Next day,

Verch arrived in front of the cafe as Veronica told him to. 

Ethan was sitting outside with a book covering his face.

Veronica was waiting for him in a table.

They sat together. 

Vr, "How you doing these days?"

V, "What do you think~"

Vr, "Is aunt okay? I heard from Jeff. She was admitted again. I was planning to pay a visit with you."

V, "None of your concerns. Stay out of my family matters."

Vr, "Are you still mad at me? I explained myself. Are you not satisfied?"

V, "None of your explaination can bring us back together. You only wanted me for my father's position."

Vr, "That's not true Verch-"

V, "Stop calling me that. I cant stand you anymore."

Verch stood up and walks off from the indoor cafe.

Ethan was standing outside waiting for Verch.

E, "She's Veronica?"

V, "Who else do you think I'll be talking to."

E, "She's pretty. Looks rich."

V, "Cant you think of anything without it!"

E, "Nothing's possible without it."

Verch walks toward his car.

E, "Hey!"

Verch looks back, "What is it?"

E, "Can i Call you by your real name?"

V, "…"

Next day,

Verch went to visit his mother. When he came out, He saw Ethan standing outside.

V, "what are you doing here?"

E, "I came to see how your mom's doing."

V, "You shouldnt- "

E, "Stop ordering me around. You dont pay me for that.

Anyway, I'll go inside and say a quick hello."

Verch couldnt agrue with him any longer. He let Ethan enter the room.

Few moments later, He came outside.

Both stood infront of each other without saying anything.

V, "You want me to drop you home?"

E, "Dont flex so much cause you have a car."

V, "Whatever~

Get in."

In the middle of car ride, A traffic happened.

All the cars were standing still.

Both were quiet and awkward while minding their bussiness.

E, "Your mom...she's"

Verch couldnt let him finish the sentence. He slowly puts his down on the car-wheel.

V, "I know..."

She looked...awful. The doctor said her recovery isnt possible without her own will on it. But...it looked like, Verch's mother herself dosent want to recover.

E, "I can...give you a solution for it."

V, "What is it...?"

E, "forget it."

V, "Ethan! Help me out. You're the only one who can."

E, "I cant let you follow my way. It may end up being dangerous."

V, "I dont care what it is. All i know is that...I must protect her. I cant lose her...So please..."

E, "…"

V, "Can you not-"

E, "Those who listened to me...ended up having miserable life. But...if you insist."

V, "what's your solution?"

E, "Run away...with her. This way, You dont have to live in your father's power."

V, "…"

E, "Think about it...later."

Ethan got off the car while Verch was still in his shock and absent mind.

Verch came back home. When he entered, A woman sitting on the sofa stood up.

It was Veronica. It seemed like She was waiting for a while now.

V, "Why are you here?"

Vr, "I was passing by. Wanted to see you-"

V, "You can leave now."

Vr, "(After waiting for so long!)"

"I went to see your mom. She looks better right~"

V, "Dont involve yourself in my family matters. Get out."

Vr, "verch, listen to me-"

V, "I told you to leave now!"

Verch went up to the stairs without looking back.He didnt stop until he reached the roof.

While standing in the edge, Leaning himself on the wall, He lets the wind flow through him.

He slowly closed his eyes with a hope of better days.

J, "You came back quickly today "

V, "Jeff..."

J, "how's she?"

V, "Cant you visit her yourself?"

J, "Dad's been...keeping me busy with office works."

V, "Again with that..."

J, "…"

V, "Jeff, I wanted to ask something..."

J, "what is it?"

V, "…Can we move far away from here?

I mean...Away from everthing. From dad's power. Three of us living far away from his touch."

J, "…"

V, "Is it...really not possible?"

J, "I thought about it too...But you should know that, Three of us together is no match with father. If we run away, how can we arrange the money...our living expense, your tution fees,mom's treatments."

V, "…So, is there really no way...to protect her."

J, "…I'll meet you downstairs."

Jeff left Verch quietly on the roof.

A moment passed, Verch was still standing all by himself on the roof.

His phone rings, [Ethan]

He picks it up,

V, "…"

E, "Still thinking about what i said?"

V, "…"

E, "You rich spoiled kids really cant live on their own right."

Was it something he said

Or something about him, 

That made Verch smile.

The phone hungs up after their small converstaion.

At night,

Ethan lays down in his bed. He puts on a headphone.While listening the music, Something reminded him about V~

He thought to himself, "I wonder if he's awake..."

"Should I text him...?"

"Should I not...?"

[V,"hey~awake?"

 E,"Nope...Im sleepy."

 V,"ok..." ]

E, "Im glad he's gone..."

After a while, Ethan turns around and saw Verch sleeping beside him.

E, "(Is it a dream...?Am I dreaming...?)"

V, "Sleepy but still awake."

E, "None of your bussiness. Who allowed you to come in."

V, "I was told that Im always welcomed here."

E, "mom...?"

V, "It's late now. Let's sleep. I dont wanna go back."

E, "I'll take a shower."

Went to the washroom. Clearly there wasnt any reason for Verch to lay down. He stood up and started looking around Ethan's room. There were a lot of books around.

He accidently drops a book.

while trying to pick it up, A picture fell down.It probably fell from the book.

Verch was kind of curious about the picture. He picks it up,

In the picture, There was two guys standing closely. One of them was Ethan and the other one was unknown to Verch. 

He stares at the picture for a long time. Something about the picture was strange.

Verch never saw Ethan so happy with someone. They were also standing so closely as if they know each other really well.

Ethan came out. He saw Verch holding the picture.He snatches it away.

E, "Dont touch my stuff."

V, "…

E, "If you wanna sleep in the bed, I'll stay in the sofa."

V, "I dont wanna make you feel uncomfortable. You can take the bed. I'll sleep somewhere else."

E, "Fine. Let's stay in the bed."

The night passed smoothly. Next morning, When both were sleeping, Ethan' mom started shouting.

EM, "Ethan! Are you sleeping!?!"

E, "Verch, Wake up. My mom's coming."

V, "Let~ me sleep a little longer~"

Ethan's mom came in without knocking.

Verch was startled. He jumps off.

Em, "Oh dear~ Verch right?"

V, "Good morning aunt."

Em, "It's you again. And Again, I havent seen you entering from the door "

E, "He isnt used to entering from the door."

Em, "Would you like to have breakfast with us?"

E, "Mom, Please Leave. We'll come later."

V, "I have to go."

E, "Stay for the breakfast-"

V, "I shouldnt be here for long ...or else-"

E, "I understand. You can leave. I'll talk to mom."

Verch nods and left.

6 days passed. There was no sign of Verch anywhere.He didnt attend school. None of his classmates knows where he is. 

Jeff or Verch himself wasnt answering Ethan's call.

One day, Ethan was walking around in his room.Probably worried about Verch.

Beside that, He kept asking himself, why was he worrying about him?

Suddenly, His phone rings 

[Verch]

E, "Hello!"

V, "Can we meet outside your house?"

E, "…"

V, "Dont reject me.

I'm already here."

E, "Im busy-"

V, "You want me to come up there and greet Aunt?"

E, "Fine, Im coming."

Before going out, Ethan looked outside his window,

Verch was standing outside with his bike, Waiting for Ethan.

When he came down,

E, "Where are you taking me?"

V, "You'll see. For now, Just sit down."

Verch stopped his bike infront of a club.

The sun was down. Everything was dark all around.

Ethan wasnt bothering to ask question like, "where were you these days" or "why are we here."

Anyone could guess how painful it was for Verch.

Ethan followed him in.

The while club was decorated with lights. People were dancing and hyping each other up on the dance floor.

Verch knocked in the drink bar.

An hour passed. Both here heavily drunked.

They were walking carelessly.

Ethan pulled himself together before getting drunk completely,

"Stop drinking already. You'll get sick."

V, "I want more."

E, "I'll take you outside. Come with me."

He wrapped Verch's arm around him and carries him to the parking lot.

The sky was blazing with thunder sounds and cold wind. 

E, "It's going to rain soon. We should go back. But this guy's completely passed out. Guess I'll have to drive now."

The rain has already started when they were driving back.

In a point, They came across a path where there was no car aeound. 

The rain started heavily.

There were roads in the middle of two-side forest.

E,"We wont make it. Let's wait for the rain to stop."

He parked the bike beside a tree and puts Verch down beside a tree.

Suddenly, The drunk expression of Verch has changed into a completely sober person.

E, "You okay?"

V,"I wasnt drunk."

E,"…let's stay here for a while."

He sat down beside Verch.

V, "That day, In your room...I saw a picture..."

E, "In that picture...It was me and my ...

ex-boyfriend"

V, "…"

Verch ran in to the middle of road.

E, "Where you going! You'll get wet!"

V, "I dont care anymore!"

Ethan followed him to the rain.

The rain drop was falling on them.

They were completely wet in rain.

But nothing seemed to effect them anymore.

ethan closed verch's eyes with his hands. then he came in front of him and removed his hands. it was raining, they were already full wet. then verch suddenly felt someone breathe too close to his face. he opened his eyes only to know ethan was asking for his opinion. he said "if you want, you can come closer or push me away". Verch couldnt believe that somehow somewhere he wanted to but instead of going with the flow he had to decide whether to kiss or not. Cause this way he couldnt blame anyone else. the next second he found himself leaning in their lips touched in this rain, it felt more angelic. ethans hand was crawling from his waist to his back. verchs  hands were around ethans neck. after a while, it got tensed.

When the rain stopped, They slowly drove their bike infront of Ethan's house.

He got off but wasnt willing to leave.

E,"I'll see you tonorrow then..."

V, "Yea. Take care. 

Text me before sleeping."

E, "…"

Verch gave an annoyed look and pulled Ethan collar. He moved his head more closer. Their lips were attached on to each other's. After parting with a great difficulty,

V, "Dont try to act cute. Next time I wont show mercy."

E, "…"

Without looking back, He slowly walks inside.

He went inside his room and slowly closes the door.

But he was freaking out inside. 

Something starnge got into him.

He started cuddling with the pillows and rolling from here to there with a shy and blushing face.

Phone: Ding~

He tries to reach the phone and check the message,

「V, "Stop freaking out. You know You're not the panicked one~＊"」
