Jay is the first contestant that brings an instrument with him to the stage.
"Annyeonghaseyo, I'm Jay Kim, 15 years old. I will performing a song I wrote myself, it doesn't have title yet but the lyrics are complete."
Jay is also the first and possibly last contestant to perform a self-composed song today.
After the officials nod their heads, he tunes his guitar and plays some simple chords until it feels right, then he starts his performance.

The whole hall goes silent after Jay's performance, except the four brothers who already knew about this song.
"Contestant Jay Kim-ssi, you mind if I ask you some questions?" This is the first time President Lee Soo Man has spoken.

"You said you composed this song yourself, did anyone else participate in that process?"
"No, there's no one else."
"I see, do you have any plan on selling this song?"

The officials gasps at his announcement, because this he rarely even invites anyone into his office personally, so even they start to see Jay in a different light, because Lee Soo Man is known for finding talents.
"...yes sir." There's no way Jay is gonna refuse an offer like that, so he regroups with Jee Eun and her grandma and follows the president to his office. The president invites all of them to sit around the table in the office.

"I'll give you a trainee contract right here right now, without you needing to participate in the rest of the contest. Then, you can debut as a solo when you are ready."

However, after a few seconds, Jay leaves the group and turns to Jee Eun and her grandma who have been following them since the beginning. He hugs the both of them tightly, trying to share some of the happiness with them.
"Congratulation oppa!" Jee Eun says so with tears in her eyes.
"Congratulation Jay, we knew you could do it. Congratulations to you boys too." Grandma didn't forget about the boys unlike Jee Eun who only has her eyes on Jay.
