Sightseeing

Rainy- Juny! Why did you came here earlier than us? You could have transported us here with you...

Juny- I had to make sure that my house was cleaned if I was going to have guests. And meanwhile I thought that it would be good if you found one or two monsters.

Ron- well, we found like 20 or 30!!

Juny- oh?

Rainy- yes, they were Needle Kissers... a lot of them.

Juny- there shouldn't be Nee- ah! Those are not Needle Kissers, those were Thunder Birds! They are similar but these can use thunder magic at a safe distance, and they don't electrocute with the needle. These are far more dangerous... how did you escape that number?

Ginny- Rainy took care of them!! it was amazing! We were running and I got tired and then she turned to the birds and used some kind of magic! And they all exploded! Twice!

Juny- ? Rainy?

Rainy- I used a Double! Firaga! with the all Materia.

Juny- ... it makes sense. But only one Firaga! would have been enough...

Rainy- yeah, but I didn't knew that the all Materia would have that effect. It really did a lot of explosions.

After talking a little more while we went to her house, we got a good sight of the city. It was a good Oriental-like city, with a lot of Japanese things. But at the same time it had this other world feeling. Like things didn't add up. For example, they didn't looked like they were motorized, because the streets are for people only. But I saw some automated robots, and the soldiers looked futuristic with their outfit and weapons. It was also weird that a captain of the soldiers that we crossed with because he knew Juny, had a katana. I mean, is having a melee weapon here stronger than a gun? That would mean that they can dodge or stop bullets with their weapons, and that would mean that the average strength and speed for this world would be way higher than the one in the wizarding world.

After some more walking we reached a traditional Japanese-like house if it wasn't for the automatic paper doors. It really seems that they developed on another direction than the wizarding world. Is this what the magic and enhanced humans do to the society? It's weird, but it also has a home-like feeling that makes me wonder if my world will also be a weird modern society.

Juny- this is my house, it has been our family house since before the cataclysm.

Rainy- the cataclysm?

Juny- yeah. Some time ago, a crazy guy tried to destroy the world by throwing a giant meteorite to the earth. The world defended himself with it's own life force but it was pretty devastating. Thanks to my ancestor and her friends, the crazy guy met his end. And all the event was called the cataclysm with the time... it was pretty bad for the Materia, you know? A lot less of Materia grows nowadays...

Ron- it seems that crazy weirdos are on all the worlds no?

Juny- haha, yeah, and this one is not the worst on our universe! I heard that the one on Rainy's world was a witch that tried to compress all the times into only one, inside her palace, and conquer all the times and spaces at the same time, being the eternal queen, or god, or whatever was on her mind.

Rainy-... wow... that's some serious power... I'm not really that strong right?

Juny- don't worry about that, ancestral magic like summoning a meteorite or compressing the time, are not something one can accomplish. They did some serious sacrifices or directly used external power. I mean, my ancestor left her level paper and she was level 72 I think, and that's between second and third half on the Daijuroku. If the bad guy could be defeated by a group of levels 70-80 I'm pretty sure that he didn't have the power to use his magic and bring a meteorite from the outer space.

Rainy- let me guess, he used a special Materia

Juny- exactly, and one that only his race could use. And to use it he went to the place with the most source of energy from the planet to use it, so that he would use the energy from the planet to use the Materia because he himself couldn't.

Rainy-... then which level do you think I'll need if I want to defeat The Last Half?

Juny- with all I've seen, you would need at least the level 90-100 to defeat the Fourth Half, so maybe that would be enough if they are close in power. Or you might need even more than what we can measure, if he's as powerful as the Fourth Half always says.

Ron- all this theme is pretty interesting but I'm hungry...

After eating on Juny's house we separated to sightsee a little, and Juny gave us some money to spend. (didn't she said that she wanted money for something?) I went to the Materia store. There I found some interesting Materia, but none of them that impressive. I mean, the gravity Materia interested me, but I was sure that I would naturally learn that sooner or later. After that, I went to the armor shop and I saw an armlet that had 6 holes for Materia, and it interested me so I bought it.

After equipping the new armlet with the only three Materia I have, I went to hunt a little. Juny told us to go to her house for dinner and tomorrow she would show us the airship, so I wanted to fight some strong foes before dinner, even if I hadn't recovered yet my mana. The lunch and the sightseeing helped me, so now I had 30/158 mana but that was it. And yes, I got 3 more mana for obliterating those birds, pretty sure that it has something to do with the little thing that enters my body each time I kill something.

It was already getting late when I found an adamantaimai, a giant monster Juny told me to be careful about. It is nearly immune to magic and the physical attacks are difficult to do because of his shell. What I did was two well used Thrustara! On his head, and he died pretty easily, even if his head was also hard. I did it fast because Juny told me that his attacks hurt a lot.

When I finished, I went back to Juny's house and there we had dinner and went to sleep.

Rainy- (Odin, do you think I should have some fun with Ron and Ginny? Or should I train more?)

Odin- (I personally am the type of being that would just continue training. But if you are just asking for an opinion, you should do both. You can train while on the journey and also sightsee the world. And you can try to find a fighting tournament to have fun while training. Or try to catch a chocobo by yourself when you get to the farm. I'm sure they'll tell you how.)
