6 Qin An's Secret

"Come here please." Qin An said, beckoning the trio to her position at the edge of the empty field. "Ace, bring us to the house." A robotic whirling started and the ground beneath the group opened and they fell onto a comfy seat in a transparent ball. The ball started rolling at high speed on a track before stopping at a huge red door. The journey was, of course accompanied by the hyena screaming from Si Si.

Qin An quickly stepped out and bypassed security to open the door. With open arms she invited the still disoriented Chen Xue and Xian Ren in. A haggard looking Si Si followed closely behind.

"Where are we?" Chen Xue surveyed the house in awe. It was a living room that looked like it was out of the technological knowledge of current humans. A humanoid wearing a suit, greeted them, "Good afternoon, master and guests, I'm Ace, housekeeper of the Su family."

"Ace, bring some drinks and light snacks," Qin An instructed, before ushering the team upstairs, and into her 'work' room.

Upon settling down, everyone looked at Qin An in a new light, and even Si Si had to hide her admiration for her. Qin An quickly gave a quick explanation. She was actually a genius that the government had working for them. Even with the high pay she was getting, she wasn't happy. She wanted to use her intellect to design something for herself, and the chance came when she inherited some money and this plot of land from her parents. The money was enough for her to hire some builders to dig a space large enough for her underground house.

To prevent the government from being able to find out about her latest design of ventilation which makes living underground possible, she had to hire different workers to work on different section of the house.

As Qin An explained, Chen Xue couldn't help but sense the pride she had for her work. He stared at her eyes glinting with glee, her whole face seemed to lit up when she went into the cool features of the house, and he subconsciously smiled as well. Unbeknownst to him, the mysterious feeling that he felt when he first saw those puppy dog eyes grew even more.

"The house seem really cool and all but how are we going to observe the forest?" Si Si asked, pulling Qin An back to the task at hand.

A huge grin was plastered on Qin An face, and she replied, "Well let's eat some things first before I saw you what's really cool.~" Just as she finished, Ace stepped into the room with the said drinks and snacks.
