13 CHAPTER 13: GATHERING INFORMATION
Taylor and Edward are shocked looking at the central square of Rosewood village.
When they saw that there is so much crowd from the time they left the village. They asked the person that stood beside them and came to know the full details. This is due to incidents happening on Nova.
There was information spreading about the Fantasy World on the internet now. ZEON reported on the internet that about 30 billion VR helmet and the Fantasy World data chips have been sold. And for a village in Fantasy World can accommodate about 5000 people, hearing such news everyone that had a tough choice making ability to enter or not, started to enter the Fantasy World.
Taylor guessed the motive,
'If this was a game then the quest will be unlimited as the mobs respawn again at certain intervals. But it is not. So the easy quest will be limited. As only the number of people appearing will keep on increasing. Level 1 player will need to do the level 2 quest.'
Then Taylor came up with a sudden idea. So he dragged Edward into the crowd and started to search for the village head.
After finally seeing the old man squeezed by the people of Nova. 'They are just quarreling like a fish market.' The village head is having a hard time standing there. Guards are trying their best to control the crowd.
Not caring about the commotion Taylor and Edward came before the village head and said,
"Village head, we have finished the quest you gave us. "
Hearing that the surrounding people became silent. Then the next second they start clamoring,
" hey we still have got our first quest"
" can you be humane and stand back. "
" just don't think about yourself."
Not caring about the commotion, Taylor repeated again staring at the village head,
" We have completed the quest"
Upon which a screen appeared before the village head,

As said before the people of Fantasy World have the leveling system of the Fantasy World. All actions that are taking place in the world are monitored by the world itself.
So the notification popped up before the village head as the system analyze and report.
The village head smiled and whispered 'yes'.
Upon which a screen appeared before Taylor and Edward,

They checked and they had got 100 copper coins, 1 healing potion.
'Healing potion is only low quality'
As the village head was about to say something, Taylor dragged Edward and walked away. Seeing them leave like that the village head became tongue-tied.
When being dragged by Taylor out of the village,
Edward asked,
"Boss. Where are we going? That old man had looked like a quest giver."
Taylor replied Edward,
"What we now need isn't a quest but information? "
And behind Edward, he saw Trion standing there with the same dress as other villagers, the rough beast skin clothing.
'Everyone in the village pretty much has the same species clothes of various colors, so it must be of some low-level beast.'
Trion stood there watching them Or to say more accurately following them.
Taylor had seen him when they went into the crowd to meet the village head. So he planned then, Trion will be his information bank.
'Even though I can only get little information from this kid, it's worth than talking to the not so friendly villagers.'
"I will give you the information, In return, you have to bring me along."
declared Trion even before Taylor asked for it. Since he heard what Taylor said to Edward even as he was away from them.
'Sharp hearing or is it some skill'
asserting to himself to be careful while conversing in the future, Taylor told with a stern voice,
"I can't bring you anywhere. I can't be babysitting you. Just give us information in exchange for saving your life"
Even though Trion wanted to ask them again to bring him along. But seeing at those 'not so happening' look Taylor gave, he sighed,
"Okay. I will repay the debt. "
Then as they talked, Taylor was shocked because he can't believe that a 14 years old kid, know this much information. After getting the information he wants, he came to know the reason this kid wants to leave the village. It is simple to get stronger, so he can protect the village.
Trion doesn't know the name of the Kingdom they are in.
The name of the county is Rosedeer county, and the demon infection started before 5 years in this county. But before that, the elites of the county went to fight for the protection of the kingdom. And so elites of the Roseeagle town were sent to fight for Rosedeer county. So the elites of Rosewood village went to protect the Roseeagle town. Finally, the village is left unguarded.
Taylor can understand, why when he entered the village there were only women, old people, and little children and they always have a guard towards the people of Nova.
Fear.
Before he thought everyone went for hunting. But now realized what happened.
Then Trion's reason to get strong is simple so to protect the unguarded village.
'This is how war is. War, a place two sides fight for the benefits or conflict to stand for their ideal. However, the person that lives and faces the effects of war are not the people in power that stood above the masses. But the people that lay at the bottom circle and spend their sweat and blood to fight for a cause which they didn't even know, just for filling their duties.'
'While the abled warriors of the village went to fight, the village is under the constant threat of Beasts. And the war with the demons will only worsen as time went on. So they won't be returning anytime soon, and this unguarded village will be a graveyard when they return.'
'That would have been the circumstantial future if Nova didn't connect to this world. Not only Rosewood village, but all the nearby villages are also under this same crisis.'
'A warrior fight with steel and blood,
His family fight with tears and fears.'
All of a sudden, the temperature around the trio started to drop, as Taylor starter to emit an aura heavier on both Trion and Edward.
When they looked at Taylor's gaze, they could not see the calm look Taylor always had on his face, now his eyes are full of remorse, looking at that eyes they felt pity at that regret loaded eyes, it was eyes of a person that lacks all emotions.
"If you want to get stronger, do it by staying here. If you left the village the people you love and even though you became powerful when you return. That will be for naught. If your village is attacked or destroyed when you are not here. What will you do? Even if you become a God, it won't be of any use. Even a God can't undo death."
"Living and dying with a loved one is better than regretting the rest of your life alone, losing them"
On hearing the sorrowful voice at the end of his words both of them shuddered.
Edward shouted,
"Boss"" Boss""Boss"
After his continuous call.
"What"
Taylor got out of his trance-like state and looked at both staring at him with sadness.
"Why are you looking at me like that, what happened. Is there something on my face."
With those words, he touches his face only to feel tears on them.
'Did I cry'
'Damn, I showed my weaker side. What is the feeling that took over me?'
With an awkward and unanswerable situation, Taylor said to Trion,
"If you want to leave the village just to become strong. So do the other kids in the village, they will feel the same. And if they also leave.
Who will be here to protect your family and village from the threats."
After hearing this Trion stood up and bowed to Taylor.
"Thank you. May your hunt be plentiful "
saying that Trion took off into the village.
At that time a screen appeared before Taylor and Edward,

"Okay. I will. Come let's go to the forest" said Taylor while exiting the village instantly.
'Thank God, as always fatty made his own assumptions and believed his own story. Doesn't even need me to lie.'
'But what is this pricking feel in my heart.'
Edward asked while chasing after Taylor,
"But still Boss, this is totally ducked up. Isn't the Kingdom's duty to protect its people. It is totally reversed. What are Kingdom elites doing"
Taylor thought about it and said,
