14 Chapter 13: Reunite...

The three were currently flying when Rachel thought of something... His friend George he never showed up after their last talked inside the forest where she ask him to help her make a house for Rakesh. But after that there's no word coming out from him again. It was like he was disappeared?

A minute passed when they reached on the top of the mountains where are all the dragons were living for the meantime. Reihta was the first one who landed in their base while Rakesh and Rachel landed on the lake. Rakesh transformed into human and told her, "Once I landed in our base never, ever go out or raised your head on my back. So the other dragons couldn't find you in my back. Understood?" Rachel nodded at him.

"And also, once I landed I will go to where was your family and lead them to you. Don't ever go out and make a noise. Or else they will find out where were you and your family okay?" Rakesh added and again Rachel nod at him.

"Okay, let's go" Rakesh said and transformed into dragon and let Rachel ride him again.

When they arrive Rachel did what Rakesh told her to do. She bowed her head down closer to Rakesh neck so that no one could ever see her. And for the record, Rachel couldn't help but to be amazed of how the dragons bowed at Rakesh. I mean yes, he is a leader and Reihta was his right hand. But still she can't help of how the other dragons respect him as their leader.

They were making a way for Rakesh to walked and passed at them. She can't help but also amazed of how colorful was all the dragons... There were also unique dragons although all they could do was changing colors and to be camouflage themselves just like surroundings.

Rakesh went beside Reihta and ask about Rachel's family so they were to the farthest to their base and look for Freckles.

Freckles are good about sensing if someone was coming or if there was a danger and since he sense that there was someone is coming he became alerted when he spotted their leader and Reihta.

"Oh, thank goodness you are here... I am so bored in here and hungry..." Freckles said when the three of them arrives.

"Yeah, thanks for the job well done." Reihta said. He just nod at look at Rakesh.

"Why you brought humans?" Freckles said. Rakesh already knows that Freckles has a strong sense he can tell if that is a human or a dragon like them or even if it was danger.

"Don't worry she can't harm us" Rakesh said.

"But she's a human! We're supposed to eat them. And I'm hungry" Freckles said.

"Hey, your manners Freckles, you are talking to your leader." Reihta said.

"It's okay..." Rakesh said and look at Freckles, "I know you're hungry you can hunt your food but not humans understand? They are here to help us to get to a place were all of our kind will be hidden so be patient. And don't betrayed me" Rakesh said, they both look at each other straight to their eyes before Freckles nod at him.

When Freckles left them, Rakesh couldn't help but to let out a sigh and bring down Rachel.

Rachel and her family once again they meet each other, Rakesh transformed into human and talked to them.

"I'm sorry if my sister brought you all here and also about your house. It was already destroyed." Rakesh said that shocked Rachel's family.

"What!? Wait, how does our house destroyed?" Rachel's father ask.

"That is why I am here to talk that about. But first let's go inside" Rakesh said and lead the way inside the cabin.

"The truth is that, all of you were not safe to go back there anymore." Rakesh said when all of them gather around in one table and talked.

"What do you mean not safe?" Rachel's father ask.

"Sir, there was someone that I don't know whoever that is, knows about our kind and about your daughter. When all of you gone someone or anything broke inside to get a lot of information about me and your daughter. I think it was someone knows about us" Rakesh said.

"But could this be happen?!" He ask again.

"I still don't know sir, but I am sure that person is looking for our kind. And sorry but I won't let my comrades to be in danger. As much as possible I don't want all of you get back there. There would be a possibility that they will kill all of you." Rakesh said. Rachel's father sighed in dismay and disbelief.

"But how did you know about this?" Rachel's mother ask.

"Well, that time Rakesh fought a monster near to our house mom." Rachel said that surprised all of them.

"There was a monster near the house that time?!" Joe ask and Rachel nodded.

"Yes, and when I fought that Serpent-" Rakesh said but Rachel's family shocked to heard what was that monster near their house.

"SERPENT?!" All of them said. Rakesh nodded and continue, " When I fought her I thought she was the one who did that. But when we were talking she said before she went there the house was already destroyed. She went there to change her scales since she grows" He added explaining to them.

"Now that is why you both were fighting but also talking" Rachel said.

"Then who did destroy our home? We were nowhere to go now. Except going back to your grandmother's house" Rachel's father said.

"Aww! Dad! I don't wanna go to Grandma's house!" Cecilia frown.

"Hey don't talk like that to your Grandma..." Rachel's mother said.

"So what are you going to do now?" Rachel's mother ask when she look at Rakesh.

"Actually, there is one thing I want all of you to do. That if it was alright with you?" Rakesh said.

"What was it?" Rachel's father ask.

"I know that the little lady (Cecilia) Don't like to go to their Grandmother's house but I think this is the best opportunity for me to gather lots of information about my kind." Rakesh said that confused them.

"Explain us verbally" Rachel's father ask. Rakesh nodded, "You see, we were kind of a fighters. But when the people called themselves "Researchers" found about us they begin to hunt us. Not all my comrades escaped, my comrades here are not so much, just as in the hands of how many of my colleagues are with us here today. So, since all of you were humans. I want all of you to gather lots of information what they did to my other comrades, and where are them now. I can't get enough information because they could easily find out that we were not humans." Rakesh said explaining to them.

"How they know that you were not human? I mean, in your appearance you look like one of us?" Rachel's mother ask.

"That is because of this" Rakesh said and show them his left chest who had a strange mark.

"But they won't find that if you did not show them, right? So what else they could possibly knows that you are not human?" Joe said.

"They have a weapon that they always carrying. When they use that or just pointed up even if we were 1 inch away from them our head pains, we literally can't move or use our powers. It made us weak." Rakesh said.

"Oh... Now that explains." Rachel said.

"Then, what do you want us to do now?" Rachel's mother ask.

"I want all of you to investigate. While I and Rachel will find more my comrades everywhere." Rakesh said.

"Wait, she's not coming with us?" Rachel's father ask. And Rakesh nodded.

"I know that you all don't trust me, yet. But believe me I will protect Rachel... It's just that I need her to find my comrades and get a safer place for us to live. We do not want to hurt anyone. But if the humans hurt one of our comrades just like you all, wanted to get their justice. We kill them with our abilities or sometimes we eat them. We just wanted to live here in peace." Rakesh said.

"But..." Rachel's father said but Rachel's mother stop him. They both look at each other when her father sighed.

"Okay, that's a deal we will entrust you our daughter. Just let her be safe with you along with your journey together" Rachel's mother said. Rakesh nodded.

"But first I want all of you to eat these." Rakesh said and gave them like a wormed but a bigger one.

"Eww! What is that?!" Cecilia said looking at the worm who is glowing but also moving.

"I know that it looks disgusting but it will give all of you abilities to contact me and to talked to us even when we were in dragon formed. It was like telepathy ability where we could communicate even if we were too far from you. You just have to get solid image to us to contact us" Rakesh said explaining.

"But it was disgusting!" Cecilia look but Rakesh laughed it off.

"I know it disgusting but when you eat that it taste good" Rakesh said.

All of them don't know if they going to eat it or not but Rachel's father the first one who did it. At first he also felt disgusting but later on when he eat it. It was delicious.

"Hmm... It really taste good. It was like I am eating a salad" Rachel's father said so all of them look at each other before they eat it and they all like it.

After that Rakesh teach them how they could do that so that they could contact each other.
