's my end in Fantasy World. I can't enter the Fantasy World again unless I bring my true body here. Furthermore, the reason I awakened now is because of that. My original plan or the plan of the person that sent me back is to awaken my memories after my current self reached level 50. But to save the current me, I broke the seal. Damn, why is my current self so hopeless. So as I broke the seal all my memories got shattered. This weak soul can't handle all my memories."

"Positive thing about this is, in my last timeline, I took three month's time by the Fantasy World time to reach level 10, that too because I'm a game maniac in my past life and I entered fantasy world only after a month from its launch. But now I reached it within three days. And from the current me's memory, I knew that he learned all martial arts I practised in my timeline. So I can wield it easily. And the most intriguing information is that 'God's Blood', that was the thing I searched all over the Fantasy World in my past. I got it for free now. I also have the warblade that travelled with me all my life."

"Now for the negative things, I lost my memory, I don't know why I rushed back in time. I even forgot that women's voice in my heart 'i believe in you'. Is she pretty?. As for as I can remember in my past timeline I wasn't a good guy. The current me is the polar opposite of me. I was a rogue and a playboy. The current me got hooked up with the dream space and suffered, but the old me was Freebird with no knots. So why would I be believed by a girl and the most important thing is why do I feel pained as I couldn't remember her. Then comes the final problem, the last thing I remembered about my past timeline is, I was controlling a massive army of different races to a war. What happened in that war?"

Then Taylor leaned forward and looked the snakeheads in front of him,

"After all these problems, I have now created several big butterfly effect. I saved a boy that should have died in Rosewood villages farm field, Trion. I killed a creature that would destroy, ten villages around this forest region. Is it time to be happy for saving thousands of lives or to be sad, what chain reaction this would cause"

"Causes and Effects, whatever"

Saying that to himself, Taylor kicked his legs on the snake body, and using that momentum, he jumped forward while holding his warblade. Blood spurted out of the snake body and made an arc in the air.

SWISH…

In the air, Taylor made two swings and sheathed his warblade as he landed.

SLASH...

It was an elegant movement.

Ting…

Both the snake's heads got split into two halves. And a crystal fell out of the silver head.

Taylor bent down and took the crystal.

"Damn, as always, my luck is bad. I got only the illusion crystal. But it will be helpful"

As per Taylor's memory, this very snake used its illusion and toxic power to massacre thousands of people. But now he only got illusion crystal. The purple head didn't produce the toxic crystal.

"That's to be expected if the toxic head was powerful I would have been poisoned to death."

"Still asking for two crystal isn't too much, when I have to kill a beast that is, too much op than me. God is not fair"

Taylor pouted while playing with the crystal, then he stored the snakeheads in the inventory with the crystal and walked back to the body of the snake and started to dismember it with a cutting knife from his inventory. He expertly did it and stored it all without wasting anything. He bottled the snake blood in a canteen.

If Edward looked at Taylor's action, he would be saddened beyond words. As he always boosted as God of dismembering the corpse.

Looking at the empty cave he said,

"Excellently done"

Then he turned to the cave entrance that was previously guarded by the snake, his interest was piqued.

"What is inside that tunnel?"

Taylor shook his head,

'Nope'

"Now its time to the Other World."

Roar…

Hearing the roar, Taylor jolted,

"Damn, that psycho monkey"
