1 Prologue

RB Chapter 1

It is the 22nd century, year 2134, June 1st.

In a certain laboratory with white walls and equipment suitable for carrying out biological experiments, a white man could be seen laughing maniacally.

Only his face beneath the white contamination proof suit could be seen. He had green eyes which were currently staring at a test tube in his right hand filled with green liquid.

"After 4 years of failures, I have finally succeeded!" He shouted excitedly.

The contents of the test tube were a red liquid. Its reddish hue alone makes the person's first guess, blood.

"Now, what should I name it...?" He wondered aloud.

"Biomorph gene solution!!!" His eyes lit up as he muttered the name he came up with in his mind.

"Its time to introduce the world to a new era!" He muttered to himself with a crazy grin adorning his face.

He placed the test tube into a holder which contained 10 more test tubes filled with the same liquid.

They were sealed tightly. If you could look closely, you could see that the liquid made tiny movements even without it being shaken.

Some of it spontaneously separated and floated above in a red gaseous form.

The man exited the laboratory upon which another white skinned man dressed in black suit could be seen upon the opening of the sealed door.

He had an earpiece and a black tinted goggles were covering his eyes. He had a menacing build and he looked like he was experienced in combat.

"Isaac, thanks for guarding me. Contact secretary Brody, tell him its urgent!" The green eyed man said before taking to the right side of the corridor after coming out of the laboratory.

"Yes Sir!" The black suited man acknowledged upon which he raised his right arm and tapped the screen of what seemed to be a watch. A holographic image appeared above the device which he browsed with his left hand to look for the contact of the secretary.

Technology had advanced at epic speed during the 21st and the current 22nd century. Holograms could now be tactile.

The green eyed man reached the end of the corridor, where a decontamination chamber was located, ultra violet light could be seen from the transparent doors.

The facial cover of the white suit he was wearing gained a black hue changing from its transparent form.

It doubled as a screen which was equipped with an AI and it helped in his experiments.

Currently, it was in the process of shielding his eyes from the UV light.

He didn't want to let go of his test tube samples but he had to leave them outside as contact with the light might lead to undesirable changes.

He placed them on a rack and the sliding doors slid open upon the camera at the top capturing his form.

The facilities in this lab and the mansion at the top were managed by an AI.

The UV light illuminated his suit getting rid of any undesirable biological matter which might have contaminated it.

He exited and went to the right changing room and removed the suit.

A head of gray hair could be observed on a well toned body.

He wasn't wearing anything underneath the suit.

"It seems I can live for a few more decades." He said as he looked at his reflection in the full body mirror.

The man's name was Edward Lord. He was a respected genetic engineer in the scientific community.

He was currently 50 years of age but only his gray hair could depict his age.

The reason for it is the one which made him famous the world over.

He had isolated a certain gene related to the brain and edited it which led to humans becoming capable of using 40% of their brain.

The perk which came with it was the ability to control the individual cells and processes of the human body with a thought.

It was so groundbreaking that it led to healthier humans. Obesity and multiple other conditions affecting the human body were eliminated, except the genetic ones, since it didn't give them the ability to manipulate DNA.

Diseases unrelated to the genetic code vanished as humans gained the ability to purge unwanted organisms from their bodies( bacteria and viruses)

The sale of the gene editing tool he had created made him a millionaire but he didn't care for it. Though it helped fund his research.

His ultimate goal was that he wanted humans to manipulate even gene strands, but it was hard.

Even the current result of his research was entirely different from his goal.

He had merged traits of cancer cells, viruses and gene editing tools to create a supercell.

It was going to enhance the human race. But it was based on luck. He was going to release it at the press conference. It could spread through air, water and it could even survive in freezing and hot temperatures of the Earth.

"I hope one day someone gives me a surprise." He muttered to himself as he put on a white shirt. It was paired with black slacks.

He exited the room, picked up the testube and went back the way he had come.

He passed the lab and continued on, a set of stairs appeared leading upwards and he took them.

He opened the door at the top which led to him squinting his eyes.

The door led to a living room above ground.

The glare of the setting sun was too much for him even though he had been in a lab with light.

The smell of food caused him to focus on a table, where a sumptuous feast awaited.

He had spent a month on the lab without eating actual food. He had been depending on a liquid ATP( Adenosine Triphosphate) to survive.[ATP- basically a compound your food turns into after digestion and gives energy to DNA.]

The ability to control cells made the humans capable of taking the compound directly.

He placed the test tubes next to the food and hurriedly started eating. Control of the cells enhanced senses so even the faint aroma of the food was destructive to him, who had gone without food for a month.

A sound like that of a helicopter was picked up by his ears as he was enjoying the food.

'Brody must be here.' He thought to himself.

The AI had started to prepare the food the moment he exited the laboratory. It had learned his habits.

A man appeared right outside of the glass living room.

It was made with glass, but it was 3D printed at the molecular level. Guns which were used during the 21st century couldn't pierce the glass.

They were transparent inside but opaque on the outside.

It was the reason why the tall thin blonde haired man looked as if he didn't see Edward.

A green light was produced from a microscopic device in the glass door and scanned him.

[Biofield match! Access granted!]

The voice of the AI appeared in Edward's ears and the door slid sideways letting the blonde haired Brody in.

Biometric scans of this generation scanned the unique magnetic field given off by an organism instead of things like finger prints and pupils.

"Brody! Nice to see you! As giu can see, I can't stand up to greet you. The food us simply too delicious."

"Its okay, boss. What do you need?" He got straight to the point. No expression was seen on his face.

Edward complained about his stoicness multiple times but he didn't change.

He couldn't fire the man because he was too competent.

"Arrange a press conference for me on June 5th!" He said as he gobbled up the last dish.

"Yes Sir! Do you want reporters from around the world or only domestic ones?" He asked.

"All...also find reliable men! Entrast them with a few of these test tubes and send them to all continents. Leave one for me. I will personally activate it in America."

"Okay!" He answered. He didn't need to note it down as the AI chip somewhere on his body had used his eyes to record the information.

Every human had an AI chip, either externally or directly in their bodies. It helped them in their daily work. It also contained unique information about themselves.

It was pretty convenient, unless of course you were a criminal.

"Aren't you going to ask me what they are for?" Asked Edward.

"I just need to do my job!" He replied as he picked up the test tube holder. He removed one and presented it to Edward before carrying the other with him towards a terminal.

"Remember! The tubes must only be opened when they touch the soil of their destinations." Edward emphasized.

"Yes!" He answered as something started rising out if the terminal.

It was a container required to carry the tubes.

It was being built by a 3D printer from down to up.

"The time has come! For humanity to evolve!" The green glow in Edwards's eyes became prominent as he uttered those words.
