I think not

Location: Quinneth's School

Pulling up to the school I grab my bag and purse. Before getting out the car I give Alexander a quick peck on the lips.

"Mhm sweet like chocolate." I blush at his comment.

"You picking me up?"

"Yeah, 4:00 right?"

"Correct." As I reach for the door handle, he stops me.

"I want to talk to you after school, are you free?"

"Yeah, Ida's taking over the store herself today so we can talk. You ok?" He looks worried.

"I just wanted to talk about the whole werewolf thing." I didn't bring it up today, because I didn't think he wanted to talk about it.

"You want to talk at the waterfall."

"Sure, why not."

"That's great because I have lots of questions to ask." He rolls his eyes.

"I know you do; I saw you writing down questions yesterday." I had to make sure I didn't forget anything, all of it is important.

Alexander's P.O.V.-

The elevator opens up, me and the influx of people in the elevator all walk out. I'm an hour late to work, hopefully my father doesn't say anything.

Walking into his office, I see him sitting at his desk filling out paperwork. Once he sees me, he hangs up the phone and gives me his undivided attention.

"I hope you know you're an hour late." I let out a deep sigh and pop a squat next to him. Work actually starts around 8:00, but he makes me come in at like 6 in the morning.

"Sorry, I had to drop Quinn off at school, her grandfather is using her car."

"Don't let it happen again."

"Ok, um I need to tell you something."

"What is it, son. I have a lot of work to do so we need to hurry this up."

From the way he's looking at me I'm quite afraid of telling him about Quinn knowing that I'm a werewolf. He is totally against her knowing, hope he doesn't kill me we are in a public place after all. That probably won't stop him.

"I- well- see what happened was." I find it rather hard to get my words out, his piercing black eyes aren't helping the situation.

"Alexander, what are you trying to tell me. Can't be that bad." He doesn't know the half out it.

"Quinneth know's that I'm a werewolf." I clench my legs; he just stares at me while his left eye twitches.

"She knows what!" Yeah, he's angry.

"I told her t-." He cuts me off.

"I know what you said, don't repeat it." He gets up and shuts the door so no one can hear this conversation.

"How did she find out?" He asked pacing across the floors.

"Oh, she didn't find out, I actually told her." He stops in his tracks.

"You told her willingly." I nod my head.

"Jesus Alexander this- this isn't good. We have to erase her memory or something."

"No, we're not doing that dad. She won't tell anyone."

"How do you know that?"

"She's my girlfriend, my mate she won't be an issue."

"You better make sure she isn't. I want to talk to her." My eyes bulge open, I don't feel comfortable with him alone with Quinneth he may hurt her feelings. Quinn may act tough, but she's a softie.

"Are you sure about that?"

"Look, I'm not going to hurt her feelings or anything. I just want to assure that she won't say anything and knows how serious it is."

"Fine, when do you want to see her?"

"Tomorrow would be perfect."

"I'll let her know, can I leave now?"

"Sure, be productive." I leave his office and head down to mines. The future conversation with Quinneth and my father will be on my mind all day.

Quinneth’s P.O.V-

Going over to my locker I put out all my stuff for economics. I think today we’ll be writing notes, hopefully there not long though.

As I do that, the thought of Alexander remains on my mind. Surprisingly I’m doing fairly well with Alexander being a werewolf. Most girls would freak out, but I don’t know the thought of being what he is just... makes sense. All the signs were there, the colored eyes, deep low growls it all adds up. Why didn't make the connection sooner, beats me.

Shutting my locker, Lyra pops up with a huge grin on her face.

“God Ly, you scared the crap out of me.”

“Sorry not sorry.” While I readjust my books, she looks at me with the look of ‘I've-got-something-to-tell-you.’

“Whatever you have to tell me Lyra just come out with it.” I usher her on.

She gives me a pouty look, “You’re not even going to guess?”

“Nah, don’t feel like it.” She rolls her eyes and groans.

“Fine, I got the promotion.” We both jump up and down as we hug each other. People lurking in the halls give us weird looks. “It’s like they’ve never seen a happy person before.”

“When did you hear about it?” She must have found out today, because she would have sent me message or called.

“Like 20 minutes ago.” She jumps around.

“This is amazing I’m so proud for you.”

“Thanks.”

“We have to celebrate, maybe come over and we watch movies?” Her lips go from a smile to a frown. "Also, we could order in food from Burg-oh-wow and drug out on candy."

“Yikes I can't, Raincheck.”

“Why?”

“When I told Jack of the news, he wanted to celebrate. He’s taking me out to San Fran for a candle light dinner.” Her eyes lit up.

“Sounds romantic.” I swiggle my eyebrows all seductive like. The bell rings and everyone starts to head to class.

“We better hurry to class, or Mr. Banhammer will write us up.”

“Your right, come on.” We walk through the crowd of people to economics.

After School...

“See you tomorrow Lyra. Tell me what happens with you and Jack.” I say to Lyra as I push the door open with my back.

“You got it!” She screams to me as she runs across the parking lot to Jack.

Speaking of parking lot Alexander is standing against his car, staring dead at me.

“Hi.” I speak.

“Hey baby.” He grabs me by my waist and kisses me on the lips.

“Was your dad mad that you were late?” His lips purse up.

“Not really I thought he would be.”

“That’s good.” I hug onto his waist. A look comes over his face, like he has something to tell me, but doesn’t want to say it.

“Okay what did you do.” His mouth forms a ‘o’ face.

“What do you mean?” He chuckles out.

“You have that look on your face, bad news.”

“Why do you think I did something wrong?”

“I don’t know, you just seem like a trouble maker.” I laugh. He slightly slaps my hips. “Go on and tell me can’t be that bad.”

“My father wants to talk to you.” A frown forms on my face.

“That’s bad, no.” I try to walk away, but he holds me in place with his hands on my hips.

“Come on, just talk to him”

“He doesn’t even like me.” I pout.

“What would give you that idea?” His eyebrows furrow.

“He’s always giving me dirty looks. When he was here to look at our projects, he gave Lyra a smile and me a dirty, aggressive look.”

“You're overacting.”

“I think I’m underreacting, there’s many dirtier looks he gave me this was just one. What does he want to talk about anyways?”

“The werewolf stuff.”

“He knows that I know. How?”

“I told him earlier, he just wants to ensure that you won’t tell anyone of this.”

“But I won’t.”

“I know that, but just go in and talk to him. Lay his old mind at rest.” I work it over in my mind, yes, I’m scared to talk to this father he’s pretty scary. The quicker I get this over, the faster I can go home. I come to my decision.

“Fine.”

“Perfect, now come on let’s go.” He smacks my butt as he unlocks his car.

“Ow that hurt.” I rub my person. I don't think he really knows his own strength, the guy is built like a body builder.

“ You think that hurt? Won’t hurt as much when you conversate with my dad.”

“Alexander!” I whine.

“Just kidding, let’s go.” I get in the car and we head to my house. The conversation with his father tomorrow is going to keep me up at night.
