82 Chapter 81 - There's a revolution coming

On the same day Bob was in Sabaody park, newspapers were sent out all across the world. Bob was seated on a boulder looking at the crowd. His image was enlarged so you couldn't see Wishful Thinking in the background.

'LEGENDARY! Quicksword Bob challenges the World!'

That was the headline, which was pretty bold.

All across the world various powers were reading the newspaper. Some were angry, some were excited.

However, there were five old men that were highly upset.

One elder flung the newspaper down on the table and crossed his legs.

"These damned D's are making trouble. Always appearing in the paper these days."

One elder picked up the paper and pointed towards Bob.

"Especially this guy. His parents were great marine admirals, he just couldn't be the same could he?"

"It's in that damned bloodline of theirs! Stirring up trouble no matter where they go."

"Monkey D. Dragon, Monkey D. Luffy, Portgas D. Ace, Trafalgar D. Water Law now Bob D. Builder…"

"They need to be crushed!"

The five old men were angry. The marines set out to kill Ace but then they failed and lost many men in the process.

While those five men were discussing their future actions, Bob was walking around Sabaody. He wasn't planning on returning here for some time, so he wanted to see everything before he left.

He spotted an old woman with a cane crying.

Bob was going to ignore her and hoped someone else would deal with it, but everyone else paid her no attention.

Bob walked over to the old woman and asked what was wrong.

"It's my son… he threw me out…"

The old woman said as she cried her heart out.

Bob looked the woman over and he felt pain in his heart. Who'd throw out their own mother? How heartless could you be?

"Why don't you go somewhere else?"

"I have nowhere to go…"

The woman said.

She was pretty old, but Bob couldn't see how she could be a problem.

He talked with the woman for a while before finding out where she lived.

"Let me go talk to your son. Maybe he'll change his mind."

Bob said as he took the woman to an inn and paid for her to stay the night.

Even Bob wasn't that heartless to leave this woman out there suffering. He might not be her son, but Bob still remembered his own parents from his past. This life here in One Piece, he didn't know much about his parents. However, in his past life he always respected his parents, afterall, they gave him his life and took care of him. When he had no where to go, he was always able to return home.

Seeing her, it reminded him of all the good things in his past.

Bob stormed to the old woman's son's home and kicked in the door.

"Who the..?"

The man was thin and sitting down on the couch reading a paper.

Bob saw the man and walked up to him.

"How dare you?!"

Bob punched the man in the face.

"Throw your mother out?!"

"Stop! Stop!"

Bob ignored his cries of pain and just continued to beat the man senseless. When he finally calmed down, the man's face wasn't even recognizable.

He was mumbling some words, but Bob couldn't make sense of it.

Bob threw him down and took the paper he was reading and wrote on it.

'If I find out she's not back here tomorrow, I will have your head.'

Bob left the paper on the table for him to read when he could, then Bob left.

As much as Bob would like to take care of the woman, he could not. He would be traveling the seas, he had no time for the old woman. This was the most he could do, he just prayed his threat would work.

The next day, another paper was sent out. This one had a picture of Luffy at Marineford with a tattoo on his arm. 3D2y is what the Tattoo was, except the 3D was crossed out.

The day after that, bounties were released to the public.

When Bob got the news, he knew it was time to leave this world. People would be constantly coming for his head. However, Bob found it strange that they used Quicksword Bob instead of his full name.

Even though Ace was known as Fire-fist and Luffy was known as Strawhat, their bounties still had their full name on it. Bob's was different, it had his nickname.

Bob got interested for the first time in what his full name could be. The marines must know, afterall his parents were marines.

Sooner or later, Bob would find out when he went to Dressrosa to complete his main quest.

Sometime later there was a large change in the marines rankings. Admiral Aokiji was promoted to Fleet Admiral Kuzan. The previous Fleet Admiral resigned.

Besides that, there was a large string of promotions and demotions in the marine rankings.

Time past and before anyone knew it, two years passed by.

During that time, Wishful Thinking had become a legend. They came into the world randomly one day, and vanished one day as well. People were craving for more, but Wishful Thinking never appeared in the public eye.

Until today that is.

It was something no one expected. They were hosting a concert after two years, and they were only playing one song.

The price to attend this concert was 10,000 beli, but even then, the concert hall was still jam packed with people.

Charles and his friends grew up, they had different looks than before, but they still had a certain charm to them.

Since that day they played Legendary with Bob in front of them, everyone knew there was some sort of connection between the band and Bob.

Knowing that, there were various marines inside the concert hall waiting for Bob to show up.

They had entrances blocked off so he couldn't escape.

The music started playing as people began to scream and shout.

Charles voice seemed to contain more power than before, or maybe it was because they went two years without hearing his voice. Whichever it was, the people in the audience loved it and screamed with all their hearts.

"What does this mean?"

"Revolution? Does that mean something big is going to happen?!"

There were various thoughts amongst the people.

One marine asked his comrades. When he looked at them, he noticed they were drawn in by Charles singing. They were jamming to the song instead of focusing on finding Bob.

Hearing Charles voice, he didn't even realize that his feet were tapping themselves. His body wasn't listening to him anymore, instead it moved to the music. He felt he was entranced by Charles words and voice.
