2 CHAPTER 2: TAYLOR

" So the launch is about to start" saying that Taylor leaned back and placed his legs on the table before him and looked at the sky. He knows that his parents are concerned about him since he was a kid. Even though they didn't say it aloud. But he still could see the concern from their face.

The reason for his two different personality behavior is his secret. Everything started on his 5th birthday. When he went to school that day, there was a transfer student in his class.

'I should have taken leave that day, if I did that, I wouldn't have gotten into such a mess.'

The transfer student was a girl with all the mystery she needs to fit in that role. Because she has pure white hair and sky blue eyes. Totally mystery. But she was cute.

" This is Jessica. From today onwards she will be your classmate. Welcome her" said the teacher towards the students.

" Introduce yourself," she said turning to the transfer student named Jessica.

As the homeroom teacher introduced the girl, Taylor's eye never left Jessica. Because his heart is beating wildly looking at her. It's was unfathomable but he couldn't take his eyes off her.

'Who is she?'

" Hi, I'm Jessica. Please take care of me "

After her introduction, the new girl came and sat right beside his table on his right-hand side as it was empty, and yet he was only looking at her. He doesn't pay attention to the teacher and only had eyes for the girl, he even forgot to blink.

Due to his continuous stare, the girl turned towards him and smiled at him. Looking at that pretty smile, he felt like flying in the sky with a jolt in his heart.

However, reality struck him as a duster knocked him down with a hit.

Bang...

He knew now why she smiled at him. His teacher called him several times but he didn't respond to her, so that was the reason, why the duster was sent to wake him up. Later then he became an 'outstanding' student as he stood outside the class for the whole class. 'How much the world advances but punishments never change' that was his thought standing there.

After the class, he came to know her name is Jessica, that she joined late due to some special circumstances from a fat guy alias fatty that had a big mouth and beady eyes. He was his best friend. His name is Edward.

" Why are you staring at her like that boss? "

asked Edward.

" Fatty this is something a kid like you wouldn't understand "

said Taylor as he walked towards Jessica and introduced himself.

" Hi, I'm Taylor. Nice to meet you. I'm your senior, you can ask me anything you want "

"Hi. Can we be friends ?"

Asked Jessica. That came out of the blue for Taylor. Jessica's words kept on ringing on his head. He accepted it right away with a handshake.

'Her voice is making my heart beat faster'

" Me too" came in fatty Edward running but the poor guy slipped and hit the floor.

Seeing his acrobatics Taylor and Jessica started to laugh. Not knowing the reason, Edward too joined in their laugh while scathing his head in confusion.

So the three of them started as good friends. That day went well until Taylor had a crazy dream that night.

In the dream, Taylor was in a huge hall in which both sides are lined with large white chairs which are made of materials like marbles but not.

In the center of that huge hall was a big throne with a scepter made of some unidentified crystal.,' Sceptre is calling me', When he tried to move towards the throne to take the scepter, the surrounding changed suddenly to where a lot of people were sitting around and having a happy chat, 'like a party'. He thought. But his heart ached to look at those happy moments. He couldn't understand.

The next day he said those dreams to his mother. She said it was just a dream it will go away. So he to didn't care about the dreams and went to school.

The school went the same but things change as there are three people standing outside the class now due to constantly talking in the class. Even though they are standing out they still laughed and looked happy like idiots. The '3 idiots' are Taylor, Jessica, and Edward.

Days went on, like that with happy memories for two years. So did the three people, they also grew as their friendship did. They existed an inseparable bond between the three of them.

The day came for Taylor's 7th birthday.

The day before Taylor's birthday the three of them chatted during the break in the garden at the school.

"Tomorrow is my birthday so there is a party at my home. You guys have to come" said Taylor, while thinking 'especially you, Jessica'.

" Of course boss, I will definitely come, we are Bros," said Edward.

' You dumbass, still a kid' scolded Taylor looking at Edward. But he forgot that he is still a kid. Due to his dreams, he thought of himself as a mature person. To be more precise he acted like a mature person too.

" I will come, Taylor. What gift do you want from me? " asked Jessica.

" To be always with you, forever" answered Taylor with a shy face. And saying that he reached out his hands with a smile toward Jessica.

Jessica also smiled looking at his smile and held his hands.

"I will be always with you. Forever."

' with you forever' kept on ringing in his ears, like it was a slogan.

" Me too". Came Fatty...

'GROW UP PLEASE, will you'

The next day around 7 am he woke up from his bed, to be greeted by a gift from his mother. It was a PlayStation which he kept on nagging his mother. As his father often went abroad for his job. Well, he doesn't know why a lawyer often travels to different countries. So he was close to his mom than the dad that is always out of town.

" Thanks, mom, for the gift. I love you," he said hugging the game box.

Bang.

Taylor got a hit from his mother in the head forming a bump.

"Ouch. Why did you hit me, mom?"

" I bought you the gift, but you are hugging the gift. Not me. You materialistic son" said his mother with an annoyed look...

He ran to her while rubbing his head and hugged her legs since he was only 7yrs and said,

" Sorry mom, thank you."

He was so happy that he wanted to play the game right away. But since he had to go to school, he went with great unwillingness, 'once I reach home after school, I have to unbox it immediately.' haha...

He reached the school with a foolish smile to himself. ' With Jessica and fatty coming to the party it's gonna be fun, we will play my ps6'.

But the reality is always harsh than our expectations. The news hit him like a thunderbolt, from the mouth of his homeroom teacher,

" Jessica went to her native country due to some emergency and won't be coming back"

Taylor was shocked not because he felt like the heart is broken with a booming sound. But because he heard the same sound from different places in the class and was shocked to hear the crying sound of two boys. And so he marked those two boys, ' Jessica is my girl. Why the duck are you guys crying? ' as he looked at them, he came to a realization. ' these guys have never even talked with her,. Is this the legendary one-sided love, man ahh'...

Taylor shakes his head and looked to his side, Edward was looking at him with a teary eye. 'don't tell me, he too'.

" Boss, sister-in-law left".

' Thank god he isn't.' thought Taylor.

" Don't worry fatty she will definitely come back."

That was he said, he restrained himself from crying, however, inside his head, he was in mess 'How could she leave me., Without even saying anything. That too. After making that promise to me yesterday. I will find her... Ahhh, I hate her. I hate you, JESSICA, I hate all girls.'.....

There were two drops of tears running down from his eyes, but he used his hands to wipe it before anyone could see it.

Taylor declared toward Edward,

"Fatty, I for you, you for me..."
