1 Felix Family

The Felix Manor stood still till date since the time it was built in one of the noble areas of London. The people living in the manor all belonged to Felix Family a family having power equals the royalty. From the time everyone remembers no one has ever seen any maids or butlers in the Felix manor. The only way to live in that Manor is to marry in that family, which is easier said than done.

Many major powers tried to swallow, destroy this strange family but never succeeded. The most strange thing about this family is that almost everyone born in this family focus on studying/researching Space. they also have their own space research facility.

16-10-2020...Midnight

During this time as most of the country was in silence with darkness expanding its clutches in the society, the current members of Felix Family which include 2 elderly men, 1 old woman 1 middle-aged man, 3 women between the age of 20-30, and a little girl about 10 years old were in the living room looking somewhat anxious. Some slight moans were coming from one of the rooms in the manor which stopped after some time. with the end of the painful moans, there was a cry of a small baby coming from the same room. Hearing the crying of the voice most of the people relaxed while the elders stilled looked somewhat worried.

Just as the voice came from the room the old woman stood up and ran straight towards the room at a speed which will make even the fastest sprinter on earth questioning his existence. After she went into the room what greeted her sight was a middle-aged woman holding a newborn baby in her hand while staring sadly towards a pale woman on the bed.

The woman on the bed has her eyes closed with no signs of breathing. Seeing the sight of the woman not breathing and just lying on the bed the old woman's eyes filled with tears as she slowly approached the dead woman and caressed her hair and said "Why did you di this Rose? we have already waited for more than 2000 years it's not like we wouldn't have been able to wait anymore. why did you have to sacrifice yourself? Why?" while saying so she started crying

As she was crying beside the dead woman now identified as Rose the other members of the family came into the room and started shedding tears after seeing the state of Rose.

while they were letting out their sadness due to the loss of a family member the little newly arrived member started crying again, bringing their attention back to him.

As they heard his cry the old woman went towards the woman carrying the child and took him in her hands. Seeing his face that was almost identical to the dead woman the old woman smiled and said in a low voice "You are our only hope now. The product of my daughter's 100 years of research and her life. Don't disappoint Granny" while saying so she took out a silver neckless with a square shape locket inscribed with strange symbols from her neck and placed it on the baby's forehead. After waiting for sometime and seeing no reaction from it her face became disappointed as she raised her hand to take away the locket but just as her hand was about to touch it the locket glowed in silver color and vanished sinking inside the baby's head.

Seeing such scene everyone became happy while the middle aged man went outside and took out a handphone and dialed a number. after the call got through he said "Rose's experiment was successful. the Locket reacted."

Aftyer some time a somewhat aged voice came from other side of phone "How is she?"

"She wasn't able to make through it" said the man emotionally

"sigh...bring the child to me after his 6th birthday" replied the voice after pausing for few seconds.
