I stand there at the end of the aisle as she walks down to me. In a pure white dress with a veil covering her face, I gaze at her as she comes.

She's finally going to be officially mine.

The piano sounds as she walks down the aisle, ringing the joys in my heart as she's a step closer to being mine.

I blinked in disbelief of the happiness I'm feeling.

But then, when I opened my eyes after a single moment, she's gone.

And then, I wake up to reality.

Again.

To another day without her.

It has been 5 years since she left me behind.

Five fucking years.

Her room has been maintained the way she left it.

I made sure that it was left untouched and cleaned everyday for no dust to settle in.

I made sure that the room is exactly the same way as it was on the day she left - the books, the pens, the cups, the snacks, everything.
