Out of the Forest

On top of a tree branch, a figure could be seen standing gazing at the lively city in the distance. The figure was wearing a black cloth covering all of his body making his face hard to recognize due to the hood.

Flash!

The figure disappeared only to reappear on another branch 50 meters away. The figure jumped down from the tree and slowly removed his hood revealing a handsome face.

It is precisely Jhin.

9 months has passed since he crossed over to this world. If not for the system reminding him to stay and kill beasts to level up, Jhin would have left a long time ago.

Originally, it was supposed to be at least 1 year but Jhin could not endure it any longer. The life inside the forest was truly horrible, although he liked to stay silent, being alone for an entire 9 months was still not a pleasant experience.

Training, killing beast, resting, eating beast meat and... star gazing. That was the routine he did in all of the months he stayed inside the forest.

He disappeared again, but this time, he reappeared on the branch of a tree he jumped from.

100 meters away from Jhin's location, 2 young men and a cat with... wings was walking along the road while bickering.

On the right side was a spiky pink haired young man with a slightly tanned skin, a sharp canine teeth, wearing a sleeveless, gold trimmed, black waistcoat, which was left untucked, exposing his bare chest, and a white dragon scale-up like scarf around his neck. Also, there was a weird looking tattoo on his arms.

On the left side was a young man with a spiky black hair, blue eyes wearing... nothing leaving his toned and muscular upper body exposed.

On the center was a weird cat... a flying cat, no... a flying blue cat with a cloth tied around it's neck while holding a fish.

"Bastard! (korra) Want to fight!?" Shouted the spiky pink haired young man.

"Bring it on, Idiot! " replied the the other young man. You can see sparks forming between them.

Jhin, who was watching them from afar was amused. Earlier, he sensed 2 presence, no... 3 presence and immediately concealed himself, but after seeing this scene, he found he was too cautious. Living in a forest full of wild beast, his training really paid off.

"HueHue, What a naive young man." said Jhin with a chuckle and jumped of the tree.

"Excuse me, do you mind if I ask some questions?" Jhin asked behind the 3 individuals startling them.

"What!? Is it an enemy?!" said the pink haired young man in a loud voice and immediately turned around making a fighting stance.

The black haired young man also looked serious and immediately took a stance but did not speak.

"Oh, please don't misunderstand. My name is Jhin Fernandez, do you mind if I ask you some questions?" Jhin immediately explained and asked in a polite tone.

"Nani, I thought it was an enemy, sorry about that. Man, you sure are amazing, I couldn't even smell or sense you when you got behind us. My name is Natsu from Fairy Tail Guild, Natsu Dragneel, you can call me Natsu, nice to meet you." said the pink haired young man in a loud voice. Jhin could feel him lower his guard a little.

"I am also Gray Fulbuster from Fairy Tail Guild, you can call me Gray." Seeing the seemingly 'harmless' man, Gray also lowered his guard.

"And call me Happy. So what do u you want to ask from us?" said the flying cat.

"Fairy tail guild? You three are from a guild?" Jhin asked while scanning the two young men.

"Yeah! You don't recognize our emblem?" asked Natsu, a little surprised.

"Yeah! From the looks of it, you don't even look like you know or heard about our guild, the strongest guild in Fiore Kingdom." Gray added.

"Ah, sorry, I lived inside the forest since I was born. I heard a lot about guilds from my parents. Now that the passed away, I wanted to come out, join a guild and explore the world." explained Jhin patiently. Although he added some lies in it, it wasn't exactly false. After he finished speaking, the system showed him the stats of Natsu and Gray.

"You lived inside the forest?! Isn't it dangerous there, master said there are many beast living there. It must have been tough." said Happy in a little sad tone.

"Ahaha, although I may not look like it, I am pretty strong and I have many tricks to survive inside. For example, I have a potion that can completely remove my scent. And I did not live in the deepest parts, just on the outskirts of the Forest." said Jhin with a little laugh.

Jhin himself did not know when, but after living inside the forest for months, his temperament slowly changed. When he would fight beast, he unknowingly smile or even laugh from excitement. And as the days passed by, his expressionless face gradually showed many emotions.

"Hmm, so that explains why I did not smell you earlier. Since you're looking to join a guild, why not join us, join Fairy Tail! You don't know but our Guild is the strongest." said Natsu while smiling in a natural and innocent way and started to walk.

"Eh? You sure? Your other guild don't know me yet." asked Jhin a little doubtful.

"Don't worry, our guild accepts everyone who applies, of course only magicians." said Gray, reassuring him.

"OK, I'll take a look first." Anyone would not trust someone they just, would they, unless of course they have trust issues.

They chattered as they walked towards the city.
