7 Chapter 6: Meet Rakesh and Reihta

The male dragons walked towards her while she was stepping backward. Her dragon notice it so he stop walking and introduce himself in front of them.

"I am Rakesh, a Fire breathing dragon." He said putting his hand into his chest as a gratitude of respect.

"And this is my sibling. Reihta " He added then pointing his sibling who is now looking at them furrowing eyes brows.

"I know you were shocked to know my other formed. But believe me I won't hurt you or either them. I just glad that you saved my life the very first day we've meet. I never thought there would be a person who is not afraid of me." He said which is amazed by Rachel.

Rachel cleared her throat and tried to ask him, "W-w-why did you not tell me that you can transformed into human in the first place?" Rachel ask.

"I'm sorry transforming into human is prohibited in our world. If they find out that human knows about our other formed there's a possibility they can use this to tamed all the dragons." Rakesh said.

"But still, you should let me know about this? I'm having a hard time to communicate with you or when I have to hide you somewhere." Rachel said.

"Apologize for giving you a hard time to hide me. But I can't let you know that at first since I want to know who are really you." Rakesh said.

"Okay, hold up a second. Does all the dragons and monsters can transformed into humans?" Rachel's father interfere their conversation.

"Yes, but there is a difference for you to determine if that person was a monster or a dragons." Rakesh said then he turn around with them and he showed them his back.

"Do you see something in my back? Or a symbol? Or a pattern? If that person have this kind of symbol, it means they were my allied. But if that person have different symbols not like mine. For sure that person was a monster." He added.

"But how can we determine if that person was really a monster or dragon? Here in our village if you have something like that on your back you can think of that as a tattoo. Or something like a henna tattoo." Joe said.

"That is easy..." Rakesh said.

"When you saw someone have like this or do you think it was a tattoo. All of us dragons and monster never allowed anyone to touch it. It was prohibited part of us." He added.

"But why don't you allowed anyone to touch it? it was just a tattoo?" Rachel ask.

"If someone touch our symbols. Something will strange happen to that person and to us creatures. That person's eyes will be different from a normal person. That person can use our ability even if that person was a human. Also when someone touch our symbol all of us will be tamed easily. Even if we do not want to follow it once that person who tamed us ordered it, we will obey it easily." Rakesh said.

"But, how come that I tamed you?" Rachel ask.

"Oh, that? Let's just say I'm pretending that you already tamed me. Since it wasn't for you I literally dead by now. Also, I want to pay my debt for you rescuing me. That is why I follow your orders" Rakesh said.

Rachel realizes that she did not tamed the dragon. "But why? I thought I already tamed you" Rachel said with a sad expression and voice.

"I'm sorry if I give you false hope... This is the first time that there were humans like you are too good with us creatures. Although at first you are scared of me, but then instead of running away you help me without even think that I might hurt you back" Rakesh said. Rachel sighed but she smiles gently at him.

"It's okay... Now that I know you can be human, but why you did not use it? I mean every time you went to the villagers were mostly people are around them?" Rachel ask.

"Honestly, I can't stayed longer by using human formed. It was too difficult and hard to stay like this. Also there was a slightly difference even though we can formed a human. We can still used our abilities even though we are human formed. And it will hard for us to control it." Rakesh said. That shocked Rachel to find out that Rakesh and his siblings have powers.

"C-can I see your powers?" Rachel said asking permission if she can see his powers. Rakesh was a little bit hesitated until he nod at Rachel. Then he raise one of his hands and something was going outside from his hand turns out that it was a fire. Rachel and her family amazed of how Rakesh show his powers.

In Rachels eyes and facial expressions amused of how Rakesh shows his ability without hesitation.

"Are you not afraid if I might surrender you to our leader or someone who wants to get all of you?" Rachel ask. Rakesh shrug his head and said. "Nope, also if you will going to tell about us. Then I have no choice but to erase all your memories towards us. You know just for safety. And also I know you won't do that."

"How can you be so sure, that I won't tell anyone about you?" Rachel said. But Rakesh shrugs his shoulders.

"I don't know, just a hunch maybe? Also I know you can't tell that to anyone except for this guy Erick? If I am right... You seems to be a nice person than to others so I highly doubt that you won't do something that may harm us." Rakesh said. 100% sure that Rachel won't betray him.

"But still, what if I unintentionally betrayed you? What will gonna happen?" Rachel ask.

"Well, if that happens. I need to say this, there's no guarantee you and your families safety. After all, humans think that we eat people. But there are dragons who can eat as meat. But there were also dragons like you people, who are only eat green leaves or what you call it as herbivores." Rakesh said.

A minute later Rakesh sibling also known as Reihta transform into dragon again. All of them surprise until Rakesh also transform into dragon. So Rachel was now embarrassed to caress Rakesh since she now knows that Rakesh can be human too and she hasn't tamed him yet. She sighed and look at him. Rakesh seems to be confuse but Rachel only smiles at him.

Rachel and her parents went inside the house and talk about Rachel's idea.

"Now that we know that your dragon, I mean this Rakesh hasn't tamed yet, what will you gonna do now?" Her father ask.

"Actually dad, I still don't know. Now that I know I haven't tame him, and there's no guarantee of my safety. I don't think helping him is a good idea" Rachel said.

"But then, he's depending on you Rachel. What do you think he will think once he finds out that you won't helping him now? I know that even me was against to your idea at first by helping this dragons to get them to safety but still once they find out the truth what will gonna happen to you? They also said that your safety is not guarantee so meaning they could still harm you" Her mother said.

"I know that mom, but the thing is that... I'm scared that he might kill me or worse is that he also eat me alive" Rachel said.

"We know that Rachel but we also knows that dragon was depending on you. So there's a 50-50 chances that they will let you live or they will kill you" Her father said.

"What am I suppose to do now dad? If I help them there's no guarantee for my safety, but If I refuse to help them there's a chances that they will erase my memories also they will eat me alive." Rachel said.

"I'm scared dad. I don't know why I help him in the first place" She added she is so regretful helping the dragon when she saw him in the woods have wounds in his body.

"I don't know, Rach but believe me. I won't let that dragon harm you" Her father words says determine to save Rachel from the dragon.

"But dad, he's too powerful. Also he's a prince in their kind. That means we don't have anything against him" Rachel said.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. I promise that" Her father said again. Then Rachel hugs his father. Either of them knows that Rakesh was observing them in the window and listening to their conversation. He never realizes that the lady who helps him was so regretful saving him. Well he can't blame them since he told them that.

He feels so disappointed, but also regret saying that to her. Thinking that there would be a no guarantee that humans and dragons can become friends. He sighed and look at his siblings who is persistent waiting for him in the forest.

He shrugs his head meaning that the lady which is Rachel don't have any decisions yet by helping them or not. But his siblings was running out of patience, she wanted to leave now and help their other kind but she knows that maybe her brother was up to something.

"Let's just find out tomorrow, for now let's take a rest." Rakesh said.

"Hey, do you believe that this girl (Rachel) will help us?" Reihta said. Rakesh don't know how will he answer that question. But instead of answering he just said, "Let's just sleep" Then he sleep in the corner. Reihta sighed and sleep beside him. Although Rakesh can't sleep thinking that maybe Rachel will refuse helping them. What will she answer?
