Mohan's instinct which led him to instruct everyone not to kill Wang Yu Yan stemmed from the plot. In the original timeline, the latter was the one who indirectly informed him about the plan.
Unfortunately, this time around, the female lead was the one who captured Wang Yu Yan.
The villainess was careful but when the elite squad comprised of nobles were provoked, they dropped their wariness from being too deep into enemy territory and just retaliated with all they had.
