20 Reunion.

"Saya!" As Takashi and everyone was talking a breath of sigh, they heard the voice of a woman.

Everyone's attention diverted towards where the sound came from. There they say a woman in fire brigade uniform, behind the wires, with worried laced on her face.

Saya, seeing her mother — tears started to form in her eyes. With the strength left in her body, she rushes towards her.

But, of course, because of wire she cannot reach her. Just as Yuriko was about to ask her man to bring the stairs, she saw Saya's leg shining, and then she jumped over the fence, landing on the other side.

Yuriko wide-eyed looked at her daughter, whose strength was probably greater than any of her men. I mean, none of her men can jump over a three meters high wires with their leg strength alone.

But she did not have much time to think as Saya lunged on her and started to cry profusely.

"Mom! I missed you!" Saya said, tightly hugging her mother.

Though she acted tough all the time, she was, in the end, still a high school girl. It was too much for her to take when suddenly the world started to break down.

She was scared and afraid. She did not want to kill, but she knew to survive, she had to. She knew that she was not the only one who was afraid; that's why she did not bother anyone with her worries.

But seeing her mother, all of her pent-up stress and worries flew out, and she started to cry loudly.

Yuriko gently hugged her daughter, trying to calm her down. She was also crying, but not like Saya.

Soon, others also made it to the other side of the wires. And, of course, they jumped over. Using spiritual energy, they could easily increase their physical strength.

But for Yuriko and her men, they looked nothing more than freaks. How could high schoolers have the strength that even a trained soldier did not have?

"Saya… what is going on?" Yuriko asked. She was too confused as she could not come up with an answer with her genius mind.

Saya, who had stopped crying looked at her mother and then to Noah, who was sitting beside Tanya, teasing her. She became quiet.

Not that she did not want to tell her mother, but since Noah was the one who taught them, she thought it would be rude to tell others when Noah has not given them permission to do so.

Yuriko was an intelligent woman. Just by seeing Saya looking towards the boy that sacred her, she knew that it was related to him.

Seeing as her daughter was not going to tell them anything soon, she sighed and did not peruse her.

"We can talk about it once we are back. For now, you all should be tired. You should follow me to Takagi state and have some rest." Yuriko said to Takashi and co.

They nodded since they really were tired, physically, and mentally.

Seeing a monster that could end their lives at any moment, their minds were jumbled with many thoughts. They needed to take a cold bath to clear their minds.

"We thank you, Aunty," Takashi said, bowing her head.

Yuriko shook her head and said, "You have protected my daughter and brought her safely back to us; this is not enough to show the gratitude that I have for you guys."

Everyone became embarrassed since they did not do much except following Noah.

Yuriko looked towards Noah, Tanya, and Saeko, that were laid beside them, and asked, "He is?" she was really curious about Noah.

"He is Noah, also the one who brought us here safely. If not for him, we would have died long ago." Saya said.

Although she knew that they might be able to reach here on their own, it was a fact that they would have died when that monster attacked them.

Noah, who was sitting beside Tanya and was trying to regain his energy since he used most of it, felt a gaze on him.

Looking at Yuriko, he smiled and waved his hand.

"What are you smiling for?" Tanya said with irritation. Since the time Noah fought with the monster, she has this annoying feeling inside her that made her irritating.

She did not know what this feeling was, but it made her annoyed for sure.

Noah smirked and said, "Ara~, could be that Tanya-chan is jealous? It's alright. I will never forget about you."

"Who is jealous?!" Tanya shouted but then gritted her teeth as she felt pain crossing through her body.

Though most of her wounds were healed, it was still painful.

Seeing her painful expression, Noah stopped teasing her and said, "I think we should be able to leave this world soon."

Tanya raised her brow, seeing him stopped teasing. Seeing worry in his eyes, her cheeks had a slight hue of red — looking at another side, she asked, "When?"

Making a thinking face, Noah said, "Soon, I do not know that exact time and date." He looked towards Saeko, who was sleeping soundly and said, "Anyway, we should leave too. I want to take a warm bath~,"

Standing up, he took Tanya in princess carry while using his energy to lift Saeko up since she was too big for his little body to carry.

"W-what are you doing, pervert?! Put me down this instant!" Tanya shouted as she felt an unknown feeling intensify.

Noah smirked and stated, "Don't move this much little Tanya. You are hurt. As your partner, I have to take care of you."

Tanya's face becomes even redder. She wanted to complain again but seeing his serious face, she becomes quiet.

A moment later, Noah reached the other side of the wires. Yuriko's men tensed up seeing him. They still have not forgotten the dense bloodlust that Noah released a moment ago.

They hurriedly came before Yuriko and Saya, protecting them, as one of the men shouted, "What do you want monster?! Stay away since you are also one of 'them'!"

Yuriko wanted to stop them but Noah beat her to it, "Don't you know? A good dog does not block the way. Get out of my way before I send you to the yellow river." He said as he covered them with his killing intent.

Normally, he would have played with these types of guys, but he was seriously tired and not in the mood to do so.

Everyone felt Shinigami's scythe on their necks. One by one, they started to fall on their butts as sweat socked their bodies.

Yuriko came forward and said, "Please stop! I apologize to them. They did not mean to offend you; they are just scared."

"Humph! Scared or not, I do not give a shit. Block my way next time, and I will have their heads." Noah said and started to walk towards the Humvee.

He was getting more and more annoyed since he was been feeling ached on her chest. He knew that it was something related to the Cube; he wanted to just find a place and check what was happening.

Yuriko sighed, seeing Noah leaving towards the Humvee. She was really scared that Noah would kill her men since she has seen his horror before, and knew that he would not shy away from killing her men – which was evident with the amount of bloodlust that he released.

Soon, everyone collected themselves and readied to leave.

Takashi and co entered the Humvee as they felt more relaxed in each other's company than with unknown macho men.

"Please do not be angry, Noah. Mom's men did not mean to offend you." Saya said with guilt.

She did not like them calling Noah and comparing him to 'them' as he was their savior and teacher. She was quite angry with her mother's men.

Since shaming their teacher was the same as shaming them and calling them 'them'.

Noah did not say anything as he was trying to calm the aching that he was feeling on his chest; it was quite annoying. It was as if a person kept on piercing a needle on your chest.

Saya becomes quiet seeing as Noah did not reply. From his expression, she could tell that he was lost in his thoughts, so she did not disturb him and went back to sit with others.

Shizuka might be the only one who was most cheerful right now. She was the most relaxed and carefree in their group.

Humming the song that Noah has sung before, she pressed the peddle as Humvee followed after the fire truck.

Noah looked towards her and was wondering what was inside her head. 'Maybe she is a unique creature that has yet to be identified?' Noah thought.
