14 The Mirror of... what?

I woke up on christmas with a lot of presents on the side of my bed. As i was the only girl on the room during holidays i took my time opening them and here's the list:

Harry: a good book about camping tricks.

Ron: some candy.

Hermione: camping tools, and a sleeping bag.

Dumbledore: a little red stone like a gem with a note that said, 'try holding it while conjuring your rapier wandless'

I was surprised that Dumbledore was giving me a present too but i wanted to see what it does. I tried to conjure it on my empty hand while holding the stone but it didn't work, i tried a few more times before wondering what this stone does. But then i tried to hold the stone with my right hand while using my left hand to conjure the rapier on my right hand and, for my surprise, it worked perfectly wandless, making the stone disappear and in its place Joyeuse appeared with the stone on the guard of the rapier. It seems that the stone makes the conjuration far easier than before so i made a ring with conjuration to wear the stone as a ring everywhere.

Also i should talk about my growth. In this time i couldn't really fight anything but practicing i've got fira! Blizzara! And 2 more points of mana. For a total of 73.

When i finished i went to the common room and i found Harry and Ron playing around with a piece of cloth that seemed a cloak and i got surprised when Harry putted it on and his body disappeared.

Rainy- what is that?

Ron- oh, Rainy, hi, that is an invisibility cloak. Someone gave it to Harry as a present.

Harry- this is amazing! I would really like to know who sent this...

Rainy- can i see the note?

Harry- of course. Here.

Rainy-(this is Dumbledore's writing... i guess he doesn't want Harry to know it was him.) weird. Whoever sent this, must care about you a lot.

Harry- that's the point. I don't think i have anyone like that...

Rainy- anyway, here your presents.

Then i gave both their presents. For Harry: i gave him a card with 'one free favor' written on. For Ron: i gave him a classic non-magical chessboard i made with transfiguration. After that i went to my room, i took my trunk and i made a camping session on a corner of the common room. I prepared a camping tent, i placed the trunk inside and inside the trunk, on my room, i placed the sleeping bag.

I was there all the day and part of the night on my desk, working on the homework we had for the holidays when i heard Harry call me. When i went outside the tent, i saw that Ron was also there, half-sleeping.

Harry- you guys need to see it. It's my parents!

Rainy- what?

Ron- where?

Harry- come, i'll show you.

Harry leaded the way through some corridors and stairs. Not that i cared about the curfew, but he was being really noisy. And we got to a room with a mirror on one corner. A really detailed and seemingly very valuable mirror.

Harry- look, they are here! Reflected on the mirror!

Ron- i don't see them

Harry- here, stay here. Do you see the-?

Ron- wow! I can see myself, but older.

Harry- what?

Ron- and i'm head boy! I'm also carrying the house cup! And the Quidditch cup! i'm Quidditch captain too! Do you think this shows the future!?

Harry- how can it? My parents are dead...

Ron- oh right...

Harry- Rainy. What do you see?

Rainy- let's see, let me stay there Ron.

As Ron moved i stood in front of the mirror and my image disappeared, and a second later i begun to see lands i've never seen. Wastelands, cities, and then the image stopped on a school-like place, with a lot of trees and with some magic-like circles around it. I saw some students? And they were practicing with different weapons, training. I didn't know what i was seeing until one of them said Protect! Protecting another one who was fighting some plant monster. Then the one protected said Fira! And the plant monster got burned and disappeared.

It dawned on me. That was my world. My parents world. The world i seek to find, to explore. And then something pulled me out of that room. I saw a light, and then, i was floating in the dark.

???- Interesting.

Rainy- eh? What? What happened??

???- do not worry, kid. I'll explain it to you. You were forcefully transported to this world by a really dark and powerful wizard. It seems that he tried to summon something that could give him back his life. And you, as a future SeeD, had the power to do it, while being weak enough for that wizard to summon you. He even had to use very dark magic to have the power to do so. But something backfired and you appeared on that forest.

Rainy-... what? Wait, wait, wait. I got lost on the SeeD part...

???- let me finish the story first! Ejem... so, the magic he used sealed your memories of your world until you fulfilled your duty, which is him fully revived. After that you would have recovered your memories of the other world and that would have triggered this conversation...

Rainy- wait, where are we?

???- we are inside your head.

Rainy- ok... but that didn't happen. If what you said is true, then the dark lord summoned me to make him recover his power but he's still weakened...

???- yes. but thanks to a strange artifact. You have recovered your memories. So this have been triggered nonetheless. Now the question in hand is. Do you want to stay on this world? Or go back to yours?

Rainy- the answer is pretty simple. I don't know who you are but i'll stay until i find a way to travel through the worlds freely! Then i'll explore my world as that is what i desire. After that i can continue having adventures on other worlds as the strong witch i'll be!

???- a quite ambitious kid... i do want to see if you succeed... Fine, i'll help you on your way but you must convince me with your sword! I am Odin. to him who doth vanquish me, I grant my august powers!

And with that sentence, the room we where lit up and i saw him getting up of a throne. He was really knight-like with a helmet with really big horns and a curved sword on his right hand. He then rushed on my direction wielding his sword and i thought Command! Magic! Double! Haste! Protect! He attacked me horizontally but i dodged crouching while conjuring Joyeuse and thrusting forward. He smiled and jumped backwards just out of my range before coming forward again thrusting with his sword. I dodged to my right but then he whirled to his right on the spot making another horizontal cut, but this time i'm on the air so i blocked with Joyeuse while casting incendio to his face.

He got surprised by the flame and i think he used less strength on the cut, but it still hurted as i flew through the room because of the hit. Then thanks to the haste, while flying, i thought Command! Bravery!

Supporting myself on the wall. I jumped with a lot of force against Odin thrusting while casting with my wand on the left hand lumos maxima. I got him once again and when i thought i was going to thrust him he smiled and blocked with the sword without moving while he had the eyes closed. Then he pushed me back and begun to throw cuts at a speed i couldn't follow. So i defended myself with Joyeuse and protego while receiving a lot of superficial cuts. Then i saw an opening, or so i thought, because when i attacked there with a thrust, he parried with his left hand and cut my left arm with his sword.

I felt an horrible pain even if this is inside my head, but it isn't as much as the crucio yet, close, but not yet. Then i saw the opening, him thinking he had won, and the limit break option surely available. So i thought Command! Limit Break! And i threw a barrage of thrusts to him he didn't expect, and when he jumped backwards i felt the blue lightnings around me. So i jumped forward and attacked with all my strength, to which he responded by holding the sword horizontally with his right hand on the handle and the left hand on the back of the blade. When the weapons clashed i saw how he was serious and struggled for a second before Joyeuse couldn't hold it anymore and broke. Then i fell on the ground as the only thing that was holding me in the air was the Limit Break. I didn't have more strength, nor weapon as the stone went flying through the room. And when he was going to finish me off, i rolled to the right dodging the thrust and i thought Command! Magic! Thunder! as i was stretching my right arm. A lightning flew through my arm to his face, making a moderate explosion.

Then i tried to get up and search for the stone as i couldn't concentrate on conjuration without the stone during a fight, and i saw it behind me. But before i could reach it i heard a clapping sound.

Odin- amazing! You are strong, kid! I shall grant you my powers. The next time you don't have anything to do, try to talk to me in your head. I'll tell you all you need to know about how you can extract power from Guardian Forces like me.

And with that i found myself back on the mirror room but no one was around. Not that i thought about that, i was too occupied with the joy of having my left arm back.
