Ch. 1

Voices swirled around her ear, faces popping in her blurring eyes. A faint smile, hidden away from the world, spread across her face. Her tears defied gravity, slowly drifting upward from the momentum. The man standing on top of the building tried to catch her slipping hands with a heartrending cry, "QING QING!"

With a loud BANG!, the ground shook under the impact; her bones shattered. She could feel the gritty concrete beneath her face, the pooling metallic blood under her head, the burning pain that seemed everywhere. In her last moments, the only thought that passed through her mind was:

"Hah... guess you couldn't sacrifice huh..."
