Steve was a noble-hearted man, but the pain he suffered was too intense to bear. So he broke down and plunged into the darkness of alcohol, casual sex, and equally random violence. He wandered in the sphere of darkness for years, not believing he could get out, until one day someone reached out to him and offered to help. And although Martin was not the first person to want to help Steve out of the darkness, it was this boy's voice that reached him first and opened the way for others.
