16 CHAPTER 16: CRISIS ARISE
When the wolf tried to get up, Taylor dashed towards the wound made by Edward and used his fist arts.

A white hue started to appear on Taylor's fist as the mana bar below his health bar started to reduce. And he moved back after the attack as Wolf bit towards him, aiming his head.

Hearing that Edward threw his left-hand dagger toward Taylor and strode to attack the Wolf.
Noticing that Edward was going to attack it, Wolf veered around towards Edward.

In that time Taylor who caught the dagger thrown to him by Edward used his movement technique and moved toward Wolf's wounded side. As Taylor willed for the mana white hue covered the dagger's blade. Upon the sudden blow in its gut, the Wolf howled and let out its last of breathing with its health bar hitting zero.

On the way to the village, a lot of people left in groups passing over them toward the forest. And even among those some people approached them and asked about the situation in the forest. As Taylor explained the situation some walked back while others went towards the forest.
He only helped them by revealing some details, because he didn't want people to meet an unnecessary death.
When both Taylor and Edward neared the village, they saw a lot of commotion around the village. Lots of people are standing in the village entrance like mobs. And the village head could be seen announcing about something. As they reached the crowd they could hear what he was saying.,
" Everyone should have heard the fighting sounds of beasts, that happened in the forest. They are both believed to be level 10 beasts. Because of the battle of level 10 beast, lots of beasts around from level 4 to level 7 ran away to the outer reaches of the forests. So from level 3 to level 6 now roam near the forest edges and attacks all the nearby three villages including us. We on behalf of Rosewood village will move to confront them, the Rangers from the other world fight with us. "
Hearing that everyone started to panic. Some started to disappear. Some started to discuss in a serious manner.
The village head said again with grief in his eyes,
"Those who wish to join in the fight against the beasts, come forward and register to me. Once the battle is over, people will be rewarded according to their contribution."

However, all Taylor could feel from the village head was a plea with the need for help.

' Well, there is a reward. But even still there is danger too. And if the village loses people or gets destroyed, then there won't be any reward and supplies until we reach level 10. So no other way out of this. But I need information about the beasts first. '
Thinking through this Taylor said to Edward,
" I think it's best to join the fight. What do you think? "
Since Edward was also involved in the decision, Taylor asked Edward's suggestion.
Upon which Edward said,
" I also think it's good to join them. As variables like today will happen."

After discussing their plan they didn't go straight away to enrol with the village head. Instead, they entered the village to sell the beast materials and get new weapons.
Taylor and Edward are noobs to the games. So even though they got theoretical knowledge, they aren't practical. They don't know about the powers of equipment. If they knew that, they wouldn't have paid so dearly for hunting the wolf. If they have a stronger weapon they could have won the Wolf easily. They won't need to fight desperately.

Taylor had a shiver run through his spine.

The villages shop
" Hello brave Rangers, have you returned from your hunt," asked Rachael, the owner of the shop. She is around her 20's and had a beautiful face. Well, actually everyone in the Fantasy World had beautiful looks, 'side effects of world update'.

Hearing that both of them came to realize the reason for the shop emptiness.
And for the people going to the forest desperately.
