11 Automation?

Our hero could be seen at this moment, practicing the abilities of the plorts.

Rock plorts gave him high resistance for most things and its distant relative crystal plorts removed that high resistance for high offensive capability, allowing him to form explosive crystal formations that were quite dangerous.

His goal for today? Automation of the Ranch and Visiting the glass desert, this place had the tangle slimes, perfect for wrangling slimes and allowing him to tie off some areas with the vines so that slimes don't fall into the slime ocean at the docks.

There was also the Dervish slime but it was very chaotic. Grabbing his gear he headed to the slime lab. For a singular drone, he needed 18 honey plorts, 12 quantum plorts, 6 hunter plorts, 6 wild honey, 6 Jellystone, and finally 2 hexacombs. To fully automate his home he needed just 10 drones, that was an insane amount for him, although he could gain the plorts rather fast just by saving them which he is already doing. The Jellystone could be acquired through mining and by using drills, the hexacombs were rather easy to get and that was by using apiaries and the wild honey unfortunately could only be acquired by placing apiaries in Honey perch.

First, he wanted to automate his ranch before heading out to the glass desert. This was due to the fact that the glass desert was in an entirely different dimension and time flowed differently there. So just for safety, he was automating the place to not come back to a disaster.

He also discovered another ability of the quantum slime, changing your time perception. This could allow him to slow down his perception to make it seem like time has stopped for him and he could make his perception so fast he could blink and find himself at a later date.

He obviously abused this ability by teleporting to the honey perch after making an apiary and placing it to get the Wild honey and hexacombs, In fact, after about a week he got them all except the Jellystone which was mined out with a drill while he waited for the apiary to get the honey.

Now he had just about enough stuff to make ten drones, the only drawback was that the drones needed to be literally 'watered' every 28 hours before they finish being active and just stop doing anything. It was unfortunate for him to part with all the plorts he had obtained but it was a small price to pay for his laziness.

Making the drones was easy setting them up? It was also easy and it only needed him to type in its targeted item, he set for either fruits or veggies, its source, and its destination.

Placing them and watering them he finally went to the back of his home and looked upon the slime sea before he closed his eyes and concentrated well. he imagined a desert with giant glass sculptures and slimes wandering around the barren wasteland as he opened his eyes and found himself at his location.

Looking around he found nothing but after some exploring, he found a fork in the road, an island separated from the cliffs around, or a path that detailed danger. He of course chose the danger and rushed past the path as he found in front of him a strange chicken colored with blues and oranges. A painted Hen, a new possibility in his cooking. So he snatched it. But as he did the sky started to become red, the wind in the air got hotter and gigantic pillars of flames were erected from the ground, Fireballs the size of him were being thrown around by the flames as he took shelter in a cave.

"Not a firestorm!"-Albert

The flames raged on for hours on end as he looked around in the cave, in it was a slime statue and a torch but he could see an opening at the top. He recognized this opening, as he climbed it he was led to a path that followed until a large building the size of a musical theatre. But that was a building for a different moment. He went the way opposite the building as he found another opening made with the same bricks as the Hall from before. There he could see a statue of a dervish slime and so he knew this place.

He used his legs which were springier for some reason to jump on the statue and climb out of the opening. From there he could see that night had settled on the desert as the firestorms had ceased and the land revealed its beauty. He was located in the middle of the ruins of what seemed to be a plaza with large walls encompassing the area and in the corner of one of the walls a tower where vegetation would shine more brilliantly than the stars.

But recognizing his laziness he decided to do something risky and travel to a timeline different from his own. This being a timeline where he hadn't taken the place of Beatrix Lebeau. He appeared in the same plaza as before but now there was vegetation all over the place, slimes were bouncing around happily and there were plants that bloomed for eternity, some of those plants being slimes, more specifically tangle slimes.

But before he could take one he would hear a yell.

"Who are you?!"-???

He grabbed the slime as he turned around. His eyes glowing brighter than before which looked eerie in the night, he stared dumbly at the turquoise-haired girl behind as he suddenly turned gray and disappeared back into his timeline.

(Beatrix Lebeau POV)

What the hell was that? I thought I saw a person but his eyes were glowing! Like the quantum slimes too but more... Scary? He glitched out like a quantum slime too!

It's either the fact I haven't slept in a few days or that quantum slimes can turn into humans. Hopefully, it's the former... hopefully it is...

Sorry for the cliffhanger I just got this nice Idea to make him travel to other timelines from pure laziness. Don't say you wouldn't do it, we all know that we would manipulate time itself if it meant being lazy.
