Arc Two: Imperfect Girl 2.1

The weather was pleasant, so the young woman suggested to the young man they should eat somewhere with outdoor seating. She had a prosthetic arm that she had fitted some time ago yet she still had to get used to it.

The breezes blew by her, and the youthful-looking woman with warm feelings casually sipped her milk tea. Yeo Hana didn't care to dress up. She wore a short-sleeved white t-shirt with the word, 'Seoulite' on it. She wore figure-hugging patch-work jeans, paired with red converses.

Her curled bangs bounced against her forehead as the summer air against her like a marathoned effort. Her rich face was makeup-free, a bit red from the blemishes she had on her sienna-toned face--they were noticeable scars on her face that heavily impacted her skin.

Her big eyes were red and puffy, from crying that prior night.

In such a trendy, upscale cafe she gave off a youthful vibe, occasionally smiling at her cell phone as she sat cross-legged.

Passerbys probably figured she was a college student meeting up with friends. Because she looked like she was a foreigner, onlookers watched her actions with curiosity.

"Ah, Oppa!" A young man, wearing blue jeans and a cream short-sleeved button-down shirt. He was wearing a mask and a baseball cap--but the people watching their altercation could see he was a handsome man from the gracefulness of his stance.

"Aigoo...look at this girl. Hana-Ah, you're looking beautiful every day." He says with a bit of a jovial laugh, giving her a tight hug whilst her cheek hits his toned chest.

"I know you're lying. It's been a while since we've known each other and you still call me a piece of pork belly!"

"Ah, but our family's cute Hana is just like a piglet, how could I not call you that?"

Hana hits his chest, with her small yet plump fists while he continues to chuckle.

The strangers watching their encounter slowly looked at them, wondering who it was. Then, suddenly a young woman, probably a university-aged girl, whispered.

"Hey, hey. Didn't his voice sound familiar to Stephan Park's?"

"It is, it is! But ah, what's my idol doing talking to such an ordinary girl?"

"So, would you like to discuss what I messaged you about earlier?" She nods, tucking a stray hair behind her small, pointed ears.

Stephan Park--he was sitting with his posture straight, and relaxed at her words--a perfectly aligned smile blooming from his face. He was like a freshly bloomed flower, one that wouldn't wilt any time soon. Even at thirty-two, he seemed to be the bright, chaebol she befriended twelve years ago.

Only now, he decided to be a fucking celebrity that everyone knew.

That's why meeting him nowadays was already difficult in itself.

One of the people who made her life in Korea one of the happiest times of her life.

"Lawyer Kim, the contract please." The simply dressed man standing under the umbrella shielded a set of seats, took off a set of papers, plopping them down between the set of companions. She takes the paper, reading the first line with a soft smile gracing her lips.

Silence befell them soon after.

"...I'm sorry it took so long, Hana."

Hana shook her head as she read through the contract in her hand.

"I don't blame you, Oppa. You are grieving, I was in the hospital until recently."

He gives her a small smile that's wry.

"If I had been there instead, you would have been there, Areum would've been..." He begins, swallowing his choked-up tears.

"Oppa--" Hana starts, yet her mouth doesn't form the rest of the words she wanted to say.

'It's not your fault, Oppa.'

Instead, she signs her name, and hands back the documents to the lawyers on the side.

"To our marriage, to finding Areum, Oppa."

"To finding Areum."

They both hugged, with the two of them having different thoughts as they squeezed each-other tightly.

'I won't love you, because you're my most important friend.'

'I won't love you, because I know someone's already in your heart.'

After the abrupt shutdown with her first assignment, Lee took a bit of time off before beginning the second world.

In this world, Lee was a girl named Yeo Hana. She was the cannon fodder friend of the male and female lead. The third wheel so to speak. After an accident where the female lead had been kidnapped, Hana who had been disfigured, as well had her arm amputated. The original Yeo Hana declined to take Stephan's offer, eventually losing contact with him. Originally, after being racked with guilt over not being able to save her friend, the young woman left an apology letter in the male lead's mailbox. After the fact, she hung herself in her bathroom.

Lee sighed to herself. This surface plot was just tragic, like a bad Korean drama. After having met up with the male lead, and signing the contract, she was informed of her missions as they both rode back to his home.

Sabrina, who was smiling, held her clipboard in her hand.

Current Missions:

1. Collect The Male Lead's Essence

2. Find out what happened to the female lead.

3. Have At Least One Child.
