Chapter 48

Zero was determined to live, and make sure Su Ziya and Siara were safe.

He was a man and should probably be the oldest among them, he needs to get up! He needs to become stronger than ever before, he cannot let them die.

He must try to save them!

Zero's whole body felt so heavy! He was bleeding a lot! He clench his teeth and bare with his pain!

"You ugly bird! If you have the guts then come fight me! Stupid bird! I think you are too weak!"shouted Zero, he was provoking the flamming inferno bird

Zero made a signal for Siara and Su Ziya to get up to leave.

The flamming inferno bird was mad! It got provoked by Zero.

The flaming inferno bird started to throw fire balls at him.

Zero tried his best to dodge it, but he couldn't miss all of them so his skin was brunt.

Zero felt very painful, but he still decided to provoke the bird so that he could distract it. Zero ran to the opposite direction of Siara and Su Ziya, the flamming inferno bird followed him.

The flamming inferno bird kept on attacking Zero, Zero's protagonist halo made him able to keep on moving on. Whenever the flamming inferno bird thought that Zero had finally died. Zero will get up and continue to piss it off. It was so mad.

The flamming inferno bird decided to cast it's formidable spell.

The clouds gathered and the sky turned dark. There was huge rumbling sounds.

Su Ziya felt extremely bad, she was the strongest among them but she couldn't even move. She couldn't even save them, she felt so weak, when she compares herself with Zero, she feels so ashamed!

She is in Martial Supreme stage 3 and Zero is only at Martial Apprentice stage 3, they have 6 stage gap, yet Zero is now facing a B rank monster, which is at least in Immortal stage 3 level.

He is fighting against it without caring for his life.

Siara wants to move and use this opportunity to ring the bell but she is also not in a good state, she really admires Zero's courage! Her eyes had tears, she couldn't bare to see Zero die! She must recover quickly, Siara felt her body was overfilling with magical aura, she was recovering very quickly.

Siara realised that she is going to breakthrough, she started to focus all her energy in breaking through to Martial Master stage 3. Siara knows that her current state can't help anyone so she needs to quickly breakthrough, she really hopes that Zero can hold on.

Su Ziya felt so guilty, she really wants to go there and help Zero! She really wants to destroy the flamming inferno bird! She knows that Zero might not escape from death this time.

She has a bad envision! That bird is up to no good!

Su Ziya saw a thousands of lighting bolt striking down at Zero's direction!

She felt scared! She doesn't want him to die! She needs to save him! Someone! Anyone please! Save him! She wants to become stronger! Strong enough to protect everyone around her. She starts to lose consciousness.

"Who dares to wake this lord up?"said a very aloof voice

Su Ziya felt so much pain, she was trying her best to not scream out loud. She had blank out a second ago, but now it felt like her chest was ripping apart! The pain was unimaginable!

"Young girl, you are still too weak! Way too weak! You can't handle my presence yet! I can't even exert any of my power!"said the aloof voice

"The bell.... Ring the bell... please ring it!"begged Su Ziya

Su Ziya couldn't withstand the pain any longer, her consciousness started to once again fade away.

The aloof voice belonged to no other than the fire phoenix. It saw a bell, and decided to ring it before it went back inside of Su Ziya's body.

Meanwhile

Lin Xia had built a house and already set up protection talisman around the house and also some arrays.

Xiao Zhan was also helping Lin Xia out.

It was already getting dark and there were no signs of them coming back. Lin Xia and Xiao Zhan started to get worried.

Lin Xia suddenly got notified, the bell was rang, that means they are in danger. Lin Xia told Xiao Zhan and they immediately left off to the direction where the bell was rang.
