9 Chapter Four

Luna woke up feeling fantastic, his body was stronger than ever, though it was not anywhere as strong as his soul, as his soul and body were two different things. His soul, on one hand, was strong, it was at least 10x the strength of an ordinary person soul. His body though was probably at the strength of a level two adventurer. He also noticed his Void Kitten and said a quick hello to it and the kitten merely purred in response when Luna stroked the kitten's fur.

Luna did a quick pulse check of his surroundings with his [Oberservation Haki] and found no one nearby. A pulse check was something Luna developed, that was similar to a bats radar scanner, where they send an electromagnetic wave that bounces back to the bat. As Luna didn't want to invade on people's privacy too much, he developed this technique so he doesn't have to have [Observation Haki] on all the time.

Luna then took this time to check his body and he quickly noticed that his human ear disappeared and in place, two black wolf ears appear on top of his head, with smooth black horns that looked like they had a design of shattered glass on them where his human ears used to be, and with the horns curving back and to his mouth like a C. Although, at first he didn't like them because he assumed they would weigh his head down but then he noticed they weighed nothing and didn't get in the way of anything.

Luna also noticed he had a tail that was a mixture of fur and scales, with the top half of the tail black in scales and with the bottom half being white in fur. The tail also felt like it was an extra limb and he quickly noticed how useful his tail was gonna be in fighting, and with his style of focusing on unpredictableness, his tail was like a godsend to his style. It also was 3 feet in length and about 5 inches in width.

Luna was admiring his new features and forgot to check his new stats. 'Stats!'

Well, Luna was not gonna complain, as the wolf and dragon were his two favorite animals back on Earth, even if one of them was mythical.

But since he has yet to smell anyone specific he couldn't track how accurate it was. Even if he met the divines and Airmid earlier, he was still a human and thus was unable to differentiate.

While Luna said that his nose was the best out of all senses that were without Haki, so with Haki then his perception was even higher than his nose.

Luna was the type of guy to like soft things. He wasn't a girl, but he just liked the feeling of soft things and wouldn't go out his way to buy a stuffed bear or something. But if he saw a soft looking thing then he would just feel it before walking away. And with his tail that looked ever so soft. He quickly grabbed his tail and gently rubbed his cheeks against the underside of his tail. What Luna did not expect was the sensitivity his tail had and did a mixture of a growl and purr. "Gurr~!" He moaned in pleasure and almost fell to his knees, but kept up from pure willpower.

He quickly panicked in fear and horror from the dangers this tail bought him. Like it very well could be used against him in battle.

His biggest weakness right now was his tail and ears. One stroke and he was on his knees, although his ears weren't as sensitive as his tail, he still felt incredibly good when stroking his ears.

But he quickly calmed down and swore he would not allow anyone to touch his tail. He also noticed that his tail and ears would move according to his emotions and right now his tail was just barely wagging and his ears were just erect on his head, not hard but it looked like it could be knocked down by the wind anytime soon. He assumed this was because of his excitement from the power upgrade.

And When he took off his shirt, he was now able to clearly see his chest. He had a swimmer type body with his lean muscles and he also had his countless scars on his body from his torture, and to be quite honest, he thought he looked cool. Yes cool. That was his first reaction upon seeing his scars. Not anger, not disgust, not anything, but coolness. Yes, he thought his scars looked cool and secretly hoped for them to stay there.

Luna spent 2 minutes on top of the city walls, adapting to his new power. Usually, if someone was to suddenly get a huge amount of power at once as he did, it would take them who knows how many months and years. As getting to level two already took at least a year itself to get to and that is considered the highest record, which is made by a certain blond stoic sword princess.

Anyways moving on, His incredible adaption speed was due to his soul and part was because he had already reached this power level state before, but that was in soul form.

Now that Luna had finished everything, he was ready to go the dungeon. Ah, wait. He just remembers that he has to go to Freya's Familia and report to her as she was his current living space tenant, although temporary, he still felt that he has to go talk to her as he does not want to cause any troubles, though, that was already inevitable as when Luna did a pulse check with his [Oberservation Haki], he found out that many people that were looking for him and that would be very troublesome if people were to make such a big deal.

20 minutes later, Luna could be seen walking with his kitten
