Dinner party (4)

"Don't worry. Let's be patient. Not sooner than tomorrow, that old man will be a goner. We'll get our hands on that 'thing.'"

The door was closed before Lawrence could hear anything more.

He carried Kevin in his arms as he made his way around the corridor. The small book is still in his pockets.

He searched for the bathroom but there were too many rooms in this house. And almost all of them are locked.

As he made the last sharp turn, he saw the maids cleaning the windows and the railings.

He had reached the front hall where the entrance was. Lawrence is currently on the second floor and saw the two stairs on each side decorated with elegant white flowers.

There are also golden delicate designs on the walls and on every pillar a beautiful moon crescent shaped lantern was hanging elegantly.

These moon crescent designs stood out as they glow incredibly. Lawrence guessed they planned to have the dinner party in dimly lit.
