1 CH.1 Granted A Second Chance

In a pure white space, a woman wearing a pure white dress slept there with her eyes tightly closed. Her almost perfect beautiful face, like a jade carved by the gods to perfection. Paired with her long golden hair, and well-endowed body. The aura surrounding her also makes people keep away from her as if she was something that mortals couldn't touch. If one could describe her with a word it would be 'Ethereal'.

Not far from her body was a book-shaped crystal, with wings and a bright golden halo on top of it.

After some time, the woman's eyelids fluttered and slowly opened. Revealing a pair of bright clear green eyes.

At first, she was dazed as a large amount of information suddenly poured into her mind so quickly that she couldn't adapt. Soon, her mind regains its clarity.

The crystal book that had been quietly floating not far in front of her saw that she had awakened and flashed its body. It started flying around towards her and spinning around her body like a dog that had finally found its owner.

The woman then shed a small tear and reached out her hand towards the book. She then cried a little. She remembered this book, it's the book that always been with her. A book symbolizing her struggle and pain. Suddenly a blob of light appears and called out in a human voice: "Hi, Emily. I'm your partner from now, I'm your guide or system. Would you like to give me a name?"

The woman known as Emily nodded her head and said, "System." She called out the name as it was simple. The System which now called 'System' was kind of sand that its host doesn't give it a name but had no way of venting its sadness so it could only sulk alone.

At this moment Emily had absorbed the information and naturally had known what this book meant to her and what she's doing.

"So my task is to go to each world, enjoy my life and get enough points so that I could reincarnate back to my world ?" She wanted to go back and finish the unfinished business she had there especially those scumbags, a dark glint flashed in her eyes for a brief moment.

The System didn't notice it and flashed a little, "Yes, I don't know why, but my creator makes this privilege only for you." It was confused itself as the other system got a strict task to give for its host to complete otherwise there would be severe consequences.

Emily nodded her head and asked, "Are my other memories real?"

According to her other memories, Emily was a woman who had lived a life of honour. She reached heights others couldn't. But it was all taken by an outsider, and she died a miserable death.

She was a merciful person, but as she contemplated, she's unable to stop the resentment and murderous intent in her heart. Slowly but surely her aura became a little distant.

The system is a little solemn but replied "Yes"

A deep crimson aura burst out of her body, seeing this the system said, "Calm down Emily, in the future, you would be able to exact your revenge toward those scum."

Hearing what the system said, Emily started to calm down and her easy-going personality is back. Since the integration of both of her memories, she had developed some kind of split personality.

Seeing the situation is somewhat improved, the system said, "Good, now that you've calmed down we can start to begin your journey. Before we start do you have any questions?"

Emily asked nervously, "Will this book follow me on my journey and do you have any special function?"

The system answered, "Yes the book would you and I have a few special functions such as 'Status, Inventory, and Gacha.'"

Emily sighed in relief, "Thank god. The book would follow me."

A few information poured into her mind but it isn't as bad as the first time. "I'm ready to go. I'm also waiting for the day I'll get revenge for the other Emily and the time I'll get back to my world."

Emily said as the crystal book turned into a necklace with the winged-halo book as the pendant.

The system shuddered at what its new host said. It suddenly wanted to pray for those who offended her in the past. This new master, Emily shouldn't be messed with ah, but it should've made sense as she got a privilege from my creator.

"Prepare to enter the new world: 3…2...1 Transfer commencing."

Emily then loses consciousness.

-In an Unknown Space-

A white-haired man was sitting on a throne humming a tune while seeing Emily through a mirror.

Near him was a silhouette of a man kneeling, "Is this alright your majesty?"

The man stopped humming, his smile turning to a frown and glared at the silhouette, "Are you questioning my decision?"

A heavy pressure pressed down on the silhouette and his body is covered in sweat "I don't dare to."

The man then waved his hand and the silhouette started to dissipate while thinking, "Just who is this woman that causes his majesty to act like that."

The man smiled and continued humming, "Soon we'll be able to meet Emily."
