3 Chapter 2: She tamed a Dragon

When Rachel finally out of that store she quickly hides near the bushes and trying to look at the two creatures fighting.

The dragon trying to bite the monster's neck when the monster bites its leg causing the dragon to crawl in pain. The dragon quickly slashes the monster who is biting its leg but the monster seems as good at fighting. The monster stops biting when it notices that the dragon was about to hit the monster by the arms. The dragon begins to cautions in its action because of the bite of the monster on its leg. The dragon can't stand up long in the battle causing its feet to get wounds by the monster.

On the contrary, the advantage of the dragon against the monster is its fire breathing. The dragon begins to breathe fire and pointing out the monster who is attacking the dragon's body. Their fight is against by strategy and strength the dragon has a brain that not all the monster can know about it. The dragon regains his strength to blast off his last shot to the monster. When the monster notices Rachel getting out of the store, the monster quickly turns its body to harm the lady. And because of that the dragon finally spits its final blow to the monster which causing the monster to get him and burned by the fire. When Rachel finally outside of the store she again looks at what was happening to the two creatures.

The dragon breathes heavily tired and full of wounds. The dragon lay on the floor for taking a rest not knowing that all the human could see him. Rachel enters again inside the store she knows that the monster was now dead but the thing she was worried about the dragon who always inside of her head keeps repeating every day. The dragon saves her life when she was young, and the dragon saves her life once again.

The dragon notices her presence, the dragon looks at her with pleading eyes. Rachel's eyes became weary, she begins to cry silently just to not burst into tears. She carefully cares the dragons head that makes the dragon calm, But the dragon sense the other humans who are entering the store, the dragon stand up on its feet and because of its wounds it became harder for the dragon to run so when the police officers went inside the store the dragon quickly carried Rachel which shocks her in surprise and before she makes a react, the dragon flew away in the sky together with Rachel on its hands.

All the people amazed at what was the dragon looks like. In 200 BC they never thought that there was still a dragon in their century. They thought all the dragons are gone but after what they saw, they now believe that there are still dragons in their century which are silently live to nowhere to be found.

The dragon was still carefully holding Rachel not to fall while they were flying. Rachel notices that they were too far from her city. And now they were heading to a forest which she hasn't know what was this forest. The dragon finally stops flying and went down near ashore to drink water. Rachel notices the dragon looks tired, and the dragon has a net wrap on its body. She hasn't noticed that during the dragon and the monster fighting all along. So how did she not notice the net? She immediately dismissed the thought and help the dragon free in the net.

She carefully cut the net wrap on the dragon's body. When the dragon finally free from the net, the dragon quickly lick Rachel in her face, and since it's her first time someone licking her she giggled by tickle from the dragon. The dragon seems to love her and Rachel quickly light-hearted to the dragon. She knew that it wouldn't be easy for her to bring the dragon home so she can't stay longer in the forest. Her family might be worried if she does not home early.

She begins to enumerate to the dragon her reason to get home.

"Hey, I'm sorry but I know I like having you to be my friend but my family would be worried if I'm not home yet. I need to go home so they wouldn't worry about me. But I promise I will be here again tomorrow after class." But the dragon looks at her confused the only the dragon understands was the word 'home'. So the dragon quickly understands her but before Rachel went home she first takes care of the dragon's wounds just like before when she was little saved by this dragon.

After Rachel cure again the dragon's wounds, the dragon brought Rachel home to safety. The dragon used its wings for them to fly safely. And when the dragon finally helps Rachel got home, Rachel suddenly runs to get inside. But Rachel stops and thought about the dragon if it was already left so she didn't look back but when she was about to close the door, she spotted the dragon hiding in the trees looking at her. Does she begin to panic she doesn't know what to do? Does she also think of how she would hide a big dragon without nobody noticing its presence?

As soon as she got home she immediately went to her room and quickly pick up everything she needed. Like rope, foods, and also the collar. She buys that before everything happened. But when she got close to the dragon she suddenly stops realizing that she can't do that alone. She needs a companion to help her build a place for the dragon. Not literary a house but at least a cage or something that will make the dragon stay and not following her anywhere.

And she might know who's that person that could help her in free. She contacts that person through the phone. After a couple of seconds, someone answered the phone.

"Hello?" someone says.

"Uhh, is this George? I need to talk to him. Can you tell him the one calling for him was Rachel his childhood friend?" Rachel said.

"Okay, I'll call him." Someone says after that Rachel wait for a minute and finally, George was on the other line.

"Rachel! It's good to hear from you again. Why you sudden call? Do you want me to teach you again?" George says which Rachel laughs.

"Hahaha no, it's not about that why I call you" She replied.

"If it's not about that, then what was it?" George asks.

"Uhh, it's hard to tell you. But can you drop by here? And bring your tools to build a house?" She asks.

"House?? Are you kidding me? That's a lot of work and I don't think I can do that on my own." George exclaimed.

"Not a house... I mean, a little house like, a cage perhaps, maybe a dog house?" She said not so sure if it was right for the dragon she can't tell the truth which makes George confused.

"What exactly do you want me to build?" George asks impatiently.

"Just a big dog house. I will tell you everything once we met up in the forest. I will send you the details." She said then hung up the phone. After they finished she begin to type every letter to send the details to her friend after that she walk from where the dragon who's still waiting for her.

She rides the dragon and they were fly together heading to the forest.

"I will meet someone and also I want you to meet him. But please before I call you let me explain first everything to him okay?" Rachel said to the dragon which it cannot understand every single she says. Rachel notices the confused look on the dragon she sighed.

"Just hide for a while. I'll call you when everything is done" She said. After that, the dragon went inside the forest and hide.

A minute passed George finally arrived at to they're meeting place. And Rachel patiently waiting for him arrives.

"Hey, so what now? I brought all my tools as you told me in your message I didn't bring anyone, my colleagues." He said.

"Before that, I want to say that before you met my friend or pet. Don't ever freak out because it's nice and he won't eat you" Rachel said.

"Don't tell me you tame a lion?" George said laughing. "Or maybe you tame a crocodile because it won't gonna happen" he added jokingly.

"No, none of the above. You see, it's very difficult to everyone knows about my friend or pet, but I'm telling you that creature was nice I can't say if it was friendly but it won't harm you if you don't do anything that causes my friend to attack you" She said.

"Alright. Now let me see your friend so I can meet it" George said.

"Just don't freak out okay? It was scary to all humans but I can say it was a protector of mine when I'm in danger" She said.

"Whatever, and don't worry I won't cause anything to make false alarm your friend," He said.

"My friend was a dragon, it's color is red and huge." She said.

"Dragon? You serious about that?" George said asking her.

"It would be better if I show you," She said. Then afterward, she raised her hand gesturing the dragon to show up.

A moment later, the dragon went out of the forest which makes George's eyes wide open nervously and shiver. George falls from the grass to see how big the creature was ahead of his friend Rachel.

"So... Y-you tamed a dragon?" George asks still glued to the dragon. Rachel smiled at the dragon.

"Yes, I tamed a dragon," Rachel said.
