15 Chapter 14: Signs...

After Rakesh teach them Rachel went beside Rakesh and look at the moon. She saw Rakesh was inhaling deeply and she also saw that Rakesh was glowing like the moon.

She can't help but to be amazed what was happening to him and when the glows ended Rakesh open his eyes and saw Rachel in front of him.

"What are you doing here? And why are you still awake?" Rakesh ask.

"Uh, nothing. I just wanna go outside to breath fresh air." Rachel said. Rakesh wasn't convince to her excuse but he let her what she wanted to do.

Rachel sit next to him and she also watch the sun. But Rachel couldn't stand the quiet so she ask him. " Rakesh?"

"Hmm?" Rakesh responded.

"Umm... I'm just curious... Who do you think was the person who knows about us?" Rachel ask.

Rakesh look at her and said, "I think I know who he is but... I can't say the same way to you. Since he was precious to you" Rakesh said. Rachel don't know what he was talking so Rakesh continued. "Remember the last time before your parents meet me? And also your schoolmate or friends?" Rachel nodded.

"Do you still remember the person I first meet? Aside from you?" Rakesh added, and Rachel trying to think if who was the first person that Rakesh meet with her. Until she realizes that it was George.

"Wait, are you accusing that George betrayed us?" Rachel ask. And without hesitation Rakesh nodded at her.

"That's stupid! George would never do that to me.... He will never betray me Rakesh" Rachel said.

"I know that you will react like this Rachel. But why do you think after your talk with him why George did not contact you again?" Rakesh ask that made Rachel speechless.

"M-maybe, he was... Busy? You know, he was Engineer that's normal of him to become busy?" Rachel said.

"You think that is the only reason why he did not contact you for the past few days?" Rakesh said.

"Look, I know you're suspecting him but believe me, he won't betray us. He won't betray me" Rachel said still unsure of her answer.

"Let's just hope that my hunch is wrong. But what will you do if I am right?" Rakesh said looking straight to her eyes.

"I... I... I don't know... But I'm sure he won't do that to me. We've been friends for a long time. I'm sure he won't" Rachel said. And Rakesh sighed he was now looking at the moon.

A minute passed when Rakesh spoke. "You know, it hurts when you suspicious your friend. But it's so much hurt when one of your friend whom you trusted betrayed you" Rakesh said that made Rachel confuse. When Rachel did not answer Rakesh continued. "You see, I have this friend who I truly trust. I trust her with all of my heart. Since that I fell in love with her. But one day, she betrayed me." Rakesh said and look at her.

Rachel don't know how she could response to what he said, so she kept silent and Rakesh again continue. "I just find out that she was using me to get information to fought against us. At first, I never believe it... But in the end, I know that she is part of our enemy." Rakesh said.

"I'm so sorry to hear that..." Rachel said.

"It's okay, it was from the past. But my point is that, once you know your friend betrayed you, you will feel pain in your heart as if someone take something from you" Rakesh said. He look at the sun who is now covering with the clouds.

"You know, the reason why I told you this is because, I can feel what you are feeling right now... When someone thinks that your friend betraying you but you can't believe it. But in the end, it was true all along. You've been fooled for so long that you think she or he cannot do that to you." Rakesh said.

Rachel look at the moon who is now showing... "When you told me this, I can feel how hurtful it was... But I'm sure he won't do that... I believe in him. But if ever you were right, for sure it will take too long to heal the wounds he made" Rachel said.

"I'm sorry if I suspecting your friend. I just wanted to protect my comrades" Rakesh said.

"It's okay, I understand." Rachel said, she stands up and said. "I'll go inside see you tomorrow." She added, Rakesh only nod at her and when Rachel left. Rakesh sighed and look again to the moon.

He ask the moon for a sign, if there was a hope for them to live in peace or if not. He don't know what else he have to do.

He fell asleep thinking of a way for them to live in peace.

He woke up in the middle of the night when her sister wakes him up.

He was rubbing his eyes when he ask her, "Hey, why you wake me up suddenly?" Rakesh said.

Reihta seems to be in distress but what causing her to act like this?

"Umm, brother there's something I have to tell you." Reihta said that made Rakesh fully wake up.

"What is it this time?" Rakesh ask.

"Rachel's and family were not inside the cabin... I don't know where are they but when I look inside no one human there" Reitha said that shocked Rakesh. He quickly transformed into human and check the cabin.

There's no sign of them, no sign if they left or not. No sign if they were inside or not.

"What the hell!" Rakesh shout he don't know but he felt frustrated. They were having a plan to go to their Grandma later then they were gone all of a sudden?

He quickly transformed into dragon and ask his sister for help.

"Help me find them!" Rakesh ordered her and Reihta nod at him.

They began to find Rachel and her family when Rakesh remembered that he implanted a telepathy so he can contact all of them. He calmed himself first before he thinks of them and to finally contact them.

When he thinks he already connected to them he ask them.

"Where the hell all of you go!?" Rakesh said.

On the other hand Rachel and her family plans to escape since her Father wasn't really agrees to Rakesh Ideas to make Rachel go with him and to put all of them in danger.

"But dad, we already talked about this with him. For sure he will be mad if he finds out that all of us were gone? For sure he will find his way to find us." Rachel said.

"Rach, tell me why you're so defending on him? I cannot let him go with him alone even though he said that he will protect you. I can't believe him. After all he is still a dragon who can transformed into humans." Rachel said.

"But dad please, it would make this trouble for us, and to them" Rachel said.

"No more buts Rachel. Believe me, you will thank me after all we did" Rachel's father said. She sighed but then later on suddenly they heard Rakesh voice.

"Where the hell all of you go!?" Rakesh said in their minds. That shocked all of them. They thought Rakesh already found them.

Until Rachel remember that Rakesh implanted telepathy to contact each other.

"Rakesh?" Rachel said on her mind.

"IT IS ME! WHERE ARE YOU?" Rakesh said.

"I-I'm sorry Rakesh it was just my father. Hope you forgive him." Rachel said.

"What do you mean Rachel please, come back here I need you" Rakesh said that fluttered and blush Rachel. She don't know how to response to him since this is the first time that someone told her that he needs her.

"Umm, I don't know if I could go back. But I will try to convince my dad, for now we were heading down from your base since you were located in the mountain please hurry up and get here so you can stop us from leaving" Rachel said that makes Rakesh nod at her. He stops communicating with her and decided to follow them when Reihta saw him.

"Did you find them? I almost search around our base but there's no sign of them here" Reihta said.

"Don't worry I know where they are now. So you can rest for a bit and bring them tomorrow to their Grandma" Rakesh said but Reihta grab Rakesh hand to stop him from leaving.

"Will you still help them even though they tried to fool us?" Reihta said.

"Yes, and no. I need Rachel to lead us and find a safer place for us to live here. And no I will never help her. It's just our kind needs to get a place for us to be unknown." Rakesh said not looking at his sister.

"Are you sure about this Rakesh? It's not that I can't believe them I mean I don't want our kind to be trapped by humans" Reihta said.

"Don't worry if it will happen..." Rakesh said and look at her. "I already made up my mind. If that happen I rather want to kill myself if I let my comrades die from this humans" Rakesh added.

After a long seconds of staring to each other Reihta sighed and let Rakesh leave.
