Chance Encounter 3

Reluctant still for this small excursion, the young crown prince can't help himself but to pout everytime he remember that where they are going was just some dilapidated town. Never mind that the town was once famous in this country. He still thinks that it is beneath his station to be paraded in a town. Hell, his mother the queen will have a fit if she learn about this small escapade. Heads will be rolling literally. It is a great insult to the Royal family mind you, he was just puzzled that the head of this state allowed it or even the Royal secretary.

Still lamenting for this lame excuse of trip, he didn't pretend to listen to what his manservant is telling him about the town or the history of it. He was just not interested and he only wanted it to be over with!

Knowing that their crown prince was displeased beyond belief, the Royal secretary who is in charge of this Royal visit secretly wiped the sweats that almost drenched his face and clothes. Even though the car they are in is air conditioned, it doesn't help him one bit. Although he knew that the queen and king already approved the schedule for their Royal son's, if the crown prince complain just a tiny bit to his parents about his displeasure then his head if not going to roll out then he will be unceremoniously thrown out of his dignified position. And so, he silently gritted his teach and try to placate the situation albeit tragically failing. He was on the verge of accepting defeat and in the point of letting the head of state know that they change their mind when a sudden change from his young charge caught his attention.

What about it your highness? silently cursing himself for being seen as incompetent, he adamantly asked his young ward.
