Heroic Woman

After leaving the village, Ryu again changed back to his original appearance and clothes. He kept traveling with half of his speed to prevent his body from consuming great energy. And after 3 days of non stop travel, he finally reached the battle ground of the Third Great Shinobi World War!

Since the was just started, it isn't that much of a large scale battle, just occasional probing from each Hidden Village involved. He saw some Konoha ninja's but chose to avoid them, it would practically add him some trouble if the found him in the battlefield alone and relaxed.

He was just passing by a stream when he sensed several presence speeding towards his location. The terrain he was in did not have a very good hiding place at all. Ryu had no choice but to wait for them to come, leaving was not very good either as sensor type ninjas could easily discover him.

But what he witnessed later made him very angry, a woman was being chased by several people. What was more enraging thing is that the lady was wearing the standard attire of jounin ninja of the Hidden Leaf and her head protector was tied on her neck.

The woman already noticed Ryu from far away and could only shout loudly towards him.

"Run! Little boy, run!" The lady shouted with sadness and anger in her voice. When she noticed the konoha head protector on Ryu's head, her face showed even greater despair. How could she leave one of the future generations of Konoha die because of her mess.

She also knew that because of the shortage of man power, the Hokage was forced to order even students to go on missions. She continued to shout but the little boy seemed to not hear her voice and he only looked at the people chasing her. She again assumed that he was only scared to move.

"Damn it!" There was still a possibility that she could escape from these men but the appearance of the boy changed everything. Now, the woman could only forcefully turn her back and face the enemies head on.

"Little boy! Hurry up and run! I will old them for you! If you don't run, you will die!" shouted the woman with great determination before taking a kunai in her leg pocket. She did not continue looking at the boy and just concentrated with the people chasing her.

Ryu who heard and watched her movements felt his heart warm up. Honestly, the endless killing he did slightly changed his attitude. He became even more cold blooded and the value of life seemed so little anymore. It felt like killing them was nothing more like killing ants. Unknowingly, a smile appeared on his lips while his eyes turned scarlet as he slowly walked towards the courageous woman.

How could he let someone like her die. He initially wanted to look for the Akatsuki and join them, but his mind changed. If the Akatsuki is powerful, why don't he create a group of his own that is more powerful. It is that simple!

While Ryu was lost in thought, the woman was already facing by the people who were chasing her.

"Haha, how heroic of you, but it seems that your efforts were wasted." a woman from the enemy side said with a chuckle, but what she said only cause the heroic woman turn her head. And she also saw the little boy she instructed to run slowly walking towards them with a blank face.

"You bastards, what did you do?!" The heroic woman shouted angrily.

"Huh? We did not do anything. Looks like your little boy here has gone mad and wanted to die early!" A man said mockingly at the heroic woman. The others only glanced at Ryu and did not notice the scarlet eyes that were looking at them with fury. How could they bully a kind lady with so many of them.

"Bastards of the Hidden Stone!" The heroic lady could only curse in anger.

"Tsk! Like your Hidden leaf is any better!" the woman talked again. "Don't worry, I will definitely capture that boy and take care of him well." she continued, but her face showed contrary to what she said earlier. Vicious!

"Oh? And how do you plan on taking care of me? I am quite a naughty boy, you see." The enemy side were startled when a childish boy echoed in their head. Especially that woman, she felt chills on her back when he heard those words.

She hurriedly looked at Ryu but her face stiffened when she looked at the boy who had a slight smile on his face. The killing intent and blood lust the boy was producing terrified her. But her body suddenly went limp and went on her knees when she looked at those eyes.

"What?!" the others exclaimed before backing out more than fifty meters away from the heroic woman before glancing who could be so powerful that they took out one of their man without contact at all. But they could not find a single person other than the two in front of them.

"Where are you looking at, I am here..." The childish voice again echoed in there head and then hurriedly looked towards the child walking towards the heroic woman. And they were again shocked to see that scarlet eyes.

"Those red eyes and weird dots, there is no mistaking it, It is the sharingan!" exclaimed a man from the group. There were originally 6 of them but the woman earlier was easily taken down with an unknown method easily reducing them to 5.

"Fuck! A genius from the damned Uchiha Clan! It would be a great merit if we kill him now!" said another man excitedly while battle intent emerged from his body.

"Idiot! Do you think you are stronger than Kae? Think before you speak! And although I have never fought an Uchiha before, I heard that they are terrifying ninjutsu and genjutsu users! My guess is that, Kae was put under genjutsu just by a glance from the kid!" another man scolded.

"Hmm. You are pretty smart. So this vile woman's name is Kae, I wander what would happen when I slash her neck?" Ryu said while tossing and catching a kunai. His smile was sinister as he looked at the kneeling woman trapped in his genjutsu. He passed the heroic woman who was still looking at him dumbly.

Hearing those words, the Iwagakure ninjas turned pale while holding back their anger. But one was not able to hold it anymore.

"Who cares if you kill her! I am already sick of her attitude!" A young man in his twenties roared as he employed hand seals.

"Doton: Earth Pillar Prison!"

The ground around Ryu's feet vibrated giving him time to dodge to the side while also employing hand seals.

"Katon: Grand Fireball Jutsu!"

Large sphere made of flame came out from is mouth that was condensed from his lungs targeting the enemy. This jutu was basic for the Uchiha clan to train in, but if anybody from the clan saw the flame, they would be shocked.

Seeing the attack, the enemies were frightened before the group simultaneously casting "Doton: Mud Wall!" creating layers of mud walls blocking the large flame.

Bang! A violent explosion occurred blasting the 4 layers of the mud wall. But just as the group relaxed a little..

"Katon: Fire Dragon Flame Missile!"

A river of flame came out of Ryu's lungs burning all of the remaining mud wall and nearly incinerating the body of the five. The rain in that area also evaporated for 3 seconds before returning to normal. But the land was left with a huge crater from the explosion that occurred.
