Average (bad) gamer gets summoned to another world.

A world/Kingdom/God(dess)/R.O.B./etc needs someone to be the hero. They somehow know/learn that near-mythical sounding beings known only as 'gamers' can create miracles in seemingly impossible scenarios. The MC gets summoned and has to learn to survive in a new and often hostile world with his lackluster skills.

The misadventures of a casual 'story gamer' who wakes up in another world. The MC tries to avoid combat wherever possible and focuses on trying to get to know everyone and their background. Often Mistaken as a Bard trying to gather sources for an epic.

The daily/slice-of-life adventures of a casual gamer trapped in a game world. Can be a fanfic/reincarnation/transmigration into mainstream fictional series such as .Hack, SAO (and sequels), or even Actual games (WoW, Destiny, Doom, Star Wars franchise, Resistance, Wolfenstein, etc); both with and without other 'players'. Can even be a casual/background character in a webnovel of this genre with the premise that they are a(nother) former player and not a reader (what if a casual player woke up and found themselves in the game from The Legendary Mechanic, how would they (try) to progress so they could survive, would they try to meet up with the legendary NPC (from their point of view)).

An Average gamer wakes up in a unknown world with a game system/HUD they are slightly familiar with. The problem/hook is that the System is stuck on Professional/Manual mode for Everything and the MC always only played easy mode with maximum system assistance. Plus the world is nothing like the one from the game.
