2 2 (Class Dismissed)

The school bell rang, but as usual, he sat in his chair with his feet raised. Not really caring that he was the only one inside the classroom. He had gone through this already, and finally, the last one came.

Looking the building, Diana sighed. Though she had spent most of her days on the campus, she still couldn't help but marvel at how wonderfully designed it was. Walking through the empty hallways, she went to her locker to pick up something she had forgotten. Her diary.

But where was she gonna go? Everything wasn't like it was before. She just really came here cause she remembered forgetting to get it the moment her eyes closed. Anyways, she wasn't sure where to go next? She couldn't just wander aimlessly right?

After getting what she needed, she turned to leave, but instead, she walked towards a certain direction. She felt like she had to go there.

Entering her homeroom class, she flushed slightly. George was actually there, casually sleeping like he always does. Coughing lightly, she woke him up.

"You're late." he deadpanned.

"What?" Diana asked. She was confused. What did George mean by her being late?

"We're having a reunion party and it took you so long to get here. I mean, at least you weren't like Tom, I had to search the campus for that idiot because he still got lost on the way. Don't tell me you forgot?" he said sarcastically. Throwing the invitation lightly at her face. He would've given it properly, but he wanted to tease her a bit.

Diana's face grew red as she snorted. "Of course not! I just found the idea stupid and didn't want to go." She really didn't mean that. She wasn't sure what to say. She didn't really believe that they'd plan a real reunion considering how bad they were at plans in general. The last party they put together ended up collapsing, literally.

"Alright. Alright." he replied, raising his hands in surrender. "So...what do you want to do?"

"What do you mean?"

"Rules are that you need to fulfill something before you're allowed to join the others in the party. Just do whatever you want. But don't belt out like Giane did. My ear drums felt like bursting when she started singing Whitney Houston songs at the top of her lungs."

"Do I really have to?" Diana felt skeptical. "I mean, it's not like they'd know."

"I would know. Why do you think I stayed here? I need to make sure everyone goes through with it."

She raised her eyebrow at his response. "Fine." she sighed in defeat. "What do you want to do then? Cause aside from sleeping, I don't know what I want to do."

'She's lying again.' George thought as he saw her ears twitch slightly again. Shaking his head, he smiled. His little vice president knew he hadn't done his since he waited for everyone. "Let's sleep together then." he whispered, his voice husky and seductive.

Diana's face grew red as she glared at him, trying not to show her flustered side.

Noticing a familiar looking hardbound, he quickly snatched it up and started turning it on random pages. Seeing the diary in his hands, she immediately tried to tackle him down. Lifting the book up high with one hand, he maneuvered her body with his other. They ended up on the floor, with George straddling her. Finding the one he remembers, he started reading it out loud. One of his hands pinned Diana's hands above her head.

"Dear Diary,

If there's one regret I had in this year, it was the fact that I didn't have the courage to confess to George when we were in our last year of high school. He was the straight A president, while I was the vice president, the assistant. There was nothing special about me. But I fell for him. I don't know how, I don't know why, I just know I love him.

And maybe when the time comes that I've moved on from him, that'd be great. But I would prefer us meeting again and becoming a couple like those cheesy movies I always laugh at-"

"Shut up!" she glared at him. "That was way back ok!? Don't make a big deal out of it." She felt a bitter taste in her throat. She wanted to say so much to him. Scold him, beat him senseless, yet she couldn't.

Looking at her bullied expression, he wanted to bite and tease her some more. But seeing the her in tears made his heart ache. "I'm sorry." he murmured by her neck, nuzzling it with his face.

"It's ok." she whispered back. Not wanting anymore of the negativity to affect them, she bit his ear.

He yelped slightly and pouted. "Now, now. Don't be mean."

"You started it." she huffed. Chuckling, he kissed her hair and nibbled on her neck.

"Now back to the topic." he said.

"What topic?" she pretended to be clueless. He pinched her nose lightly. She was so distracted that she didn't realize that George had already let go of her hands.

"This one." he replied while waving her diary in the air.

"Come on wifey." George suddenly purred. "If you told me earlier, we would've been a couple faster. I mean, why do you think I voted for you to be my vice president?" pressing his body to her, he kissed her gently. He felt tears in his eyes as he closed them and let himself go.

She sighed and responded back. They spent the rest of their time enjoying the warmth they spent years missing.

"I miss you." They said to each other. Their foreheads touching one another.

After cuddling each other a bit more, they turned to the board. Erasing a part of the words written, they left hand in hand. And if you looked at their intertwined hands you would see glowing, similar looking wedding bands.

The final bell rang as a light flashed inside the classroom. Leaving nothing except the words that were on the board.
