The world of Eden was one like no other. Full of vast forests and life brimming with potential, it was a spectacular place for some sort of cliche hero story.
And it was... until the story ended.
Lloyd was transmigrated as the hero of this world at the tender age of 16. He had to learn how to use his strength to fight back against the tide of Demons, threatening to kill off the humans of this world.
Accompanied by dear friends who fought alongside him through thick and thin, he was able to finally slay the Demon King after almost a decade of fighting.
He felt so alive at the end of it all. He managed to do something no one else in this world, or his previous one could ever dream of doing.
He even got the girl of his dreams, a princess to the kingdom he served. He was on good terms with the king, nobles, and even neighboring kingdoms. He had his own land and a title to his name.
He was stronger than any other human could only hope to become, yet why did he fall? Of course, it was the girl.
Betrayed by his 'soulmate' he was burned at the stake for 'treason.'
"YOU FUCKERS!!! I'LL KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU IF I'M EVER REINCARNATED!! UNTIL THEN, I WILL HAUNT YOU ALL TO YOUR LAST BREATH AND CURSE YOUR KIN FOR BETRAYING YOUR SAVIOR!!!"
Lloyd could only scream maniacally as his flesh was burned and the princess he once loved looked down at him with a smile.
He was too trusting, and even though it was the end, he promised not to trust again.
However, even he couldn't keep that promise when the Gods decided to give him another chance at life.
A broken man, with nothing to keep him going, he forced himself into isolation. Completely forgetting about his revenge story.
It wasn't until tens of thousands of years later, after meeting brothers and sisters that he could trust, that he would come out of his shell and finally get that revenge he so desperately desired.
