Chapter Two

The two walked hand in hand down the chilly street, attracting the attention of the passersby, but Ying Yue had no intention of letting the warm hand of the Male God go.

He had excellent hands after all and didn't seem to mind that she was taking advantage of him.

"Cousin, I hadn't expected to meet you today," after a while Sun Shao Qing spoke, he had been thinking of something previously.

Sun Ying Yue giggled as she looked up at the tall figure walking beside her, "cousin, I hadn't thought so either! You won't believe what I met on the road while travelling here! If it hadn't been for a brave hero, I'm afraid I would've been dead under those scary bandit's blades!"

The brave hero cutie who was currently doing a self spa treatment sighed with emotion ignoring the exaggerated agent he was assigned to.

Sun Shao Qing looked down at the footprints in the snow, indeed from his investigations, this cousin died during a bandit raid.

He didn't know who had saved her this time, but he was grateful to them, if not, he wouldn't have known he had such a cute and sunny cousin.

Sun Shao Qing reached out and pat the head belonging to the pouting little face, even after experiencing that he was glad she didn't lose her sunny vibe.

Sun Ying Yue giggled, mhm, this situation wasn't bad. Even if she was a ghost, it was worth being one for the sake of getting head pats from the Male God!

Ahead of them, sounds of excitement echoed down the lane, causing Sun Ying Yue to perk up, she looked at the man beside her, "cousin, cousin, how about we go ahead and take a look?"

Sun Shao Qing looked down at the bubbly figure that was swinging their intertwined hands, before absent mindlessly agreeing.

He only realised his actions once he was pulled into a throng of people by a little figure.

"Young Master Cai, how many times do I have to tell you, don't walk down the same path as I do!" A young female voice was harsh as she scolded someone.

"Wu Mao Shu, you're a lady how could you go around beating people up in the middle of the street?" A handsome young man, who was battered and bruised laid on the floor, howling while clutching his right eye.

Beside him was his servant, trying to calm the raging young lord.

Wu Mao Shu snorted before flicking her hair, "So what if I hit you? This young lady will hit you whenever I see you!"

Sun Ying Yue pulled Sun Shao Qing to the front of the crowd in time to see the heroic big sister arrogantly sneering down at the young man.

"Wow, cousin, don't you think that young lady is super awesome?" Ying Yue nodded her head amazed as she questioned the Male God who was blankly looking down at their entwined hands.

Hearing her question, he looked up at the activity in front of him before frowning. Wasn't that the second daughter of Wu family and the spoilt young son of Cai?

What were they doing in the middle of the road acting like gangsters? As the legitimate children of their families, weren't they ashamed of being so unruly in the middle of the roads?

Cai Lin Bo nearly spurted out blood as he pointed his finger at her. This wench...their engagement was forced upon them by their families, but wasn't it too much to beat him?!

He was dissatisfied too, who wants to marry such a violent person?!

Sun Ying Yue's mouth formed an O shape as she looked at the handsome man who looked like he was about to pass out. Was this what they meant by being angered to death?

"Cousin," Ying Yue looked up at Sun Shao Qing her eyes sparkling even more brightly, "cousin I don't think that lady is bad, are you interested? If you are, I'll grab her contact details for you."

Sun Shao Qing frowned, "why would I be interested, isn't it just a third-generation child being problematic?" Also, what does she mean by grabbing contact details, did she have a hobby of going up to random people to ask for a way to contact them?

Sun Ying Yue pouted, "but isn't it good? I think being such a strong sister is better than being a weak one!"

Hey Male God, obviously that young lady could beat up the Female Lead when she comes near you, isn't it good to take her home to raise? Even if she doesn't become your wife, let her be your bodyguard!

The System who was quietly munching on some melons casually threw a piece of information out to his host, "that girl you're trying to hit the Male God up with is already engaged."

Ying Yue blanked for a moment before asking, "so?"

"So don't break apart couples as you wish, your task is to find a lover for the Male Gods, candidates don't include those who already have their red strings tied."

Ying Yue blinked, then blinked again. So to say those who are already tied up can't be involved with the Male Gods?! How was she supposed to know who hadn't had their red strings touched?! "Why didn't you tell me that earlier?!"

Wasn't this a scam? She only agreed to be bound to the System because she thought it was going to be easy, who didn't have a side hobby of being a matchmaker?!

The System casually spat out a melon seed, "aren't I telling you that now?"

Ying Yue suddenly didn't have the willpower to talk to this unreasonable piece of data anymore as she pouted, "cousin nevermind, I think we should look for other sisters to become my cousin-in-law."

Sun Shao Qing frowned, she had gone quiet for so long, her expressions kept changing as if having a mental debate. He sighed, why does this little cousin have an interest in matching him with someone, was she tasked by his mother to find him a wife?

Thinking about that caused Sun Shao Qing to feel a headache, his mother was already pestering him to get married.

Now a cousin appeared also having the same interest, wasn't his life going to get busy from now on?
