"Huh, what happened to the leaderboard? Where did bloodyfang and the others go?" A man exclaimed in a middle of a village.
In front of him there was a list.

"Where the hell is everyone?! Who the heck are these guys?"
"What happened?" Another man asked
"Bloodyfang and the others aren't on the level leaderboard. The highest level on the leaderboard is 284, but bloodyfang was level 293..."
"Wait really? Let me see."
"Here." The man swiped the screen and it moved. in front of the other man.
His expression turned into confusion as he saw the leaderboard. "Maybe their accounts got deleted? Or the rewards from the competition reset their levels but it changed their classes to new ones?"
"Probably, but it's weird."

'A system? Shouldn't it allow me to logout?' Shaina thought 'Hey system can I logout?'

'Didn't the developers give you a feature to log me out of this game?'
[I'm sorry what do you mean by log out, and game?]
'What the heck?! So I can't logout?!'
[Unfortunately, there is no such thing as logout in my commands.]
'Ugh, damn it, I hope my mother can turn off my helmet.' Shaina sighed 'What commands do you have?'

'Should've expected being level 1, wouldn't be fair for the game if I was level 293.' Shaina sighed and the screen went away.
"Woahhh you have a system?! Only adventurers have that, that's so cool!!" Will exclaimed as he saw a screen appear in front of Shaina.
"Huh? You can see my system?" Shaina asked in confusion.
"Yes, systems can be seen by everyone! It helps people identify others!"
"Ohh okay." Shaina said in a dazed voice 'Can I see my status?'

'Still am a vampire, well thats great.' Shaina tought as the box disappeared.
Shaina looked over at the two kids, they were huddled close to each other staring at Shaina with fear.
"Hey, what's wrong? Is there something behind me." Shaina walked closer, and looked behind her.
"STAY AWAY, YOU VAMPIRE DONT DRINK OUR BLOOD!" Elli screamed as Shaina was walking to them.
"Huh? I wouldn't drink your blood, that's disgusting." Shaina said in disbelief. 'Did they update npcs' AI? They react in a more human like way...'
"THATS A LIE, ALL VAMPIRES DRINK HUMAN BLOOD!!" Elli said with tears running down her face.
"Elli, I promise you I won't drink your blood, I would never do that to people. Here, my system has a promise feature, I think it will punish me if I break it." Shaina pulled up her promises tab and showed the two kids.
"Why should we trust a vampire? Every single one of you lie, and lie!" Elli said while holding her brother closer.
'Damn... The AI In this game is fantastic they act so real!' "Elli, I promise you that I won't do anything, fine... How about this, if I do happen to drink your blood I'll kill myself."
"..." Elli glared at Shaina trying to tell if she was lying. 'I don't think she is lying, could she be telling the truth?' Elli hesitated before she responded "... It's hard to believe you, but you haven't attacked us, but I'll trust you..."
"Thank you" Shaina smiled.
"Let's go to our home, mom and brother will be worried. Shaina you can come, but mother and brother will be weary but, Will and I will vouch for you.".
Shaina thanked them, and followed to their house.
'Damn sun.' Shaina thought as she felt tired when they got to a wooden house. Elli opened the front door revealing a beautiful inside.
"Mother, brother we're home and we have a guest!" Elli called out. Two people both wearing casual clothing. One was a young man around 17, and a woman who looked around her late 40's.
"Oh, welcome back Elli, and Will!" The woman greeted her children while the young man didn't say anything, and stared at Shaina.
"Who's this woman?" Their brother finally said.
"Oh, this is Yuki, we found her while going around the fields. I think she was homeless, can we let her live here?" Elli explained.
There was a silence before her brother said something "Mother, I don't see why not. We have a spare room.
"Let's sit at our table before deciding. Come, let's go." The mother motioned to a rectangular table. Shaina followed everyone to the table. She felt better once she stepped inside.

'Thank god...' Shaina sat down on the nearest chair.
"Well, Yuki like Elli said, do you want to live here?" Their mother asked.
"Yes." Shiana said without thinking.
"Ah, alright. Welcome to our humble home, your room is on the right down that hallway. Oh! You may call me Elaine, it's nice to meet you Yuki." Elaine held out her hand, and Shiana took the handshake.
"Wow, your skin is cold, are you okay?" Elaine asked as she was shocked by Shiana's skin.
"Oh, yeah I am fine." Shiana took her hand away
After talking for a bit, Shiana excused herself and went to the room that Elaine said that is her room.
"She seems sweet, don't you think Jason?" Elaine turned her head looking at the bored young man.
"I guess, but she seems strange, like her pale skin, and crimson red eyes." Jason took his hand off his chin and looked at Elaine
"Yes I noticed that as well, but she could have a condition that makes her appear like that." Elaine said
"Yeah, it could be a condition called being a vampire."
"You call her a vampire, yet she didn't attack both Elli, and Will, in those stories your father told everyone vampires were malicious and violet creatures."
"Well yeah, but her appearance is exactly like a vampire, her snow like skin, and her crimson eyes."
""U-Um brother, and mother, Yuki is a vampire, but she promised us she wouldn't attack or drink our blood, but if she did she said she will kill herself..." Elli butted in.
"WAIT SHE REALLY IS A VAMPIRE?! ELLI DONT BELIEVE WHAT SHE PROMISED SHE WILL KILL US ALL!" Elaine screamed
"JASON GIVE ME MY SWORD NOW!" Elaine ordered
Jason quickly pulled out his inventory appearing like a classic mmo rpg inventory, he tapped two boxes and 2 silver swords popped out. He tossed one to Elaine.
'What are these skills? Fear inducing glare, and paralyzing touch?'

'Oh, cool thats neat but those mp costs are quite-' Suddenly a loud bang could be heard on the door to the room. "Hello? The door is unlocked!" When she finished that the door came off the hinges.
Both Elaine, and Jason barged in holding 2 silver swords pointing them at Shiana.
"Is there something wrong?" Shiana asked with worry.
They didn't say anything. Jason rushed at Shiana his sword slicing through the air. Catching Shiana off guard he cut her chest.
'SHIT THIS PAIN!' Shiana exclaimed. as she held her chest.
"You deserve to die vampire, you and all of your race need to die!" Jason exclaimed as he held his sword above his head.
[Blood Bank empty user will heal but they will require blood to quench their thirst]
Shiana felt her wound closing rapidly. Which Jason stared at her with disgust.
"Why? Why are you going to kill me?"
"I don't need a reason to kill you, every creature that attacks humans deserve to die!" Jason was about to swing his sword but Elli and Will stood in front of him.
"Stop Jason! Do you see that she isn't attempting to kill us?! Didn't our father tell us that theu attack humans on sight?! She isn't like other creatures!" Elli exclaimed at him
"I DON'T CARE, IT COULD ATTACK US ANY MOMENT EVEN IF WE ARE ASLEEP! DO YOU REALLY WANT TO RISK HAVING THAT THING WITH US?!" Jason yelled causing Elli and Will to flinch.
"Jason, please she promised Will and I that she wouldn't hurt us!" Elli cried out
"..." Jason glared at Shiana seeing a scared look on her face "Let me test something, if thats true she wouldn't attack me if I show her my blood."
Jason lowered his sword, and cut his palm causing blood to ooze out.
Shiana smelled ab overwhelming sweet fragrance oozing out of Jason's palm. She could feel saliva build up in her mouth. 'Just what is this smell? It smells good...' Shiana stood up to see what the smell was and saw a pool of blood in Jason's palm.
She felt a sudden urge to attack Jason.
"You like that don't you, you little blood sucker." Jason moved his palm out.
Shiana felt the urge grow. She stared at the blood wanting to drink it. 'It smells so delicious yet it's blood , what the heck is wrong with me? Did the devs add a feature to vampires requiring them to drink blood instead of eating?'
Jason seeing the desire in Shaina's eyes smirked a bit. "Oh come on little vampire I know you want some!"
Shaiana shook her head violently. "Please, stop I don't want to hurt any of you. I wouldn't hurt anyone." She said breathlessly.
