63 Chapter 62 -Wishful Thinking

Smoker was on one of the ships along with a woman with long pink hair.

He heard that Crocodile was defeated and already reported it to the higher ups. All that was left was to capture the pirates once they left.

It's already been four hours, but there hasn't been any movement.

The den-den mushi started to ring and Smoker picked it up.

"This is Marines Headquarters, is this Captain Smoker speaking?"

A voice asked from the other side of the den-den mushi.

"It is."

"In regards to your subjugation of Crocodile, you and Sergeant Major Tashigi are to report to the World Government so that you may be presented with medals and a promotion"

"Subjugation? Hey! Didn't you read my report, it wasn't me who brought him down. It was the pirates!"

Smoker started shouting.

"Calm down Smoker, can't you see what's going on."

The woman with long pink hair spoke.

"The brass is trying to cover up this incident. How would it look to the world if a bunch of pirates were the ones who saved Alabasta?"

"Hina…"

Smoker said as he realized what was going on. He didn't like this at all, but orders were orders.

"Guess Strawhat and Bob get to live peacefully for another day."

Smoker said.

He called forth support, but now it wasn't needed.

Back at the Palace all the people who were injured were being healed. Luffy and the others were given the highest attention.

Bob was also in the palace with his crew.

"This place sure is nice."

John said as he sat there eating.

"I can't believe it. Gin joined up with you."

Sanji was shocked when he saw Gin again. He figured he wouldn't cross paths with him anymore but he was wrong.

Bob was glad that those guys didn't get into a fight.

"Seems you already know some of my members. I was hoping to introduce Luffy to them, but thats impossible for now."

Bob said.

"Can't you just heal him?"

John asked.

"You can heal people?"

Nami asked in confusion. She saw what Bob could do but he did not look like a healer to her.

"I could, but this is good for his growth. Give him time to recuperate and think about the future."

"I can't believe it. Dalton, you joined up with him as well!"

Usopp said as he saw Dalton.

Dalton laughed.

"It's interesting with these guys."

"I'd stick around longer but I have other things I need to do for now."

Bob said as he got up from his seat.

"Bob, stay a while longer. I must reward you for helping save our country!"

King Cobra said as he felt he hasn't done enough for Bob.

"It wasn't much, but if you want to reward me then i'll be happy to receive some money."

Bob laughed a little but the king nodded his head.

"Pell, prepare him some gold."

Pell nodded his head and went off.

"That band that was playing, what's their name? I really enjoyed listening to their music even if I was facing death."

King Cobra asked Bob.

Bob never thought about it much. He never did come up with official names for his organization, the pirate crew, nor Charles and his band. No one really asked him about the name before.

Bob was actually speechless for a moment.

"Wishful Thinking."

Bob didn't really care about the band name, so he came up with this.

"Wishful Thinking! It's a good name, how about having them perform here?"

"No can do. They are getting some rest, and they need to learn some more songs. How about you come to their concert next week?"

King Cobra nodded his head.

"Sure, be sure to save me a seat."

"Only if you tell your friends about it."

Bob laughed and said.

After talking with the King Bob walked around the palace for a bit and stumbled into the room Luffy was in. He was lying down on the bed with his eyes closed.

"You've got a long way to go Luffy."

"What are you talking about?"

Vivi asked as she stepped into the room.

"Nothing."

Bob looked at Vivi and thought of something.

"I'll be in town for a few more days, if you want to meet up come find me in Rainbase."

Vivi nodded her head.

"You're not staying until he wakes up?"

"Nah. Our paths will cross again, i'm sure of it."

Bob received his gold from the King and left the palace. Things were calmed down now that the war was over with, however Bob still had a lot left to do in Alabasta.

The hospital still needed to be finished and the casino needed to be opened up again.

When Bob and his gang reached the base they were all tired.

"What are you going to do now?"

Bob asked John.

"I'm thinking of going after this marine turned pirate Gasparde. Should keep me busy for a while."

Hearing John's words Bob realized something. It wasn't just non cannon and anime only characters that appeared in this world. Even the characters from the movies appeared as well!

"I'm going to Thriller Bark next, but for now I plan on staying here for a while. Need to make sure everything goes right and that the casino can be opened again. When do you plan on leaving?'

John looked up and thought about it.

"In a day or two."
