18 Chapter Seventeen

"Thank you all for coming today. I haven't seen some of you for some time and I am glad to see you all again. It is my son's naming ceremony. I also want to welcome Baptiste and Abella who have been managing Emtor for me" Xander said and raised a glass towards his brother. The others looked at the king and looked awkwardly at Baptiste who focused on Xander. The two stared at each other and for a while, the room became silent. "Well, I have decided to name the boy Philippe" Xander said and raised his glass again. Everyone did the same and hailed the new baby. "Enjoy and party" Xander said and servants brought the food into the hall.

Baptiste looked at his wife who had not taken her eyes off Anthonia. She was so focused on the child, she was smiling. He looked at the child and noticed how she looks like his wife in her younger years. She has his eyes but one wouldn't notice because Xander has the same set of eyes. He touched her wife and she came back to her senses.
